Rannalla kaupungissa Saint-Malo sijaitseva Escale Oceania Saint-Malo on lähellä kohteita Espace Duguay-Trouin, St. Malo Citadelle ja Cathedrale Saint-Vincent-de-Saragosse de Saint-Malo. Tämä hotelli on majoitusliike, jonka läheltä löytyy muun muassa Le Grand Large ja Porte Saint Vincent.

Melko rauhallisessa ympäristössä, vähän liikennöidymmän kadun varressa. Sata metriä mahtavaan merenrantaan, muutaman sadan metrin säteeltä löytyi ravintoloita ja ruokakauppoja. Oli myös hyvät julkisen liikenteen yhteydet mm. juna-asemalle. Noin puolen tunnin kävely esim. aallonmurtaja-rantakatua pitkin linnoitettuun 'vanhaan kaupunkiin', jonne, ainakin lähelle, pääsi myös bussilla. Saimme hyvää palvelua ja buffet-aamiaista. Voisin hyvin mennä uudestaan asumaan.

"Great hotel for the money"
This hotel is a great value. Simple and clean and located right on the ocean. It takes about 10 min to walk into the walled portion of St Malo but there is a nice boardwalk and/or you can walk on the beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful and all speak english. Overall we loved this hotel and would stay there again.

we had 2 nights in the Escal Oceania hotel St Malo easy to find on a road that runs along the beach tem mins walk to the old town staff very helpful and wellcoming . Our room was large clean and airy with a view of the beach. Breakfast was very good . Although the garage parking was more expensive than we had paid at other hotels (15 euros)it is still […] worth paying for.I would recomend this hotel to friends and will stay there again. A good convenient location, this was a quick overnight stay before travelling onward to our final destination in the South West of France. Clean and near to the centre of St Malo (walking distance). DO NOT have breakfast it cost $9 euros each and is definitely not worth the money - find somewhere else!!!
"Great place to stay right by the beach"
We got a great last minute deal and it was definitely a great deal! No frills at this place, but right opposite the beach and close distance to the old town. We wouldn't have paid full price, but with the deal we really enjoyed our stay.

Nice and very comfortable room. We had a room with sea view which was a real plus as the hotel is RIGHT at the beach. It is a ~15mn walk to the old town (Intra Muros) of Saint Malo, and at low tide you can easily walk on the beach. Good situation, next to the beach, 10 min walk from intra-muros. Free parking easy to find in the surrounding streets. A shame that there was construction work nearby and that we could only get a double room next to the very noisy elavator... Not ideal if you want to sleep after 8am... "I would recommend this hotel."
Beautifully located on the beach and conveniently about a 10 minute walk from the old city. Rooms with modern furnishings and a fair size by French standards. Very friendly staff and lovely buffet breakfast served in charming garden terrace. Good value for the money.

The people that worked here were extremely friendly. My room was incredibly clean, comfortable and modern. This should be rated as a 3-star hotel rather than 2-star. It's right across the street from the beach, with no other structures blocking it's view. You can easily walk to everthing of importance to see in the area. The hotel was modern and clean. Breakfast was free due to some summer special, and was good. There was parking on the street within two blocks, and we were able to find places as late as 10 PM. When looking for restaurants, we found it best to turn right when leaving the hotel. The restaurants to the left were not as good and more expensive. Great location. Near the ocean, 10 minutes from the walled city, 5 minuted from the railway station by cab (about 5-7 euros fare). Very good breakfast, but not included in room cost as I thought.

A part le temps j ai. Trouve que vous aviez un fabuleux petit dejeuner tres varie mais en ce qui concerne la chambre par elle meme manque de serviette de toilette noiys etions 4 adultes la salle de bain est un peu petite a porte gene tout mouvement et les matelas ne sont pas de bonnes qualites pour 2 jours ca va mais pas 1 semaine et je trouve inadmissible […] la taxe de sejour car le prix de l hotel les restaurants les souvenirs suffise largement a participe aux frais de la ville Lisätietoja

très bon accueil, petit dejeuner excellent et copieux, seul bémol mais pas très important il n'y a aucune place dans la chambre pour ranger des vêtements à part une penderie; du coup on laisse les vêtements de l'un des deux dans la valise!

Nous avons fait une halte d'une soirée dans cet hotel où le personnel est aimable, souriant et acceuillant, merci à eux, le petit déjeuner est super très grande variété de produits. L'hotel est très calme malgré la proximité de la rue, les chambres sont conformes à nos attentes. Seul manque un parking privé pour les clients.

Nous avons réservé cet hôtel le jour même par internet. Le prix était très bon marché et nous nous demandions un peu ce que nous allions avoir. Ca a été une très bonne surprise. L'hôtel est situé à une quinzaine de minutes de marche de la vielle ville qu'on peut atteindre en marchant sur la plage. Les chambres sont petites mais confortables et modernes. Des qualités et des défauts : pour commencer, les chambres sont tres moderne, tres propre, et tres confortable, meme s'il nous avons manqué un peu de place dans la chambre confort qui reste pas mal étroite. L'hotel est juste en face de la mer se qui est tres agreable, mais le trajet jusqu'a Intra Muros est un peu long a pied. Au niveau du service, nous […] avons été très déçu, le parking (de 15 euros par nuit) reste tres cher pour se qu'il est. Nous avons eu pas mal de soucis avec la carte qui se démagnétise sans arrêt, il nous fallais donc retourner a l'accueil car on ne pouvait pas ouvrir le parking ou notre chambre. Nous avons pris l'option Room Service pour que notre petit dejeuner soit servit en chambre (3euros par personnes et par nuit) mais, quand nous avons voulu appeler le matin pour nous servir plus tot, nous nous sommes rendu compte que les fils du telephone étaient coupé !! Du coup, obligé de se lever !!! Nous nous sommes fait remboursé biensur, mais le petit dejeuner en chambre reste restrictif, seulement 2 morceaux de pain pour les tartines .... Le personnel reste correct, certaines tres sympatique, meme si plusieurs fois nous avons du nous justifier de notre paiement, car il n'avait pas été enregistré... Obligé de dire a chaque fois "mais si j'ai payé regardez !!!!" et montrer notre ticket ... AVIS AUX FUMEURS : Interdiction de fumer dans cet hotel, sauf dans le jardin, aussi chers fumeurs ne pensez pas que vous aurez le luxe de pouvoir fumer dans votre chambre apres le petit café du matin .... vraiment tres dommage ... "France trip"
This hotel was really good standard. Also the breakfast was good (we are in france...). The only drawback for some could be that you have 1 km to walk to the old town. For us this is just a plus. We went to sleep listening to the waves.

nous sommes très contents de cette courte pose où les gens furent pleins de bonnes intentions à notre égard ... chambre spacieuse et reposante, décoration sobre et tendance ...
L'hotel en général n'est pas mal du tout, mais malheureusement nous avons eu la chambre 208 qui se trouve mitoyenne avec la cage d'escalier principal et l'ascenseur à proximité. Donc nous entendons les aller et venu en continu. Déja que cette chambre n'a pas la vu sur mer, elle n' donc rien de confortable.

Très bon hôtel ! Bien situé en bordure de plage. Proche de l intra muros mais encore un peu loin des thermes marins (15min à pied environ et non à 200m). Confort des chambres parfait (juste léger problème d'insonorisation dans l hôtel, chambre à coté, porte d entrée, bruit de pas...) A recommander .

Nous sommes partis mon cheri et moi un week end de trois jour a saint malo qui fut tres agreable!! Le soleil etait au rendez vous et l'hotel en bordure de mer a rendu ce voyage encore plus agreable. Nous recommandons cet hotel a toute personne voulant passez un sejour a saint malo: qualité prix au rendez vous petit dejeuner tres bon et copieux par contre […] parking hotel payant mais pas de soucis la rue de l'hotel dipose de beaucoup de stationnement gratuit.
