Hotellihuone oli hyvänkokoinen ja ihan hyvin sisustettu. Sängyt olivat kohvahkot verrattuna siihen mihin olemme tottuneet. Koska käyntimme oli sesongin ulkopuolella ymmärrettävästi palveluita oli vähemmän ja olimmekin melkein ainoita asukkaita hotellissa, joten rauhallista oli. Netin käyttö onnistui mutkattomasti hotelli tilavassa ja hienossa aulassa. Olisimme tosin toivoneet yhteyttä myös huoneeseen. Allasalueet eivät olleet käytössä, mutta tuskin niitä olisimme tarvinneetkaan. Matka merenrantaan oli ihan kohtuullinen n. 600 metriä. Lämmintä vettä oli käytettävissä rajallisesti, mutta hyvällä organisoinnilla sekin onnistuu ilman ongelmia. Ainut negatiivinen puoli oli, että keittiövarustus oli heikonlainen. Esim. tiskiharjaa, luuttua tai tiskiainetta ei ollut lainkaan. Ruokailuvälineitä oli niukasti. Sijainti ei ole ihan paras mahdollinen, mutta taksi oli helposti saatavilla ja edullinen. Kaikenkaikkiaan mukava ja rauhallinen hotelli.

Mukava, perussiisti ja viihtyisä huoneisto. Sopi mainiosti kahden pariskunnan loma-asunnoksi. Keittiöstä löytyi perusruuanlaittovälineet ja astiat. Hotellin alueella ja läheisyydessä useita ravintoloita kävelymatkan etäisyydellä. Viihtyisä allasalue, tosin aurinkotuoleja voisi olla enemmän. Meillä oli auto käytössä, joten liikkuminen oli helppoa myös muihin isompiin kaupunkeihin (Portimao, Lagos). Suositten henkilöille, jotka arvostavat rauhallista oleskelua.

Hotelli oli lähellä rantaa mikä oli hyvä asia. Myös rantakatu pienineen kaupoineen lähellä. Portimaon keskusta mukavan lähellä. Ainut että lähellä ei ollut suurempia kauppoja joissa hinnat olisi olleet edullisemmat kuin lähikaupassa.

We actually ended up staying for the whole week in the villa. Everything else was sweet but the air conditioning was not able to warm the place up so we did order some firewood. The wood we got was so wet that it took a lot of effort to get it burning and because the fireplace was designed more for looks it didn't really give out a lot of heat. Even so we enjoyed our stay. It was really quiet in January and the golf course was in brilliant condition.

Incredible ocean view from our balcony. Sweet hosts. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Well-kept garden and pool area. Quiet neighborhood. Delicious breakfast came with our room price, and the dinner buffet at their restaurant was a great value too.

This hotel is excellent value with reasonable room rates and conveniently located. The staff are excellent and the service also. The beds in the rooms, however, are very hard and rather uncomfortable. The breakfast is very good and the only suggestion I would make is for the dinner options to include an a la carte menu as well as the buffet. "Luzmar Villas - A warm and friendly welcome"
A peaceful location, a 20 minute walk from Luz beach. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent, lots of choice. I would highly recommend Luzmar Villas.
"OK stay, not memorable"
The hotel is OK, the dinner buffet is overpriced and bland. The hotel certainly lack ambience and feels overal "sad". The satff is nice and efficient. Included breakfast is OK, if not bland. "Less than expected"
Bring your own toiletries; only small bars of soap are provided. Spartan room. Hotels.com should improve the map and directions. We found the hotel by following directions given by a previous guest's review on this site. Don't expect good Internet - no wireless. The hotel has an old computer that keeps restarting. "A Honeymoon Getaway"
Outside of Luz...a bit hard to find but lovely once you're there! A pool and a spaceous room with a balcony. A short walk (or even shorter drive) to the town of Luz. Breakfast could use a bit of work but definitely not terrible by any means. Close to Lagos as well as Sagres. Walls are thin, but we had good neighbours who were very quiet. Un hõtel familial où tout est parfaitement agencé pour un séjour agréable et calme. L'accueil est chaleureux, l'hôtel est merveilleusement situé, ni trop près ni trop loin de la mer avec une vue magnifique sur celle-ci. Les chambres sont très propres, confortables et le rapport qualité/prix est imbattable.

We just spent a week in the Algarve at Luzmar Villas. We arrived to be pleasantly surprised that the hotel in real life was even better than the photos on the web site. The staff was really sweet and helpful with any question one might have had. The staff was very open and service minded, making the stay very comfortable. We can recommend getting a […] room with ocean view - which was amazing! There is a large breakfast buffet with a large selection, and very delicious. Luzmar Villas is an outstanding hotel. Typical portugese fitting, every room has an ocean view (without extra fee) nice garden, clean pool. "geen aanrader"
moeilijk te vinden! Ligt aardig ver buiten het dorp. Zwembad mooi maar veel te koud! Kamer ruim maar bed veel te smal. Tot drie keer toe werden vuile handdoeken als schoon terug gelegd. Ontbijt saai en overal de goedkoopste oplossing gezocht. Onvoldoende oog voor wat de klant werkelijk nodig heeft. Toch mooie tuin en aardig personeel. Conclusie: te […] duur voor de geleverde diensten en accomodatie. Er was heel veel wind, daardoor waren de avonden gewoon koud en was er geen sfeer (we praten over begin augustus!!).
