Kuvat eivät ollenkaan vastanneet totuutta. Jo ulkoapäin hotelli ei tunnistettavissa, ja huone oli aivan muta kuin kuvissa. Yksi ainoa kuva vaatimattomasta huoneesta osui kohdalleen, joten se oli pettymys. Ja mainostama parveke, näkymä oli takapihalle joka oli siivoton, rojua täynnä ja autio rauniohotelli avoimine risaisine ikkunoineen ja savupiippuraunioineen […] heti vastapäätä 20 m päässä pimentämässä aurinkoa.Masentava näkymä. Kattoterassia ei ollut. Aamiaisella puuttuivat kaikki vihannekset ja hedelmät ja osalla päivistä juustokin oli loppu. Eikä Fetaa! Pullovettä ei ollut huoneessa, aina piti pyytää pullo kerrallaan ja toisinaan yrittivät ottaa maksun siitä. Suihkussa verho roikkui keskellä ammetta ja hana samoin keskellä allasseinää, joten oli hiukan vaikea toimitus. Siivous kyllä pelasi moitteettomasti ja pyyhkeitä sai haluaman määrän. Siisti, edullinen ja hyvä hotelli hyvällä paikalla. Lähellä rannat, mukavat ruokaravintolat ja pienen kävelymatkan päässä myös mukava kulkureitti vanhaan kaupunkiin. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja hyvällä perusaamiaisella päivä lähtee hyvin käyntiin. Suosittelemme!

Good location near the beach, close to many restaurants and shops. Quite cheap, tidy and service was good. Breakfast could have been more comprehensive, the lack of fruits and fresh products bothered us a little bit. But this doesn't change the fact it tasted good. Good hotel with friendly staff, close to the old town and sea. Exellent breakfast with nice choice of dishes. Lift, cozy rooms, everyday room-cleaning. Free wi-fi. Spent four nights at this hotel, extremely pleased with helpful service,clean, large rooms but the greatest benefit was the extensive free breakfast withall you might want or need. And I was quite impressed with the priceconsidering the location and convenience to the Old City and the harbor.

Very nice spacious room. Location of hotel is very central, just a few minutes walk to the beach & many shops & restaurants in the local area. Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok but little variety & no fruit available. Staff were very friendly & even allowed me a late check out on my departure date.

City Center Hotel is a unique story.Nice things first Price for a true city hotel is the lowest around. The hotel is situated in one of the best cross roads in the city just across the Rhodes casino and 100mr from the "Eli" beach. It has excellent cafe and the whole picture when you enjoy your coffee outside,is top rate You could sit for hours ! You […] have everything you could ask for, just a few feet away. And i mean everything from a pharmacy to a doctor or a super market.The Lady in the reception is a plus for the hotel and the people that serve your drinks in the cafe get a 9 plus too. Oooops i forgot ...the elevator works just fine for an old hotel. So you pick up your key ,and straight for the nice elevator and Ooooops you open the door towards the corridor ! Be prepared. If our rating until now,was a 9 plus and even a 10 for the price, well the rest of the story is not good ( in most parts ) .Corridor is narrow. Painting everywhere is old and worn. Doors are old and the interior ones ( bath) sometimes refuse to close :) !The overall " inside the room" picture is POOR. You expect alot more because the outside impressions are miles above THIS.But , but , but the bath has everything you need and hot water is there even in the early morning. The towels should not be left on a small chair. Please hang the towels ! Balcony is superb for morning coffee. The room cleaner does a good work .Skip the morning bouffet. Lovely hotel, easy to find from the bus stop using the directions on the website, very nice staff, helpful and friendly. Noisy in our room at the front the first night but we asked to be moved to a quiet room at the back for the rest of our stay and this was done without any trouble. Location wasn't bad. Front desk service was the worst. My friends had to stay at another hotel because they overbooked their reservation, and when they came to pick me up, the front desk wouldn't let them up, and when he called me, he hung up on me. Very good value for money .... perhaps a bit noisy from certain rooms but this is to be expected. Get a room on a side street as high as possible. The restaurant below is very pleasant and hotel clientel get a 10% reduction on all meals and drinks.

This hotel is about 1km from the old town of Rhodos. The staff are friendly & helpful. The casino is across the road if that is your poison! There is a fabulous contemporary art gallery 300metres away. A few bars, restaurants, coffee shops, general store, pharmacy, the aquarium, etc etc are very handy.

I spent the last 2 nights of an 11 night trip to Rhodes at the end of the 2011 season. My previous nights were in Lindos and I came to stay in Rhodes town to go view some rental propertys close by. I booked and paid my first night online which was straight forward - sadly on deciding to stay the second night the Visa machine was out of service and i […] had to go to an ATM on the morning of my departure. But was not a problem. Breakfast was pleasant and generally my stay was fine although people in neighhouring rooms on my floor did have loud conversations from one end of the hall to the other at all hours which was disturbing and a little disconcerting to a female travelling alone. Sadly the WIFI signal did not reach the rooms but I was able to plug my powerlead into the mains in the breakfast area and sit and use the wifi there . Although this was not comfortable for all day use and i ended up wandering off to find a neighbouring coffee shop with cosy sofas to sit for a few hours. Overall - the staff were friendly and helpful and in general i would say that my stay there was very nice. i would definately stay there again. The location of this hotel, for its great price, couldn't be better - just a short walk to the harbour and the old town, in an area of lovely restaurants, all very affordable. Very friendly and helpful staff, happy to go out of their way for us. Great breakfast spread. Would definitely stay here again, and definitely recommend to others!

I stayed at the City Centre Hotel in Rhodes for one night, en route from Corfu to Kalavarda. It was everything I wanted, and reasonably priced, but the big bonus was the attitude of the hotel proprietor, who helped me out with a couple of problems to do with car hire, and also was kind enough to let me use his office to print out my boarding passes […] for our return journey, which I'd been unable to do in the UK. It took us quite a bit of time locating the hotel. We arrived in Rhodes by ferry and guided by google maps, we tried to reach there through the old town (the hotel was stated to be 10mins from the old town). However, no-one knew of the hotel and some were even puzzled by the address (copied from Expedia). The room was clean but the furniture looked […] somewhat old. The bathroom shower had a latch to support the showerhead which fell off when I tried to use it. We were not provided with daily change of soap/shampoo as is expected in a hotel. The balcony of our room faced another hotel which had gone out of business. The room amenities in the expedia website mentions "Wireless high-speed Internet access (complimentary)". We were informed by the reception that free internet access was only available in the hotel lobby; for internet in the room, we had to purchase a card (various time options). They could not provide the card we wanted over the four days we stayed there. It's good we had our own laptop, for the other computers in the lobby charged 1 euro for 20mins use. Once in the hotel, the receptionists tried to help as much as they could with directions, bus timings, etc.. The hotel is indeed a 10min walk from one of the gates of the old town and once you got used to the location, it was okay. There are quite a few eateries in the locality, so we did not use the 10% discount card provided for the restaurant on the ground floor. Lisätietoja

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location was excellent. It was very close to old town Rhodes, the bus station, and the beach. The rooms were also very clean and quiet.

As the name suggests this hotel is ideally placed in the centre of the main town, with plenty of shops/restuarants near by. Beach/harbour is only a few hundred metres away. If you are into gambling the casino is directly opposite the hotel. While it wasn't the height of luxury, it was clean, in a good location and with helpful and polite staff. The room was sparsely furnished but everything worked and the bed was comfortable.

Good value hotel (at least low season). In town centre, so some traffic and other noise. Rooms very good and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast (sausage, bacon, eggs etc available) by continental standards!

My only concern was that on a few long distance calls to me from Canada did not get through. In one case the operator told the person to call back in 5 minutes because they were busy on their cell phone

Great location. Fantastic price, especially off season. Tons of free street parking. Unbelievable desk staff. Helpful. Nice. Friendly. Tons of free wireless internet in the lobby area. They also have computers for those without laptops. Hotel restaurant is good too.

Vi stannade bara en natt på City center hotell då vi skulle fortsätta nästa dag till Leros. Vi hade betalat för frukost men eftersom katamaranen gick tidigt på morgonen sa vi till när vi checkade in att vi inte skulle hinna äta frukost. Vi fick ett otrevligt svar att "det hinner ni nog", det är en bit att gå ner till hamnen så vi ville inte komma för […] sent. När vi lämnade hotellet 5 minuter innan frukosten började (den var redan uppdukad) satt receptionspersonalen helt ointresserad av att vi gick därifrån. insgesamt angenehme Tage. Wenn auch dem Hotel etwas mehr Komfort fehlt (kleine Zimmer) waren wir mit Service, Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit des Personal und Frühstücksangebot durchaus zufrieden. Gutes Preis - / leistungsverhältnis!

Vi bodde här en vecka i mitten på april. Har inte mycket att klaga på. Rummet (Superior) var helt okej med fungerande aircondition och vi hade en rymlig balkong samt badkar i vårat rum. Frukosten ingick i priset och den var god med både varm och kall mat. Möjligen var det lite buller från gatan men absolut inget som vi störde oss på. Läget var helt […] perfekt! Bra läge mellan östra och västra stranden+ nära många restauranger + lagom långt till Gamla stan, ca 15 min promenad. En del trafikbuller på morgonen. Rummet var alltid välstädat och fräscht, personalen trevlig och hjälpsam.God frukost.
