We recently stayed here from 15/02-17/02/12.There is a security check -in where you show your confirmation and next to that you park up.We arrived for 15.00 check in time at a well built timber structured reception area with an appealing log fire. There were no queues and we were seen straightaway.The staff that attended were extremely helpful and after […] all checks were complete we were soon on our way to our cabin.It's important to get you to your room quickly because you can access the park from now as your tickets are now valid and you will still get a few hours on your arrival day.You are given a four digit code for the second barrier to use during your stay.From the barrier to our cabin was about a two minute drive through open woods.This is a private estate and secure.Each section of the ranch is clearly marked and each cabin within that section is also clearly marked.The plan you are given is an easy read.Each section has a breakfast cabin situated at entry for your breakfast to be collected each morning from 7.30am.These breakfast bags usually consist of 1lt fresh Orange juice,1lt milk,your choice of tea ,coffee or hot chocolate sachets,some croissants,brioche,french baguette and a handful on condiments such as fruit jams and chocolate spread. We brought our own cereals from the UK.Just a word on the breakfast charge.This will be an add on charge from 29/03. Each cabin have their own drive so your walk inside is a short one.Our cabin was a standard type and had the basic needs for our stay.The kitchen had a dishwasher, electric cooker, kettle, fridge, microwave and sink area and drainer. On your welcome paper sheet there is a series of phone numbers for extra linen so if you are not happy with one cushion phone them with the cabin phone and they will bring it to you pronto.They have a 24hr mobile service around the estate. Our second stay at DCR and we love it, definitely going back!

the cottage we stayed in was very damp, smelly and mouldy, the location and idea is great and i saw some newer cottages which should be much nicer inside and cleaner.

If you want basic self catering for visiting Disney this is great. It's clean and has everything you need for food prep and sleeping which is all you need if you are spending most of your time in the park. Unfortunately, depending where your cabin is, you need to drive to get to the pool, restaurant etc so, if you have teenagers who want to go off for […] a bit maybe it's not for you. Breakfast is good. You collect it from the bottom of your drive in the morning and includes croissants, bread, spreads, tea, coffee, hot chocolate,milk and juice etc. We had however, booked for 5 and, for some reason, they would only give us 4 croissants which meant mummy had to go without. That was a shame as we couldn't buy any more. The other disappointing thing is that, on check out day you have to leave before 11 and can't use the pool or farm after that time and there are no exsemptions. That was a shame as we had many hours travelling ahead of us and it would have made all the difference (Especially as, when we left, there was a total of 5 people in the pool so, it really wouldn't have made any difference!) Dissapointing long wait at check in, cabin was warm and cosy, did smell a bit and could do with a refit!! breakfast was excellent.
