Good hotel, very good breakfast buffet. Hall ways are loud because they are all tile so there can be a lot of room noise. Front desk staff was not overly friendly, but they were OK. Great location.

I stayed at this hotel several times in the same trip. It is right on the South of Spain Coast and has good beaches and is a good location to venture out from on other excursions. the hotel is a little too much noise from the hall ways as they are all in tile and I didn't find the front desk people all the friendly, although they were adequate. The hotel is nice, Part of a 3 hotel complex. The beds were a little hard but still comfortable. The front desk staff were nice but very helpful when you asked questions. We stayed at Sol Don Pablo during mid November. We had mixed feelings about the facilities we had to use through the hotel. the wifi was quite poor despite paying for premium use inside our rooms. The gym could have used a few touch ups ie the treadmill could have actually worked and the weight machines needed replacement paddings. The buffet dinner […] was definitely not worth 22 euros and would highly recommend getting some local cheaper and better quality food locally. Spa lounge was very expensive so didn't bother going. The room itself seemed as if it needed a bit of updating. The decor was quite 70's style and out dated but they were well kept. I would pay special attention to the linen and one of ours had a cigarette hole in them. There is no personal regulation of aircon which we didn't like so we left the door open all night to ventilate the room. Staff were quite nice and knowledgable of the area. They did have a lot of extra excursions that the hotel could help arrange for you which was very nice. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable had a great view from the 9th floor. Just returned after staying for a week in Sol Don Pablo. This hotel is well situated, directly across from the beech, has a lot of neighboring restaurants and shops. The hotel is welcoming, clean and has great food and entertainment. We would return and would highly recommend this hotel.

Very easy to get to from the airport, 20 euros in a taxi. Hotel staff were very good. Great beach location and plenty of shops and restaurants. We went half board and the food was always plentiful and good. Great value.

Had a great time and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. It was very clean with great restaurant area and loads of public areas for sitting and relaxing. We only had breakfast here, but it was very typical of buffet breakfasts around the world, loads of choice, good quality, but very busy, but it was high season. The bedroom was lovely, […] spacious, clean with a massive bed. Great balcony with side sea views and being high up, got a great view. The bathroom was fab, much better than my shower at home! We were on the 9th floor, the top one, which with a decent lift system was no problem at all, in fact was probably better, lower floors was always full by the time it got to them! Great location with loads of restaurants to choose from. Best for us was the volero on the beach, great steaks and salads. Great pool area with plenty of sun-beds.Opposite beach and well located for shops and restaurants. Some rooms very noisey as they overlook the outdoor stage with entertaiment on every night until 12.00pm

We used this hotel for a 5 night break. We requested two neighbouring rooms which we were allocated (emailed hotel ourselves). We were a party of four girls aged 30-40yrs old and found the hotel to be a very good standard. The Don Marco is on the same site which means you benefit by accessing all the hotel pools. The Don Pablo is 9 storys high and we […] were on the 8th floor which was fine. The glass door and windows onto the balcony are pretty dated and only single panes of glass - secured only by a latch lock but this didn't seem a security issue for us on the 8th floor as we made use of the safe. The restaurant/breakfast facility was excellent with lots of variety from cereals, pancakes, full hot breakfast, fruits, juice and hot drinks. Everything and more that you could want. The pool areas and hotel cleanliness were superb. All staff were lovely and welcoming. We also saw a lifeguard notice a guest with mobility problems and he kindly went out of his way to offer assistance. We had a problem with the bathroom door handle but when we reported it someone came to look at it immediately. (Although the problem did reoccur but we decided to just leave it) as we could manage to put up with it. All in all a great hotel in a good location over looking the beach. This is an older hotel but look past that and it was very clean and well run .Food was plentiful with good selection ,we were half board. We had pool and lateral sea view room which has sun morning in summer this would keep room cool , maid cleaned and changed towels everyday.Champagne requested for birthday and this was not charged to room.

For a hotel built in the 80s it would appear it has kept the naff decor, meaning it was slightly disappointing for the amount paid. There was a cigarette butt on the floor as we entered the room and the bathroom wasn't as clean as it could have been. We didn't rate it as a four star hotel, although we thought that if you have kids it would be more suitable […] with activities and large pools. The location was ok although be prepared for a steep climb up to the main town area. Son Don Pablo is one of 3 Son Don Hotels sharing facilities (pools, restaurants, spa, etc) in Torremolinos. It's opposite the beach, close to plenty of restaurants, beach bars, shops, supermarkets, etc, and it's a short taxi ride from Malaga airport. It has a number of pools to choose from and plenty of sunbeds for use (even though people still reserve […] them and may not even use them). The pool area was cleaned every morning and I saw the maintenance guy check the water quality daily. The pool side was also re-painted mid week, even though it wasn't that shabby. The hotel staff were all very helpful and displayed excellent customer service and the animation guys were very inclusive, asking everyone in 5 or 6 languages to join in the activities. (Archery, pool volleyball, darts, aerobics, yoga....) The room was a decent size, cleaned thoroughly every day and I was very impressed with the standard of the bathroom. It only had a shower - but that's perfect for me. I didn't use any of the restaurants so am unable to comment on the food quality. Hotel is more traditional in design, but extremely comfortable and inviting. It was nice to have a balcony that overlooked the water. Jag har bott på detta hotell 6 ggr. under jul/nyår. En smygande försämring har märkts under åren. Luften i de rum jag haft har varit dålig. Har alltid tvingas ha balkongdörren något öppen pa natten. Man bygger nu om men information om detta såg jag inte till, om man nu bortser från ombyggnaden av matsalen. Matsalen har varit en pärla. Trist at personlig betjening i resepsjon, de første en møter og nøkkelservice, er lite interesert i gjestenes velvare opplevlse. De kunne lære service av egne rengjørings- og restorangpersonalet. El colchon era imposible. Los carisimosdesayunos y las cenas malisimos ademas la informacion no es buena nos enteramos de que las bebidas agua y cocacola no estaban incluidas en la informacion de precios de la entrada del restaurante no lo decia

Het personeel die bij de bediening rond loopt zijn rond uit onbeschoft. Een lag of een een vatzoenlijk gebaar zit er dij de meeste van hen niet bij. Als je niet te drinken neemt dan zijn ze kort af nemen ze de glazen met veel tam tam van tafel en maken extra geluit bij het afruimen. Het eten was niet altijd even smakelijk en warm.

Jeg kom til et flott hotell som var meget behagelig å bo på. Rent og pent og en flott bygning. God service og hyggelige mennesker. Opplevde meget god service utreisedagen da jeg skulle reise videre meget sent. Hadde da mulighet til å benytte et hotellrom på kvelden for dusj og å stelle meg. Reiser gjerne tilbake dit. Dette var et bra hotell litt nedenfor sentrum av Torremolinos. Vennlig personale, rent og pent. Fine bassengområder med solsenger. Aktiviteter man kan delta i på dagtid og underholdning av varierende kvalitet på kveldstid. Vi var fornøyde med vårt opphold her.

Hôtel très bien situé. Toujours de la place autour des piscines. Une équipe d'animation dynamique et des spectacles de qualité. Quelques points négatifs: les chambres sont mal insonorisées, l'eau est payante à table ainsi que le wifi dans la chambre (28 € pour une semaine).
