Poikkesin avopuolisoni kanssa heinäkuussa 2011 Kaliforniaa autolla kiertäessämme Montereyhin ja pikaisesti tekemämme majoitusvalinta osoittautui oivalliseksi hinta-laatu -suhteeltaan. Huone oli siisti ja viihtyisä. Majoitus vastasi odotuksiamme hyvin ja voimme sen johdosta suositella sitä kaupunkiin poikkeavalle. Huoneen hintaan sisältyvä aamiainen oli mukava lisä. Henkilökunta oli myös ystävällistä ja palveluhenkistä.

excellent stay there despite old fashion room (but very clean) and equipment. The place was nice on the outside, but inside was very small only room for one person. There was no storage space or anywhere to put things, the bathroom was small too. I was disappointed with the balcony, there was a front balcony and no view. The best part was breakfast, there was a very nice selection of breakfast foods and the music was very nice […] too. The inn had an eclectic, Victorian feel to it. It's not my own personal style but it was charming. The room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom could use a remodel, especially the peeling wallpaper. My two biggest complaints are that the tub drain was nearly clogged and retook forever to drain the water from my shower. Also, the bed wasn't very comfortable […] at all. I could feel the springs underneath the mattress. The high points of the hotel included the breakfast, location to downtown Carmel, and the lovely flower garden. If only this inn would invest in some easy, inexpensive updates and quality mattresses, then it would be perfect. However, for the price I got I can't complain too much. Very quaint hotel - more like a bed & breakfast. Room was small but comfortable. Shower head was on the low side and water pressure was not great. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. "Charming B&B in Carmel"
We spent this weekend at Cobblestone Inn. It was a wonderful experience. The people managing the Inn are extremely friendly & helpful and want the guests to have a wonderful time. They serve great coffee, Tea and cookies all day. They have a wine & cheese & hors d'oeuvres reception every evening (4:30 to 6) followed by a sherry service. the room was supposed to have a fireplace and a private balcony but did not . when i complained the staff did nothing because i booked through hotels.com . They were rude and the place was extremely tacky. It was supposed to be close to the beach and town but was miles away and was only close to the highway. This place was awfull
"Pleasant stay"
The room is a little bit out dated but quite clean. I booked the room with little kitchen area that I can use microwave and refrigerator. I have 2 dogs stayed with me and it all works out good.
The Crystal Bay Inn in Carmel is a very nice small family run hotel that I would highly recommend. The breakfast is very fresh and the room was quite charming. It is a mile or so to town, but not a real problem. I would highly recommend staying here.

This hotel is located close to Hwy 1 in a nice quiet residential neighborhood. The location is amazing, its very close to downtown Carmel, minutes from Pacific Grove, and a short drive to Monterey. I booked this place and was very excited, then I started to read some of the reviews and was worried I made a bad choice. But I was glad I decided to stay here. The Inn was great! We stayed in the King Suite and it had tons of amenities: a kitchen sink, mini fridge, microwave, fireplace, plates, etc. I don't give it 5 stars because the bed was a little […] hard - but still comfortable and some of the items were a little order. There was no plug for the bathroom sink...so it was a nightmare for my wife putting her contacts in so as not to drop it in the gaping hole. The toilet plugged and the Desk left a plunger at my room door for ME to use.No Ice in the Ice machine, and only one type of soda (Pepsi) in the soda machine.Breakfast howevever was very good

we were traveling the pacific coast from San Francisco to LA ,we love Carmel so decided to stay there for the night since it was raining. I called Hotel.com as I often do & got a Meg, possibly the best person ever I have spoken too! I asked about another hotel I wasn't sure about it & she told me about the one I asked about & about this one it ended […] up having a full breakfast served the next morning, a lemon tree outside the door & a fire place in the room and within minutes of everything we could want. It was less than the first one I had mentioned she even wished us well on our trip! My bride and I stayed at the Carmen Crystal Bay Inn for one evening during our hoenymoon drive down the coast. We wish our stay could have been longer. So many hotels along the coast expect their view to do the work them, but not here. The grounds are quiet and lovely,only a couple blocks from downtown Carmel. This hotel was a great deal for the price. Only downside is its a bit far if you want to walk to the downtown area. Nice breakfast, very quaint grounds.

"Crystal Bay in Carmel, a hidden gem."
Stayed for one night whilst on road trip of west coast. Room very clean and with all facilities including kitchenette with microwave, plates and cutlery. Staff friendly and helpful, good breakfast. Only downside is it's about ten minutes walk to the beach, but a stunning place it is!!

Very pleasant welcome from the hotel, on a main road was a bit noisy, when we got into one of our rooms the tap was dripping in bath and was half full of water from the drips, the rooms both smelled of chlorine from the bathrooms and was quite off putting. Very small beds compared to normal standards, needs air conditioning desperately. Was old fashioned […] and dated in decor wise and needs redecorating throughout, also the security was lax as a stable door and number panel which could be worked out quite easily.
