Booked through Hotels.com although their room rate was identical to if I booked direct and used AAA or AARP. Nice location at intersection of #210 & I-10. Easy to locate with Garmin. Big room - largest hotel room I've used in last 100 hotel visits around NA. Good free breakfast - hot eggs, etc. Will stay there again.

We had a horrible trip getting to California. The staff @ comfort suites was very compassionate to our stress and made things easy. The hotel was clean, and very well tended, the breakfast was delicious, and the beds in the room were comfortable. After a long day at big bear our family drove down the mountain about 15 mins from the base. We had reservations for the 1 night. Alex, the front desk clerk was just terrific and very accomidating. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were perfect , the kids loved it. The room was great very relaxing and EVERYTHING was CLEAN. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was for the price.

Service brought much negativity to our family vacation. I specifially booked two side by side suites through Hotels.com. After spending the day in Big Bear; upon arrival at the hotel, the suites were not side by side which was dissapointing as this was the most important amenity to us. The rep was not apologetic and said in addition to confirming this […] with Hotels.com, I should have called the hotel directly. Later that night, I called down for a cot for my 11 year old daughter and the CSR rudly said they didn't have one but noticed there were additional people in our party. She said I would be charged for extra people and if they were going to be staying, they needed to book a seperate room. I was a little caught off guard by her tone and responded by saying 2 of the people in our party live in the area, we're all bringing in the New Year together, but they're not staying. She again had a rude response about the need for booking another room. A few days later I received a $30 charge which I followed up about. She said it was due to the extra people who stayed with us which I disputed and later received a $10 refund. I didn't realize there was a curfew. Consumers: If you decide to have guests, make sure they leave through the main exit so the rep can see them leave and you're not charged. Also, the entire floor smelled like marajuana and there were multiple guests, in seperate rooms playing extremely loud music. I was afraid to report these issues during my stay because of the rude tone of the CSR. Additionally there were a few in our party that had bug-like bites on our bodies after our stay. This hotel had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. Great pillows, strong, adjustable shower head, mostly comfortable bed (a little hard for my taste), clean and very beautiful lobby, and a great breakfast (hot dishes...not the usual cold pastries!) A great value for the price. Have stayed here before and will be staying again at least 3 to 5 times a year until our son graduates from the University of Redlands.

Would definately stay again. This hotel was right off the freeway with various restaurants within walking distance. Full hot breakfast was included. I would definately recommend and stay again.

We ended up staying at this location, our trip was last minute and it was the place priced the best. When we checked in, it seemed clean at least in the lobby. When we got to the room it smelled muggy so we figured it needed to be aired out. We opened the window and put the air on to see if it would help. The bathroom also smelled stale, almost like […] it was cleaned with a dirty rag. It smelled this way during our whole stay. The rug was also dirty. We accidently spilled water from our ice chest on the carpet and cleaned it up. The towel looked a little dirty after and the carpet turned sticky after. Another incident we had with the hotel was the hotel was very picky at where you ate your free continental breakfast. They would prefer you eat in the breakfast area rather then take it back up to your room. On the 4th day of our stay after taking her breakfast up to the room every day, my mom was approached by a staff member that let her know she had to eat in the breakfast room. We figure so they can monitor how much she was eating?? Not too sure, but have never been in a chain that has a designated area where you have to eat breakfast. On the 3rd night after coming back from a long day, we were stopped by the front desk and were told that there was a note saying we had 3 guests instead of 2 and they would have to charge us every night for that 3rd person staying with us. After letting them know the 3rd guest was only with us 2 nights, they stated they would have to charge 10 dollars more per person a night. Given this was a suite that would hold a max of 4 people.We had agreed to pay the difference, but I felt like they were watching our every move after this incident. Due to the fact that we had booked through hotels.com, we could not cancel and we decided on staying here because the rooms were reasonably priced at the beginning. Very nice -- nicer than other Comfort Inns I've stayed in. Clean. Good coffee!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very good. It was convient to my business meeting. I would recommend it.

Honestly, the room and the bathroom were perfectly fine and sufficient for the one night we were there. The A/C worked very well, and i like it COLD. The beds were comfortable, too. However, when loading up to leave, the room key decided to stop working on the stairwell exit door - I couldn't leave the building right by the room, not exactly convenient. […] I asked the front desk to correct it, didn't work. I walked my stuff to the car, tried to enter through the exterior door near the stairwell, now I couldn't get back in, also not exactly convenient. I again asked the front desk, sorry, can't fix it. But the key still worked on the room - very odd. So, only slight inconveniences with the rooms keys, but otherwise a perfectly nice place to stay and I'd stay there again if I was in the area. The place was clean and well maintained. Close to the freeway and restruants. Nice spread on the breakfast buffet. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Would stay again if in the area.

NIce hotel in the Redlands area for the price. New and clean with a nice pool and a nice breakfast.

The hotel is really nice and comfortable, clean and conveniently located. But the rooms aren't suites, just extended rooms with a loveseat and table in the extra space. Also, they are very strict about the 4 person limit in the room. They even whine about guests you have over for a couple hours. I mean, what's the point of a suite then? HAVE NEVER BEEN DISSAPOINTED IN THIS PLACE THAT IS A RESPITE FROM THE WORLD. I COME HERE REGULARLY WHEN I AM WORKING IN THE AREA AND HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPOINTED.
