Ashlee Lodge is what we in America might call a motel, only because it is located out of 'town'. But to call it a motel would be grossly inaccurate, because Ashlee Lodge is more than that. The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable, and that comfort will only be enhanced by the guest areas that feel like a home, and the personal care and attention […] provided by the owner. My wife even suggested that we extend our stay at Ashlee because she was so impressed with the room, bed, cleanliness and service. We booked this place because of all the favourable reviews we saw here and in other sites and they were very accurate. No hesitation in recommending Ashlee. It is about 5 minutes from the castle and the town of Blarney so […] it was very handy. They also recommended a great pub about 5 minutes away that was also a great find. The location also was very quiet and after stayuing ion a few places where late night partiers kept us up, this was a very welcome rest. The Ashlee Lodge was an amazing place to stay! It's about an 8 minute drive to Blarney Castle, and the owners could not have been more welcoming. It felt more like visiting an old friend than just staying at a hotel! They even gave us recommendations for food, and we ended up eating some of the best food during our whole trip to Ireland. Most comfortable beds in Ireland. The owner is super friendly and helpful with advice on where to go and eat around the lodge.

What a great treasure. Ashlee Lodge is located only minutes away from the main castle. In fact, it is on the same main road. It appears to be completely run and managed by a most pleasant couple, John and Ann, who are both very warm, inviting and knowledgeable. The traditional Irish breakfast is great, cooked up on the spot by John. There is no dinner […] but John referred us to a nearby traditional Irish pub which my fiancee and I thoroughly enjoyed. The facility is well kept, roomy, quiet and more than adequate for a stay in Blarney to see the castle or just enjoy the town. Would definitely stay again. Lisätietoja

This was THE best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. We were taking a driving tour of the country by car, and had booked ahead of time. Never in my wildest dreams would I have predicted this hotel to be as spectacular as it was. The owners were super sweet and hospitable. Every aspect of the stay was superior. We chose the Ashlee Lodge because of reviews on Hotel.com and were not disapointed. Close to Blarney Castle on the road in from Killarney. We were met by a smiling face and directions to everything on property and nearby. Once checked in we used the inviting hot tub which hit the spot. Later we used the innkeepers local recomendation for dinner and […] it was great. Room had a comfy bed, CD player with celtic cd's which we enjoyed. The room was also air conditioned. This lodge is wonderful! Great attention is taken to detail in every aspect of the facility from room decor to the dining room china and service. I highly recommend this facility.

We found the staff to be VERY helpful and wonderfully kind. My husband, whose health is poor, was not feeling well and chose to stay in the room the first day. Ann prepared a tray of breakfast food for him to be served in our room. It was just what he needed and we are very appreciative of her thoughtfulness. The room was beautifully appointed. We […] especially liked that the windows opened so we could get some fresh air when we were sleeping. The bathroom was large, super clean and there were plenty of large towels. This was the most magnificent little lodge imaginable. The proprietor was the most conversational, helpful man. He did everything by himself, also. Our room was PERFECT! We had a king size bed and a whirlpool with jets. After doing a lot of driving and walking, it was wonderful just to relax a little. Hotel was conveniently located to many places we wanted to visit. Room was comfortable, clean with a nice size bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Owners and other staff were very helpful with directions and sight-seeing tips. Would most definately keep them in mind for our next visit.

Ashlee Lodge was great! Staff were helpful with recommendations, directions to local attractions, arranged a taxi to meet me at the airport, etc. Bed was a little too firm for me, but my husband thought it was fine. Good location. Would definately stay again. Highly recommend this hotel.

This Inn was outstanding! We arrived in Dublin and drove to Blarney - a very long ride - and arrived at the nicest Inn of our entire trip throughout Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
