Location.
The Ria Park Garden Hotel is housed in a four-storey white building, set 900 metres from the golden sands of the Algarve's Vale do Garrão Beach, five kilometres south of Almancil, and four kilometres west of Quinta do Lago. The town of Almancil, with good shopping and restaurants, is five kilometres from the hotel, while the historic town of Loulé is 10 kilometres away. Six golf courses lie within four kilometres of the hotel.
Hotel Features.
The Ria Park Garden Hotel boasts a pink, marble-floored lobby with cushioned rattan seating and an adjacent solarium featuring a fabric-draped ceiling and a display of Portuguese ceramics. A family pool and a children's pool provide warm-weather outdoor swimming in a floral garden setting, complete with palm and pine trees, potted orange trees, and a rock waterfall. The pool complex includes a sundeck and lawn furnished with cushioned lounge chairs.
Guests can enjoy the facilities of the health club, which includes fitness equipment, a spa tub, a hydrotherapy pool, and a Turkish bath. The hotel also houses floodlit tennis courts, a pool table and table tennis, and offers organised activities during the day. The hotel spa features an indoor heated pool, a range of massage treatments, classical and Asian, along with reflexology and aromatherapy. In addition, there is a fully-equipped gym.
The hotel restaurant offers traditional Portuguese and international dishes, including fresh fish, and light meals are available at the poolside bar during the summer. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby for a surcharge.

The 109 guestrooms at the Ria Park Garden Hotel all have balconies and feature ceramic-tiled floors, coordinated, patterned fabrics, and contemporary furnishings. All are equipped with climate control, satellite television, wireless Internet access (for a fee), and minibars. The marble bathrooms include hair dryers, bidets, and complimentary toiletries.

Olin tyytyväinen hotellihuoneistoon ja varustelutasoon. Halusin tilavan huoneiston ja hyvätasoisen keittiön sekä lämmityksen ja sellaiset sainkin. Matalan sesongin aikana hotelli oli myös hyvin rauhallinen. Lähellä oli sopivasti palveluita, ja vaikka bussit Albufeiraan kulkivat melko harvoin, se ei haitannut. Vilkasta yöelämää ja katuelämää tai runsaita ostosmahdollisuuksia kaipaavalle hotelli ei sopisi, mutta rauhaa ja upean rannan läheisyyttä arvostavalle sen sijaan erinomaisesti.

The nearest beach is Vale do Garrão, 900 meters (984 yards) from the hotel, with complimentary shuttle service available from May through October. Unlike the western Algarve, where cliffs interrupt beaches, sand extends unimpeded for miles in this area along the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel provides complimentary lounge chairs, umbrellas, and towels on the beach. Independent operators rent water sports gear on the beach during the summer.
The hotel includes two lighted tennis courts (surcharges) and rents bicycles.
Six golf courses lie within five km (three mile) of the hotel, two within the Vale do Lobo development to the west and four within the Quinta do Lago development to the east. The hotel arranges for golf pro to provide private lessons (surcharges) for guests. A horse stable two km (1.25 mile) north of the hotel offers horseback riding, and a gun club is 1.25 km (0.75 mile) away.

Just 15 minutes from the airport in Faro, the small town of Almancil is typical of the Algarve and known for its local pottery. However, Almancil is best known for being close to the top-end resorts Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, which offer luxury accommodation, top-notch food, and excellent golf.

My family (five in total incl. 3kids) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ria Park. The adjoining rooms were spacious and comfortable + hotel facilities were excellent esp the indoor pool which the kids adored. I stay in hotels all the time and I have rarely met such genuinely courteous and helpful staff - even our kids were remarking on how friendly the […] staff were. Also, we had an early departure flight + the hotel kindly provided and excellent breakfast for us one hour before the official start time - this was hugely appreciated by all. Pleasant hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast buffet. Car recommended with parking off -strret often needed. Closer to beaches than other hotels in vicinity.

"Wonderful Hotel with friendly staff"
The hotel itself was great, but what really left such a positive impression with me was the friendliness of the hotel stuff. They would really go out of their way to help you make your stay as comfortable as possible. Many thanks to Manuel the bar keeper at the lobby bar! The hotel is really close to the beach (about 10 minutes to walk) and the hotel […] additionally runs a shuttle there every 30minutes. Nevertheless, it might be worthwhile to rent a car, because there are not many restaurants or a supermarket near by. The hotel restaurants and the restaurants/bars at the beach take full advantage of their monopoly position and charge exorbitant prices for their food. That being said, the breakfast buffet at the Ria Park Garden -which is included in the room rate- is fantastic and I typically only needed a small snack for lunch. "Nice hotel for summer holidays"
The hotel is very nice with a nice pool area and garden. Rooms are big and well equipped. A little confusing what is Sea View and Garden view. Stayed in two rooms, supposedly garden view. One with garden view one in a villa below the hotel. Not sure any of the rooms have sea view, perhaps on top floor. Service is generally good and polite, sometimes […] a little slow. In the reception they can get a little wise, especially the manager there, when queistioned. WHen I asked why I got a room in a villa and not garden view in the hotel as I had requested and asked about at check in they responded I should have figured out myself that the rooms in the main building were all booked and that the villa room was considered as a garden view room. When the room key was deactivated and I called reception to come down with a new one they called a boy away driving a bus instead of sending someone from the reception down with one, took about 30 minutes.
