Grand Beach - Orlando

Rooms with more than one bedroom have a large balcony. Our condo was super-spacious, well-appointed and comfortable. I actually bought new bedding when I got home, inspired by the bedding we had here. They offered generous rewards for attending an "open house", but gave no hassle whatsoever when we chose to decline. Do be aware that you don't get nightly […] room cleaning (although it may be available; I didn't ask) but we didn't miss it. This isn't a "room", it's a relaxing home away from home. Great location, very well trained staff, knowing what to expect is important- it's a time share property and an excellent value but you have to pay for any cleaning over and above the first cleaning, pay for wifi, and say no to the sales tour offers if you're not interested. Second visit to Grand Beach. Love it, would definitely stay there again. Super clean and comfortable, the 3 bedrooms are perfect for the grandkids. The only negative was not enough parking, if you came back late from the parks there aren't any places left.

For a time share place it was nicest I have seen. Staff was welcoming but not pushy.The rooms were clean and spacious . Great place to take family or group of friends for a very reasonable rate with plenty to do!

Grand Beach was by far a very happy experience for my family. My wife is extremely picky about where she stays and Grand Beach met all her expectations. There is a time share opportunity, and a presentation that is offered without any pressure at all to attend. We did attend and the offer was fantastic! However, we decided not purchase due to our recent bankruptcy, (got to get our ducks in a row first), but there was absolutly NO pressure when we said no. First time staying at Grand Beach and we really loved the accomodations! The 2 bedroom was a surprise upgrade. The surroundings were beautiful and very relaxing. I wished we stayed longer than one night. Truly worth every penny!

We travel to Walt Disney World several times a year. We always choose Grand Beach as our place to stay. It is close to the parks, has plenty of room in the condo, and the staff is helpful. With having a washer and dryer in the room we can pack less. We also enjoy the convenience of having a full kitchen.

This was a great place for spring break with the family. I loved the accommodations and the resort area. The front desk staff needs a friendly service refresher course, some were rude and unengaging. Otherwise it was wonderful, and peaceful stay.

Very nice and clean. I love that our room had a jacuzzi type back in it. Centrally located and staff is very nice. I would recommend and i will stay there again. I only wish i had chosen one with a balcony. We stayed 2 days and they don't clean your room everyday but i was ok with that.

This was a great resort for people of all ages. Our group ranged in age from 7 to 73 and included teenagers. We had plenty to do at the resort itself, tons of included activities, plus you are sooo close to Disney we can back to the room to eat. Very accessible to everything. It was a fabulous location for going to disney. super Walmart close by, cvs and walgreens close, mini golf and pizza block away, grills, heated pools, tons of restaurants right over I4, 5-10 min to get to parks. We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Beach! The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a two bedroom which was very roomy and comfortable and we enjoyed the beautiful pools, grounds and view of the lake. The buildings are very old. We stayed in a 3 Bedroom/3 Bathroom villa. The bathrooms had lots of small ants. We complained and they said they sprayed, didn't see any difference. The ants were there all the time.The kitchen and bathroom cabinets were also aged. Other than this, everything else was excellent.

This hotel has great amenities and a fabulous view of Lake Bryan. Front desk staff and concierge were extremely kind and helpful.

Just 2 days was just fine. Noise from some where in the hall way was getting on my nerves. Sounded like a toilet flushing every 5 mins. If I had to stay longer I would have complained to mgr.

The facilities are high end, very nice and good. However, we found the staff in the reception area (consierge desk) were not helpful and should really be replaced. They only seemed to be interested in selling more timeshares ve offering customer service. My daughter heard them treating young children poorly when the parents weren't around. This was my second stay at GBR. The first was in a 2 bedroom condo which was great. This one was in a - bedroom, and was less satisfactory. The one bedroom units are quite small with no balcony/patio. Difficult when one person was up and the second wanted to sleep as the bedroom is separated from the living area by a wall full of windows with blinds. […] The bathroom is in the front of the unit and the bedroom is in the back. During our stay one of the tel pools was closed for maintenance, which was surprising given it was spring break and the resort was full. Overall, the GBR is a well maintained, and aesthetically pleasing resort. The staff is very nice and we encountered no pressure to visit the sales center. The proximity to Disney is great, but it is located on a very busy highway that can make egress a little difficult at high traffic volume times. Lisätietoja

Loved this hotel. It was very convient to everywhere we wanted to go. Very convient to disney and easy to get to interstates to head to cape canaveral. The best part was having such a great place to come back to after long days. I will absolutely stay here again. They had shuffle board paddle boats tennis courts all kinds of things to do there at the […] resort. It was a bit cold while we were there and we only had a few days so we did not get to take advantage of the resort like we would have liked. Will plan another trip for a little longer stay so we can take advantage of all they have to offer. Heads up you will be asked about time share presentation but are not pushy at all. Great offer just did not have any extra time this trip. If I was going to do a time share this would definitely be the one I would choose. Never had maid service in the entire stay, room was obviously set up to be a time share/long term stay place. Perhaps I did not read the fine print, but I'm surprised that hotels even had this listed. Really not very good for business.

We were very impressed with the beautiful Victorian style buildings. Furniture was very comfortable; rooms were spotless. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous, with meticulous landscaping. Very happy with our stay.

One bedroom suite was perfect size for the two of us. Flexibility to cook breakfast versus running out in the am or having a cold drink from our fridge after hanging out by the pool was an extra bonus/money saving. The bedroom is on the outside wall and only area with windows so kitchen/living inside a little dark, not that you are inside much. You […] can hear noises from parking lot/outside and the people moving about above us, however noises stopped by 11pm so not a big issue. At checkin we were not told about the no service actually we were not told much at all, just sent to the concierge where they try to get you on a tour to sell their facility, we did not do the tour and did not feel any pressure after we said no. Disagree with them selling rooms by night at a rate with no daily housekeeping service, amenities average not the extras like lazy river/water slides, spa, bar/cafe on property(so would think twice about paying a higher rate if had our kids with us). Too many other properties have the extras at the same rate. Two wonderful positives: property is on a lake so relaxing in hammocks with the beach sand under your feet was great and there is not a nightly service fee or parking charge($$ saver). Lisätietoja

The pool and hot tub had some algae in it. Didn't bother us with sales pitches. Kitchen was well equipped. Location convenient. Close to Whole Foods, where you can pick up groceries or meals.
