Ok perus hotelli 5 min kävelymatkan päässä vanhan kaupungin aukiolta. Pyysimme henkilökuntaa säätämään lämmitystä huoneessamme koska emme itse saaneet ilmastointia toimimaan, lupasivat tehdä sen, mutta mitään ei kuitenkaan tapahtunut.

Hyvällä paikalla jokinäkymin, lyhyt kävelymatka Namesti Republikylle, jossa Palladiumin ostari ja paljon kauppoja. Helppo kulkea moneen suuntaan, keskeisellä paikalla. Runsas ja monipuolinen aamiainen, tosin alemman tason baarista nouseva tupakansavu hiukan häiritsi aamupalan nauttimista. Siisti ja tilava huone, kylpyhuone kookas ja amme iso. Sijainti lähellä jokirantaa. Rannan kävelyteitä pitkin helppo kävellä esim Kaarlensillalle. Myöskin muita reittejä vanhankaupungin keskustaan oli helppo löytää. Pidä kuitenkin kartta taskussa. Ystävällinen henkilökunta, hyvää palvelua! Ei luxushotelli, mutta oikein hyvä! Monipuolinen, hyvä aamiainen. Huone siisti, ei melua. Ikkuna oli kadulle päin, muttei haitannut. Lähellä ihanaa Vltava-jokea, n. 10 min kävelymatka ydinkeskustaan, myös ratikkapysäkki lähellä. Suosittelen!

Hotelli on mukavasti rauhallisessa paikassa, mutta kuitenkin ihan muutaman korttelin päässä uusista ostoskeskuksista ja myös keskustasta. Huoneet olivat isoja ja ylemmistä kerroksista jokinäkymä. Aamupala oikein hyvä ja suosittelen etenkin mukavan rapeaksi paistettua pekonia :) Lobby baarikin löytyy. Suosittelen lämpimästi.

Excellent location alongside the old town of Prague - within walking distance of almost everything. The hotel was very clean and quiet. We had a good and comfortable stay.

The hotel itself was a nice average+ hotel; nothing fancy, but everything functioned well. Rooms were comfortable and clean, had everything we needed for our stay, especially air condition as it was mid summer when we were in Prague. Breakfast was ok; it worked best when you were early bird. One morning we got there around 9.30 and there were no plates […] left. No one brought new plates during our breakfast so we used coffee cup plates for our breakfast. However, we managed. The absolute plus was location of the hotel. It was very handy; walking distance to Palladium Shopping mall and other shops, the Old Town and other sights as well as public traffic stations (subway and trams). 1: You have to book the top floor suit to go to the roof top cafe, but this is not mentioned before booking. Still, they put those pictures on the web. I think it is deceiving. 2:Cezh ppl generally have no service mind, but since the WIFI in this hotel is really really bad. The bathroom was clean and room service was good. The iron we requested from recpetion was useless after being plugged in for twenty minutes could still be touched by hand.The main gripe we had was the size of the room. with two single beds a sideboard two dining chairs and a suitcase rack there was barley room to move about.Given the price we paid […] for our four night stay it was extremely disappointing.The breakfast had room for improvement with supplys not replaced when empty. hotel was good. old furtniture and building.. room very spacious but definetaly needs an update.. the staff were very helpful location of the hotel was great.. 1 block from the river.. you can walk to main shopping area and touristic site. for the price we paid which included breakfast this was a great location. and decent hotel

I just did a quick week scouting out Budapest and Prague for when I take my wife their next year. First night in Prague I went with a two-star-ish place and walked down by the river and noticed the Clarion. My hotel was a bit noisy so I got online and looked for a new place for the next night - saw the Clarion for only $20USD more, and only two blocks […] away (it was lousy weather and DID NOT want to relocate using tram/subway). I'll jump to end here for a second.. maybe it was an off-season, or internet special, or some other oddity, but I paid a two-star price for what I feel is a four-star hotel. Check-staff, very professional and courteous. Room - med to large, immaculate, mini-balcony (moot, freezing rain). SMALL plumbing gap below commode, which I only noticed while taking a bath in the wonderful full-sized tub. Breakfast buffet one of the best in my dozens Euro's over the years. Location: too funny.. I rode the subway and trams all over the place. When finished at the Old Town Center Square? I was flipping my map up and down trying to figure out how many connections to make back to the Clarion. Location: tops! One block from a tram line, 10 minutes walk from a metro station, one block from the river for easy foot navigation, but set back enough from traffic for quiet at night. Breakfast buffet: what a spread! Fruits, meats, eggs, pastries, veggies, cheeses, great fresh bread/rolls. Tea good, coffee: well... Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Easy walking distance of Old Town & Jewish quarter attractions, and for walkers, a pleasant hike from almost anywhere you'd want to visit. There are five things that I look for in a hotel and I chose this hotel for that reason. 1. good reviews - most important - the search for a hotel can begin and end here 2. good location - I do not want to spend alot on transportation 3. breakfast included - a good way to start the day - one meal you don't have to worry about 4. free internet in room […] or lobby - If it isn't free, it is expensive 5. restaurant - this is for that day or night when you are hungry but too tired to leave the hotel and it does happen. My favorite thing about this hotel was the staff at the front desk. They were always so kind and helpful. It made my trip easy and more enjoyable because of it. The hotel is about 10 minute walking distance to Old Town. It is also 20 minute walking distance from the Praha Hbf Train Station. Not too many restaurants in the vicinity. The morning buffet is pretty good. A wide selection to choose from.

Walking distance to all. Tram and bus one street from the hotel. The breakfast was wonderful value. THe one issue was the Wifi didn't work in the room with the iPhone, the signal was good but would not work. Worked fine in the lobby on the different network. Overall a great value for walking to most sites.

Enjoyed a 4 night stay early September 2012. Made to feel welcome. Allocated a corner bedroom on the first floor, room 106. This was well equipped for the price and very quiet. (Hardly heard any other guests from the room, let alone the traffic or passers by outside.) Breakfast was good, with the usual range of cereal, cooked, cold meats, cheeses, breads. […] pastries etc. Plenty of staff around stocking up the breakfast foods and clearing and re-setting tables. (No sign of issues raised about the breakfast service in other reviews.) Location was great, being only a short stroll from most of the Old Town sights. We walked to most of the places we wanted to see appart from 1 day when bought 24 hour public transport tickets and made the most of it by visiting the outer sights such as Troja, riding the 22 tram, experiencing the metro and the funicular railway. The hotel also has a baggage store which was helpful for us as our flight home was not until the evening of the last day. Transport to the airport was from a point a few minutes walk away from the hotel, just off Republic Square. Only 130 Kr/ person and a half hourly departure schedule. The hotel is a good installation in a very good neighboorhood in Prague, near to many important touristic places in the city,,,but the real assistace of the staff members for the tourist is bad and they have serious problemems with the english language.

AC did not really work, 2 twin beds pushed together do not make a queen bed. Tiny room (that was specified on site). Good location. Hotel seems old and a bit rundown.

How bad could a hotel be? Bad enough that you pay in advance and then don't stay there and move to another hotel. Sheets were unclean, room was in poor maintenance and to top it off the carpet was quite moist. I switched hotels to the Alchymist near the US Embassy (loved it!) for only 40 more Euros a night.

Prague is one place you must visit sooner or later. Superb social scene, fantastic buidlings everywhere you go. A walkers paradise but public transport always available. Great river trips and loads of good quality pubs, the locals love their beer.

The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included and was a pretty good spread of foods. There was a towel bar in our room that didn't work and the showers were quite lifted and quite slippery to get up and into if you're not careful. Was nice and close to pretty much everything.

The service and friendliness of the staff at the Clarion is to be commended. All requests are responded to promptly and courteously. The location is convenient - close enough to walk to Old Town - and just around the corner to various trams & buses and the terrific Palladium Mall - very handy! Nice hotel; well located. We had a lovely view out of our window to a beautiful building next door and of the river. Very clean. The only downside is there is a very small lobby to the hotel, so it could be inconvenient if you were travelling with a larger group. We booked this hotel for 14 of us & we all thought it was excellent value for money. Lovely breakfast, continental & cooked. It was only a 5 - 6 min walk into the 'Old Town' & 2 mins from the river. Would definately stay here again & recommend to friends & family.

The hotel is in a great location easily being able to walk everywhere within 15mins. The breakfast was a good start to the day. The staff couple use a smile but I think that was indemic of the prague people. The only complain is that our wake up call was 15 mins late which made our trip to the airport a little more rushed that was necessary,
