We did not spend a lot of time there, but found all of the staff very friendly and helpful and the accomodations were clean and very comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast - had scrambled eggs both days along with other food options..

Staff was inattentive but otherwise the rooms were clean and comfy. We were there New Year's Eve and the party was loud, so we were worried we wouldn't get any sleep, since our room was at the top of the stairs, open to the lobby. There are trains running often nearby and it might keep a light sleeper awake all night. My main concerns in a hotel are clean and comfy. This fit that bill. Know that, apparently, all king bed rooms have showers, not tubs. So, if you want a tub, reserve the double beds room. The "exercise room" is obviously there to serve the requirement that they must have one or pay a hefty fine. It is a treadmill and a bike in a VERY small room with a tv. The treadmill was very difficult to start up (and I've worked […] numerous treadmills) and the speed kept dropping...the mileage didn't seem correct so maybe it was malfuntioning. Was frustrating so I finally quit after 40 minutes when I usually go much longer. The room, because of the size (barely big enough to hold both pieces of equipment), got extremely hot very quickly. Well for some reason my reservations had gotten canceled with out my knowledge when I went to check in and luckly enough they upgraded my room because the room I had reserved was booked. The staff was very acomdating for my husband and I, the pool was nice bed was comfortable.

A little out of the way but away from the hustle and bustle of a major highway and Albertville. A quaint place with some nice eating places down the street. Definite good place to stay.

The room was mostly clean except for the bathroom. I don't think the toilet had ever been cleaned under the rim and was all too visible when using the sink/mirror. The king bed, tho tidy, wasn't very comfortable. The mattress was cheap and flimsy so they compensated by putting two twin size foam mattress covers on it which left a gap between the two […] because of their size. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Really could use a better variety of food. The breakfast rolls were very dry as well as the bagels. Yogurt and some fresh fruit to put in the yogurt would be a nice touch. Had this at one of your competitors establishments, yogurt and fruit was made fresh every morning.

Had a great experience at this hotel. Staff were friendly. The overall appearance of the hotel, and our room was very inviting. I had a great time here. Having a pool also, was really great. A great place to just relax.

everything was great in the rooms other than the tub which would not drain properly, the breakfast was average but the motel was great. The counter lady who checked us in on Friday nite the 27th was superb! we'd stay there again in a heart beat. Thankyou!!

Inviting feel to decor. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good value in my opinion. I would definitely stay here again.

Pretty nice place to stay, spacious rooms, and a pretty good breakfast. I would definitely stay there again. It is a little noisy when the trains go by but it didn't bother us that much.

stayed for 1 week - sometimes in room coffee service was not cleaned and supplies not replaced daily

was not as close to Albertsville as we thought, but with the price of the night it was good. The trains were not running all night or anything so it was not as bad as some talk about here. The breckfast was not stocked as it was 9 am and nothing hot other then waffles. Too bad we really enjoy Grandstay hotels

I didn't pay attention to the location vs. my destination but was pleasently surprised. It was about 15 minutes off the interstate but easy to find. I read the reviews after booking and got worried about all the yrain comments but the only train i heard was at 7 in the morning. Pool isn't very deep (5ft)

Motel was clean enough. Nice pool area. OK continental breakfast - nothing special. Room very basic. Pillows on double queen beds were like minature - not standard size and flat and only a total of four (so couldn't stack them). ALL night long, outside the motel (which is in the middle of nowhere) TRAINS, so loud and so close the rumbling literally […] shook us awake. In the bathroom, nice motel white towels. Also, on the sink counter, a single dark blue rough washcloth. At first I thought someone had left it in the room by mistake. Then I noticed a small sign above it on the mirror; a rude little message I have never seen in a motel before. It said (paraphrasing) that to avoid being charged with damaging the towels, this blue washcloth should be used for removing makeup and cleaning up spills. Maybe I am a little sensitive, but I resent the implication I should wash my face with the same washcloth I use to clean up spills. Fortunately, no spills - I would have had to leave them. Very nice well maintained hotel. Rooms were very clean (esp the bathroom which you don't see often). It was a queit night sleep on comfortable beds. Only noise was the trains nearby but they weren't too bad. The free breakfast was a plus.

The room was not ready when we checked in at 6:30 pm. The room had been shampooed and still had an odor and the bed was of poor quality. Staff was friendly and pleasant.

worst stay in years in any hotel.....right next to rail road tracks which were highly active, toilet over flowed at 4am, kids running the halls at 5am, bed was as soft as cotton and very uncomfortable, hot tub scalding and pool over filled with chlorine.

The room was everything I expected plus more. The rooms were clean and spacious while the bathroom was clean and modernized. The road side of the hotel featured numerous trains passing by at night with horns a blasting but that did not bother me as I am a rail fan.
