Bahia - A buffet breakfast and occasional dinner (surcharge) are served in this restaurant overlooking the gardens and the sea. The restaurant is decorated in Bisazza tile columns, representing a contemporary and creative version of a local theme, with rich marble floors and white ceilings.
Los Naranjos - Creative European cuisine is served in a light-filled room with wide garden and sea views.

"Impressive and comfortable"

The Don Carlos is a lovely hotel with amazing grounds and beautiful pools. The rooms were very comfortable, quiet and clean. The food was a little average so I would find alternative places to eat. Good location - close to Nikki Beach. But all in all a great hotel and I would definitely go back or recommend to a friend.

"Service very disappointing"

We arrived for a weeks break from a very heavy work schedule which involves staying in many good hotels around the world. The hotel is expensive but we thought we deserved it! The first room was small, next to the house keeping cupboard and lift and very very noisy, requesting to change was met with grumpiness and general unhelpfulness - although after some time we were relocated. The facility is beautiful, paying to use the pool and the beach is unusual, although the staff there do smile! The F&B offering in the main hotel is very poor and very very expensive. Would we stay there again or recommend it....judging by the level of service from front of house and other staff...I don't think we would for the money. It's a 5 star facility unfortunately let down with grumpy and unhelpful staff

"Quality Hotel just outside Marbella"

We stayed at the Don Carlos Hotel six years ago and we liked it then. We returned for a few days in early June 2008 and were very impressed by the way the Hotel had been extensively modernised with expensive furnishings and the Bedroom was large and beautifully decorated, we also had a tremendous view of Marbella and Gibraltar from our balcony. The buffet breakfast sitting around the pool was superb and we did not have to fight for a sunbed as there was plenty fot everyone. We were given two complimentary day tickets to the newly opened Beach Club and were totally pampered with fruit cocktails,plates of fresh fruit,cold towels and even one of the attendants came and sprayed you with a fine mist spray to keep you coolwhilst you sunbathed. The whole experience was totally first class and I would recommend this Hotel to anyone.

een heerlijk hotel om een paar dagen helemaal "bij" te komen. Zeer relaxed, vriendelijk en attent personeel (in juni, dus redelijk begin van het seizoen) prachtige tuin en veel uitgaans mogelijkheden in de buurt. Zowel voor jong als oud een herlijke omgeving.
