"pool, hot tub"
The hotel was convenient for our one night stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The shower was hot and powerful. The staff was friendly. The only downside was that the pool and the hot tub could have used a good cleaning.

the only problem we had was blankets had white stains on it and sheets were yellowed..other than those it was a great motel for the price nice jacuzzi

This was a very clean hotel. It appears that they are renovating or have recently renovated as the carpets were new as well as the interior of our room was newly painted, etc. Pool was clean and well kept. I woulld definately stay again!

This is a nice hotel for the price. Our room was nice with fridge and microwave. Had to go to lobby for coffee. The pool was beautiful!!! As well as the hottub. There's only 29 rooms and some have smoking permitted. I dont know if the rooms are "mingled" together, but my only complaint was that the hotel smelled of smoke when you first walked in. The […] hallway didn't have A/C so it was hot smoke smell =) But we had AC in our rooms. We didnt see much in the surrounding area as we only stayed here to visit our son that lived 1/2 hour away. "Great for quick stays!!"
This hotel was great, checked in at about 2am with no problem, hostess was very kind, a little hard to understand but very nice. Room was nothing fancy, no coffee in the room but have it in the lobby. Downside is the bar attached to the hotel which was still very loud at 2am but my room must have been well insulated as I didn't hear any loud music. We needed a place to stay after a long drive, great rate, nice room, only was there 9 hours but had a good sleep, left for Albertville in the morning. Will be back in the future for sure.
"You get what you pay for"
This is a cheap hotel and felt like it. The room smelled like smoke even though it was a no smoking room. The beds were as comfortable as expected. The attached bar was very loud. I was just passing through and needed a quick nights sleep, and that is all I expected and all that I got from this hotel.

My daughter and I wanted to have a mother daughter night. So we reserved a room here at America's Best Valu. It is a small Motel with a resturant/bar. The front desk person was nice-hard to understand. Room was ok-small for we really didn't need much. The pool was our main concern. It was a heated pool anice size and there was a jacuzzi with a timer […] on it. Overall. Motel was a good spot if you just need a place to crash. Location was nice. "Clearwater Hotel"
This was very reasonably priced considering it had a pool and hot tub. However the hot tub didn't work. I swear the info said it had a continental breakfast, but they did not. Otherwise it was easy on/easy off the interstate and very quiet. Staff was very friendly, including the maid.

We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend the Americas Best Value Inn. in Clearwater, MN to anyone looking to stay in that area. The pool and hot tub were great. We will be staying at this motel in the summer of 2011. ALF - Bartlesville, OK

Once we got past the front desk the nightmare started. The room key required multiple try's we even had to have it replaced during our stay. Walking into the room it smelled damp with a order or smell I couldn't figure out. Poor lighting Orange in color almost as if to hide the stains in everything. "August 2010 stay"
Hotel is older, and is now a "mom & Pop" place. Check-in had us in a non-smoiking rm, next door and across from smoking rooms. Doors have 1" clearance from floor, and ordors seep into room easily. We were moved w/no problem. Toliet backed up, and when told, we felt they shrugged it off. However, they did allow us to use the Pool area's restroom. Hotel […] is very clean, pool and hot tub very clean, however building is old and repairs to walls, etc are very evident. BEDS - horrible. Double bed is called a queen, and they are hard and pillows uncomfortable. Across from a Truck Stop/Bakery/Restaurant that is a surprize! Incredible bakery and great servings. Lisätietoja
