Very convenient location to access downtown. Very nice, comfy room. Bed was extremely comfortable!!! Definitely would recommend and stay there again in the future!!

Absolutely lovely room. Nicely appointed bathroom. Beds were very comfy! Unexpected food & beverage vouchers were a nice surprise. Ate at the onsite restaurant for two of my three nights and it was delicious!

Hotel is right on Savannah Hwy that leads to downtown Charleston in 20 minutes. There is nothing interesting in the surrounding neighborhood of the hotel. We made sure to come back to our room only to sleep. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and efficient. I think during the remodel they must have put granite on top of existing […] surfaces because the result is that the desk is too high to sit at the chair and comfortably use your computer. The coffee cabinet is too high to see where the fill line is on the Keurig. The bathroom sink required my standing on tiptoes to brush my teeth. Caveat = I am only 5'1". I used the guest laundry and exercise room and enjoyed both. My husband felt the resistance equipment in the gym needed some maintenance. Room was quite spacious. We enjoyed our stay very much. Our very large room had a great bed and bedding, a good sized flat TV, and great bathroom with a huge stall shower.Breakfast was very good with good coffee. It was about 6 miles from the center of Charleston,which was just fine. Good value.

This hotel is WONDERFUL! It doesnt look like much from the outside when you pull in. I was kind of skeptical at first, especially with the location. Enjoyed the 4 nights in Charleston. Room and hotel accommodations were extraordinarily good for motel. Only one issue was that the motel was reluctant to cash American Express Travelers Checks. They were hesitant to cash one, but did so. When I needed a 2nd cashed later the staff refused. They checked with management and nobody seemed to know for sure […] if they should. So they decided not to. I had to proceed to a local bank to get it cashed. Which was inconvenient. However, I asked to speak to the owner or for his name. They said he was unavailable but gave me his name and phone number. I called and left a voicemail. After we left Charleston for Savanna, GA I received a phone call a couple of days later. He apologized for the confusion and said that they should have cashed the travelers check. He was very concerned that I was not happy with that situation and apologized for the confusion. I couldn't understand why the staff didn't contact him personally on my behalf when I asked for his name and number. I also didn't understand why they didn't call him themselves. What an amazingly beautiful hotel! The rooms were newly remodeled. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Even the men painting said, "Good morning!" I would absolutely stay here again.

After searching for a nice place for our honeymoon, I chose the Town and Country Inn based on the nice photos on their website, all the amenities, the convenience to everything, the reviews I read and the amazing price. I thought it was very good find and when we visit Charleston again, we will stay there.

The hotel has been remodeled and some of that work is still underway. The rooms are nicely furnished and very comfortable. We did not try the restaurant during this stay. The hotel is also well located at the end of I-526 and Route 17 - Savannah Highway. We needed to go to downtown Charleston and to James Island and it was very easy to get to both destinations […] from the hotel. We would definitely stay there again on a future visit to Charleston. The hotel is finishing a makeover.. The interior is complete and is very nice. It is 5 miles to downtown Charleston. Morning buffet was good, but not outstanding and was not free. Cannot comment on lunch or dinner as we dined at restaurants in Charleston downtown. Overall a very nice and reasonably priced stay for 3 nights.

Everyone else is right, there are scaffolds on the front of the building while the stucco work is being completed, but that shouldn't discourage anyone from staying there. Our room was LOVELY. it was a pleasant stay....the Inn just completed renovations. The suite was clean and had all the amenities....I did not take our pillows...and the beautiful ones on the bed were just tooooo!! big for my comfort...Oh well it was great and would recommend it to anyone..........Faye

We really enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were extremely clean and were up to date with all the latest amenities you would expect from a much more expensive hotel. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Charleston!

All is brand new so feels very clean. Room is a bit small. Outdoor pool is freezing cold and the indoor pool is not being used. Very comfortable beds. Room service was reasonably priced and of acceptable quality.

My wife and I stayed in Charleston fot 2 nights and found this to a Great place to stay. There were a couple of issues with the Wifi, it comes and goes when it pleases and there is a fan in the bathroom that does not go off. They said that all rooms have this fan and it so the air stays fresh. Also it is a nonsmoking hotel, whitch is ok with this smoker. […] But they need to put ashtrays outside so people do not throw butts on the ground. But overall we loved it and would stay again. Most comfortable stay I have had in years! Beds were fabulous, flat-screen TV wonderful, Keurig in room allowed for individual teas and coffees! Great service, friendly staff, and wonderful Sunday Brunch.

Room was very nice, everything new. Have to be able to look past the outside scafolding. The quality of service from the staff was poor. Waited for someone in restaurant to bring us drinks. No one ever came. After I went to someone to find us a waitress, still no one came. Flagged down another waitress and she brought us drinks. Never received our check […] either. Nice stay for price, hotel is updating all their rooms. My rooms was quite comfortable. Shuttle service to airport was a plus.

Even though the outside of the hotel was still in the process of being redone, we were greatly impressed by our beautiful room and the closeness to downtown Charleston. There is no reason to spend more money to stay close to the action, so to speak, when you can spend way less here and drive about 15 minutes to be in the mix of things.

I booked thru Hotels.com and hotel was advertised as Pet friendly. Upon check in I was asked to initial a statement that said we had no pets, which I did, as I was having a hard time understanding the girl at the front desks thick accent. Going to our room, which was beautiful, by the way, I slowly started putting 2&2 together and realized this was […] not a pet friendly room. My husband went back to the front desk and explained the misunderstanding. They told us they only allowed pets in the rear annex at the back of the hotel. Upon entering it was obvious these rooms were not used much. There were a few bulbs out which we asked to be replace. Maintenance came right away and was very pleasant. After realizing the next morning the bulb didn't work over the sink, we called again. Turns out the whole electrical system didn't work. Maintenance was nice enough to open joining door for us so we could use bathroom sink area there. At first they said we could move, but after noticing how settled we were, and knowing those rooms were rarely used, they said we could use both rooms. Made it more convenient for sure since we paid for the "nicer room" and had to stay in the "less nicer room." The girl even made us pay a pet fee. However at check out I spoke with Mr. England, the manager, and he waived the pet for our inconvenience. I was pleased that he worked with us. Lisätietoja

The front looks horrible because it is under construction. But the inside is nice, staff is friendly, and the room was very nice and clean. Very classy room with nice touches and I would return to this hotel.

Recent major renovation is incredible. The hotel is like brand new and the rooms are luxurious over the top. Def the nicest rooms in town and at a great value.
