Too much construction dirt flying all over where you eat. Yogarts in the am were hot not kept in refridge but a bowl of ice. For a non smoking hotel the smell is really bad.

Hotel was under construction, other guests a little noisy. Good location, plenty of restaurants to choose from, plenty of shopping close by. All in all served our purpose well.

Hotel under renovations, when completed will look a lot nicer. Hotel is dated, updates are needed. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Served its purpose of bed for the night during our travels.

The place had great staff that made me feel welcome. The place was clean, convenient and priced right for my needs. I have stayed there several time and plan to stay there in the future.

It was not clean. They could do a few updates to the carpet, and comforters. I would not likely stay here again.

the service from the staff was good. the room was clean and comfortable. However the continental breakfast was totally empty or understocked.

1 hour after I checked-in someone tried to enter my room. It was mid afternoon and the place was about empty but the front desk person apparently checked another person into the same room I was checked into. They had a key that opened the lock. We stayed 4 nights and have no complaints. Check-in was quick, even with a new gal training. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They are upgrading the rooms so we had the new A/C unit, but still had the small t.v. which we didn't turn on. I have a bad back so was worried about the mattress. I slept good - bring an extra pillow. Room pillows […] were very thin. Close to eating places and not too far from the lake. The breakfast was the usual fruit, cereal, muffins, waffle maker etc. If we visit that direction again, we would stay without hesitation. The hotel is non-smoking but sometimes people sneak a smoke anyways. Our room smelled fresh. We did have to slice thru the smoke from the smokers outside of the building, but only for the weekend. I will never stay there agian. I had my son with me which he is only one years old and was worried something was going to crawl on him. We had to sleep on top of the covers because there were hairs under the blankets. Wouldnt want my dog sleeping here, went to Kenosha for a high school reunion and thought this was a dif hotel than it was. I found so much dirt when I cleaned some spots in the room with the Clorox wipes my wife packed me, I was afraid to put my head Aton the pillow do I slept on my shirt. Dirty place....spend a little more and go somewhere else.

We just needed a room for a quick overnite stay. That is pretty much what this hotel would be good for. The room was in desperate need of an upgrade. My daughter went to open up the shower curtain and the whole bracket ripped right out of the wall. The room needed some repairs! Phones didn't work,didn't have enough towels in the room and when you went to get more they told you they didn't have any clean ones. also when you asked for something for your room you would have to ask 3 to 4 times and you be lucky to get.

the shower rod was broken so the curtain wouldn't stay closed. Breakfast was limited to yogurt, cereal, and prepackaged cinnamon rolls that were no where near good.

An older Hotel that has seen better days. The hallway had a smell of mildew, and the room did a bit too. My wife said to spend a bit more and get a newer nicer Hotel next time. It was one of the cheaper Hotels I found in my search. I guess sometimes you get what you pay for.

Met our needs. The bathroom floor was dirty(nasty) around all the edges, had to do my own cleaning.

Wow, This is by far the worst Super 8 I've ever stayed in! The place smelled, the carpets were very stained, the furniture was stained, the room was very dirty, holes in the walls, electrical outlets falling out of the wall, HVAC that rattles so much you can't sleep...should I go on???

A decent stay for the price. Hotel needs a major renovation. Patched holes in wall, room getting run down. The bed was slanted from the center of the bed to the edge. I would probably stay again but this hotel is overdue for renovation.

We applaud the efforts to implement technology to improve energy efficiency - but it was completely non-intuitive - instructions need to be posted in the rooms. Also, the outlet for the coffee maker did not work and the coffee maker itself needed instructions. Although the room was clean, there were two issues: 1. The door stuck when opening and didn't close smoothly. 2. There was an odor of mildew in the room. Other than that, I think it was a convenient location for our overnight trip.

Its a super 8, and I wasn't expecting much. Nice place to stay for the money. If you just need a place for the night to sleep I'd recommend it. The whole place kinda smells like cig smoke. Weird because there is a sign in my room saying its been state law against smoking in hotels since July 2010. So it could use a good cleaning. My sheets had some […] cig burns as well. Nice flat screen, cable and Internet. Controllable digital thermostats. The staff was very nice when I asked for a late check out. I stayed at this hotel on business. I understand it was cheap and that the surrounding area is decent, but the walls need some serious paint and patchwork because it looks very bad. There were small holes in the walls, super bad ventilation, and the windows hadn't been cleaned in ages. I wouldn't recommend it. First I do have something very positive, the staff was wonderful, very helpful. The building was showing it's age in some places, but had been updated with a thermostat for the air, which is much better than doing it manually, and also a new flat screen TV. Stayed here for 3 nights during Pearl Jam's anniversary concerts at Alpine Valley. This was the closest location (50 mins) opnce I deciuded to book a hotel. I had had an awful stay at a Super 8 in College Park MD earlier in the summer and was sort of dreading this stay. I was VERY HAPPY with how everything worked out. Room was clean enough and the location […] was great. White Castle across the street for when we returned after the shows. Also, a Woodman's was across the street. Easily the best beer selection I've seen in quite a while. Grocery store had everything we needed. Top it all off with a free continental breakfast and I would say I was very happy. Would stay again. Being a Super 8, I wasn't expecting much more than a bed to sleep on. The hotel condition was mediocre at best. We were checked into a third floor room and then found out there was no elevator. The climate controls in the room were confusing, as we were told at the front desk that all rooms have some sort of control by the front door that accepts the […] room key and activates the thermostat on the wall. This room had the controls, but they were not connected to the AC which operated with the knobs on the AC unit. Confusing! The bathroom had a door which never fully shut because the door was swollen or warped. And the bathroom light had a push button which required several stabs to turn the light on or off. If the owners would invest a little in the upkeep of the hotel, the stay would have been much more pleasant. Service on the other hand was much better. This Hotel doesn't even look like the photo. Very Dirty. Never had towels in the room. The first room wasn't even cleaned it was filthy and the second room dirty. I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE. When told staff they didn't even care. and said it is what it is.

This is not a 3 star hotel. I was locked out of my room for 2 1/2 hours with a child that needed to get to sleep. After waiting an 1 1/2 for owner to get there. He was able to open our room, but proceeded to tell us it was our fault and we could have a refund if we left. It was 10pm by this time with all other hotels in area full.
