"Cozy hotel in Williams"
Canyon Country Inn was very cozy and personal hotel. Room was clean and nicely decorated. We hiked one day in Grand Canyon and Williams is a place with decent priced hotels and inns- but within good distance from Grand Canyon. This Inn was located in good place in Williams- you can walk to any place within the village. Breakfast was OK.

Take google streetview and go around the hotel.... you might find it a little uninteresting.... But... don't let you fool... small nice very comfy rooms.
We were just passing thru and needed a place to stay. Hotel was adequate and convenient. Didn't bother with 'continental breakfast' as it was minimal and mostly extra carbs that we didn't need.

Found the 'Country Inn' more of a 'Concrete Inn'. Stayed two nights at this Inn just recently and we were more then disappointed. Dusty, little privacy, and surrounded by concrete. No country there

"Forgot to leave the key for us"
The management seemed a bit clueless about the train from LA to Williams Junction, which many people arrive on. Since we got in at 5.10 am they promised to leave a key to our room on the counter. And forgot, so we arrived in a foot of snow at 5.30 in the morning. No key. Fortunately our taxi driver took us to another motel nearby who gave us breakfast. "Meh. Nothing Special."
Made a reservation 2 months in advance but the room we had reserved was not available. Breakfast selection was fairly good for a lower end motel. Good location, but overpriced for a mediocre room that was not nearly as quaint as it was portrayed online. Recommendation: stay elsewhere.
Comfortable and Friendly Atmosphere ... This was my second time back and I will be back again.

"tacky, comfy but in noisy area"
we stayed 2 nights there and quickly realised the hotel was way too close to the railway lines (trains running all night and using horns all night too !) as well as a busy road. So we didn't sleep well despite the marvelously comfortable bed and the teddy bears looking after us in the room. The lady welcoming you and the weird decoration going on (especially […] on the upstairs rooms) made this inn special though and you get plenty of recommendations and the feeling you're a little bit more in a bed and breakfast than in an inn. "CCI - Bed and Breakfast Type Atmosphere"
The location and room were ideal as it was downtown Williams and walking distance to the shops and resturants. We spent two nights there while visiting the GC and Sedona. The only complaint was the water pressure in the shower was really low, low. "Good choice in Williams"
Small but clean room. Ok breakfast. Nice porch. Good choice in Williams. Quite a few trains travel through Williams. Hence wake up call for all hotel rooms in Williams were set to ~06:00 am. Train horns are quite impressive!

Had a very tough time finding this hotel. Could not locate it on GPS. Had to ask at few locations to get here. It was night when we reached there and probably that's the reason why we could not locate it easily. This hotel looks more like a house. But it was comfortable. I think it was a bit expensive. Has complimentary and good breakfast.

We really enjoyed staying at this inn. It was comfortable, easy to get to and it had the at home feeling. The town of Williams reminded us of a place you would want to live because everyone was so nice. we walked around town and felt very safe.

Since I live in Phoenix, AZ I have stayed at a couple of in expensive motels in Williams to stay for an overnight stay whenever guests come into town to see Grand Canyon. I figured why not spend a little more at a "country inn". It's not quite the place I had imagined. The ''deluxe room' was not so deluxe. There were no amenities, for instance hair […] dryer, nor complimentary shampoo and conditioner. Mismatched towels. I felt like I was staying at grandma's house. Well the bed was so uncomfortable I didn't get ANY sleep. My husband said to give him four hours to sleep and we would head home. Well I woke him up after four hours and we headed home. "Canyon Coutry Inn on main street highway 66"
This is really a motel - no gathering room as a bed and breakfast. Breakfast served across the street at another inn mainly motel fair. Motel sits between two "highways" Route 66 with great evening entertainment - "shoot out" at 7:00 on the street and another busy highway that air conditioner mostly drowned out train and highway truck noise.. "Friendly staff"
The Canyon Country Inn is in a great location, the owners and staff are super friendly and helpful. My son and I spent two nights here and were quite pleased with the choice. Even though Williams is a small town, the inn is still located in a great location, walking distance to all restaurants and shops. The continental breakfast is lacking though.

There was no kleenex or shower cap in this unit which was very small but adequate for a one night stay. It was a cramped space, no couch and no place to open luggage or hold it. The breakfast was fine for a continental.

Sadly, we spent 2 nights here. We got in at 10:50 PM and were "welcomed" with a sign telling us not to shower past 11! The bathroom floor was dirty - absolutely gross- and the shower water pressure was non-existent. The towels were mismatched and ragged. We were not given fresh towels or even wash cloths for our second night. The "climate control" that […] the brochure mentioned was a 9 inch box fan perched on top of the microwave and a portable heater on the floor. There was nothing "deluxe" about our room, except that we paid that price. We would have been better off to go elsewhere and pay more, but time did not permit that. The Canyon Country Inn in Williams Arizona is advertised as a bed and Brekfast. There was no brekfast just juice, coffee, toast, bagles and yogert which were served in what appeared to be another bed and brekfast accross te street. The structure was old and painted on the outside to look quaint but it was not like any bed and Brekfast I have seen previously. […] It was like a small hotel with abot10 rooms plus or minus. The bed was nice and sheets clean. The shower put out only a trickel of water which was full of rust. The room had not bben properly cleaned for some time. "Disappointed"
The people were nice enough, but the room was very small and the sheets were either stained or just plain dirty. There was a long black hair under the covers. Thought the ceiling fan was going to fall. Paid for two nights but only stayed one.

Our stay was July 3 and 4. The staff was very helpful when our plans changed and we needed to stay an extra night. They worked with us to make sure we had the same room both nights on very short notice. The room was very comfortable, although the TV was old, and the remote didn't work, we were in town to go to the Grand Canyon, so it wasn't a big deal. The room size for 3 adults was very good. We got to the hotel at 10:00 and our key with a very friendly note was waiting for us. We never did see anyone at the front desk the next morning. The room itself had peeling wallpaper, ragged lamps, and somewhat dingy bedspreads. The bed springs made noises in the night. The room was not very clean: dust on […] tv stand, half eaten muffin on floor, dingy (maybe dirty) looking toilet bowl. dirt in corner of bathroom. In the morning when lots of people were taking showers, there was only a dribble from the shower head. It was impossible to take a shower at that time. We enjoyed our stay at Canyon Country Inn. The hospitality was great. It was not a chain hotel and so it had some features not found typically ie teddy bear on the bed The outside porch with table and chairs was delightful. The hotel room was nice. All amenities were there but was not very clean. The rugs and bed are needed to be more clean. The staffs are good and breakfast was very good. Its good what they are providing with the price but the cleanliness.

Williams has lots of hotels but all of them are old. I doubt we would have had better accommodations at one of the other hotels in town. The place was small but the owner was friendly. Adequate bedding. We could have used another towel and washcloth. Breakfast across the street was inadequate. The fruit in the bowl was old - one black banana and 2 mushy […] nectarines. The Canyon Country Inn is a quaint hotel located on historic Route 66 in Williams, Az. Everything you need, from souvenirs and convenience stores to restaurants, is within a short walk. One other nice feature about Williams is that around 7 p.m. on summer evenings, there is a gunfight on the street. It's funny and great entertainment if you've got kids. We stayed here in June of 2011 and couldn't have been happier with the hotel. The staff is friendly, the place is comfortable and clean, and within easy walking distance to the tourist district of Williams. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

"County Canyon Inn - Good for a short stay"
The room was small, just enough room for the queen sized bed. It was clean and the bathroom had been recently remodeled. It was good for an overnite stay (as compared to Motel 6 or Super 8). Breakfast consisted of fruit, yogurt, bagels and toast. Minimal but sufficient. Had a little trouble finding the Inn as it was on the other side of a one way street.
