i was very satisfied & the service was great. there was no hassle which is what i really liked. it was convenient to things we wanted to go see & do. the price was great to !!!

Hotel was older and smelled of smoke and musty throughout. hotel was in North Myrtle Beach, conventent to the HWY but not so much the beach. Staff was overall plesant BUT the main manager was not, had to change my reservation and he was very rude not only to myself but also to the hotels.com staff (I was present during the conversation)

The hotel was tucked in behind a larger hotel....difficult to see from route 17. A dog was barking in the room across the hall. Some people were moving to anothe room due to the noise coming from another room. I checked in late and got up early..........it was adequate for my purposes.
True enough you get what you pay for. It was inexpensive and decent enough to lay your head but other than that...... the service was less than adequate. One front desk clerk was rude even before we checked in because I had the nerve to let her know we were going to be arriving late. another, or maybe the same one, told me to use the internet provided […] by the hotel next door because LaQuinta was working on their's. The place smelled of stale cigarettes, although advertised as "completely nonsmoking". Plus there was the pleasant odor of smelly pet. The television was MAYBE 19". We had a problem with the smoke detector in our room & were told "the maintenance staff is gone for the night & the batteries are locked up." She then told us to take the smoke detector down &"unplug it" the room was nice, clean, comfortable but the service needs work. this was at 7:00pm, not the middle of the night.

Hotel old and dated. Service was good and and room clean. As in older hotels very noisy with doors slamming etc. If looking for someplace to sleep, this location will do. But, if looking for location to beach, attractions ,etc. not the place to stay.

The hotel needs work in the bathrooms as far as fixtures and repairs. The sheets were almost paper thin and seemed like they should have been replaced a long time ago. I would not want to stay here again.....
"My Stay During Spring Break"
The hotel was fine. The continental breakfast was tasty and our room was nicely kept. The only issue I had was that when we came back to our room after they had finished cleaning it, the dirty towels and trash was left next to the door and that was disgusting. Other than that, it was wonderful and I would stay again.

It's not the Ritz, but if your on a budget and want to be close to the beach, then it's a good hotel. They are pet friendly too, which was important to us. The location is also good with lots of great restaurants and things to do within a few minutes drive.

I checked in the night of February 5th and found the hotel was decent. I stayed on the second floor and my visit was fine. My room did require me to air it out and the shower didn't quite have enough pressure, but overall my stay was drama-free. I would stay here again since the room was not the main attraction and the beach and restaurants were. Based on the price this was a great hotel. It was clean and in good condition. The breakfast was very good. I visit the area often so I will be staying there again.
Booked a 6 night stay for our employees, their room was in bad shape: bugs, bathroom dirty, complimentary breakfast a total joke. You get what you pay for at this hotel. The rates are very inexpensive, so the basic nature of the hotel's offering was not a surprise. Only complaint was that the bed was not so comfortable due to both the matress quality and the quality of the linens. As a result did not get a restful sleep. Friendly service.

I have stayed in plenty of La Quinta's before so I thought this one would be as nice as the others. Not at all the case! From the moment we arrived I noticed that the hotel is not kept up very well. When we got in our room there was pee on the toilet seat which made me question whether the room had been cleaned at all. I called the front desk and they […] did not want to clean it but they came up within 10 minutes and cleaned the toilet. The whole time I just felt like the room was not clean or well kept. We stayed 2 nights and the maides never came to make up the beds. The breakfast was horrible, there was only one waffle maker, raisen bran, and mini banana muffins. If your looking for a cheaper room and don.t have to be on the beach, this is the hotel for you. Great value compared to what else is out there. Nothing fancy but clean and cheap. I was staying for business.

All in all, it was quite a decent stay. My only gripe is the condition of the bathtub/shower upon our arrival. Due to us arriving close to midninght, I did'nt bother calling the front desk, I simply cleaned out the dirt ring in the tub with the complementary shampoo.
