I organised four families to stay together to enjoy the 2012 Royal Easter Show. They had our rooms near each other, which were very clean and family friendly. We even received easter eggs at our doors on Easter Sunday morning. The kids loved it as did the adults. Thanks for a great time.

Excellent hotel room for single occupancy business use. Good hotel room fpr personal use by a couple: could do with added chairs.
Enjoyed our stay.Rooms were good and well priced. Until we were woken repeatedly by Asian tourists knocking on our door approx seven times from the early hours of the morning, and talking very loudly right outside our door for over an hour as if they were the only people in the hotel. As our son had been ill most of the night we had very little sleep […] because of these people and had a nine hour drive home that day. We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott, North Ryde. It is located a 3 minute walk to Macquarie Park train station, that will take you straight into the heart of Sydney. Marriott is a very well maintained Hotel, Clean and all the staff we came across during our stay were very friendly and pleasant to interact with. Will definately be staying again.

Don't get confused by the North Ryde title.... the hotel i next to the Macquarie Park train station... a long walk with bags otherwise. The price was good and great for a family but the travel passes for the trains into town made this a fairly expensive option compared with staying down town. Nice hotel, clean and very helpful staff.

"Care of Family Bookings"
I had read a number of reveiws where family bookings had been messed up as the room was booked for two adults and two children. Not wanting to fall victim to a similar fate, I phoned the motel to be assured it would be fine. On check in, it was not fine and no other options were provided except for complimentary breakfast. Despite my protests with the on duty manager, his explanation and resolution fell well short. "Quality Comfort"
Idellay located for those in the Maquarie technology park. High standard and good value for three night special. However not easily found - you need your GPS as it is located off a side street with no sign on the either Talavera Rd or Lane Cove Rd.

Our third stay in the hotel and as always everything was up to scratch. My only gripe, my adult son's actually, was the rollaway bed he was given to sleep on was uncomfortable. Didnt get to our hotel room until after 10pm and the room was not set up for the 2 kids, we got moved to another room with a king bed up steep stairs and 2 lounges downstairs for the kids to sleep on. Pretty good bit annnoyed at first as we booked for two children and two adults. Once this was sorted out the mix up in the room booking two additional beds were provided. Overall pretty good hotel was neat and clean. Had to sometimes prompt staff for linen and towels but they delivered them promptly.

"check your booking carefully"
After booking in and going to our room our group of 2 adults and 2 children had only a king size bed in the room. the computer system for some reason will let you book this room for 4 people even though it does not possibly sleep that many. We were upgraded but had to pay to a loft room, the problem here was that the bathroom was up very steep stairs […] and my elderly mother was unable to climb them. even if she could the shower was over a bath and was very difficult to climb into. We have stayed at this hotel before and again on this occasion stayed for personal rather than business purposes. We like the rooms and the way the hotel is maintained. This time we had full breakfast included in our rate. Unfortunately the breakfast let the hotel down. Marriott North Ryde has everything I expect from this famous chain hotel - Clean and safe room, comfort bed, good staff and service. However, the location is the weakest link here. If you are not driving, merely taking the train to the city, (Say like central station) it will take around 40 mins, which is actually far away. While at night, there are […] not much shops or eating locations around, except McDonalds or some fast food chains around. Something worth considering is they provide free parkings to hotel guests only during weekends, so do expect a charge when you are staying during the weekdays. I drove to airport after my stay, and under usual morning traffic condition, it takes around 30mins to reach the airport. The Hotel was in a convenient locaton walking distance to the railway that made for an easy 1 hour trip to the Airport. The room was just what we liked and clean. Our privacy was respected and we were able to sleep in without disruption. Hotel is handy to fast food outlets and a healthy walk to the nearest shopping centre. We found this hotel to be very well maintained with very good cleaning standards. We stayed in Jan 2011 for two nights. The room was very comfortable with a modern clean bathroom. Water pressure in the shower was very good. Towels were a bit tired though. TV had a good range of pay channels. The beds were very comfortable. Our room had two double […] beds which made conditions a little cramped but we really only used it for sleeping etc so this was no real issue. We are used to staying in apartments so this no doubt influenced our cramped feeling. Having to pay a very steep daily rate for broadband access was the main downside - just seemed a rip in this day and age of falling broadband prices. Location was extremely close to Macquarie Park rail network and return tickets for two to the city was just $12. Car parking at hotel was free and behind secure boom gates. Wie bei fast allen unseren Übernachtungen in Australien bekommt man auch hier nicht die Sauberkeit und den Service, den man in den meisten westeuropäischen Ländern gewöhnt ist.
