Hotel location

Our stay here was just fine.....clean....free snacks....not too far from hockey arena.....clean restaurant.....nice staff.

For what I paid, was disappointed that there was no hottub or continental breakfast. Also, the front desk staff was not very friendly. It took several minutes of standing at the front desk before I was greeted. Also, when I asked if they could call another cab company (the direct line was consistently busy) it seemed to be an inconvenience for them. […] I think it was the front desk manager who was arguing with me that if they called (the same company) it would be busy. The hotel was nice but not impressed with front desk staff or the lack of continential breakfast. The restaurant in the hotel was less than impressive. Lisätietoja

Location worked for the event I was attending. In the afternoon it was easy to walk to Starbucks & Sobeys round back of the hotel. Breakfast in the restaurant was good, reasonable and pleasant service. It was very busy on Sunday morning so seems like a popular place. I took a cab to my event as I did not want to have to walk alone from the back parking […] lot by myself at night. When I looked for a Hotle in the NW of Edmonton your sight came us with a rating of 2.5 stars. We normally would not have reserved accomodations at that level, but the reviews were very good. They all came true. The hotel appears to be updated, the lobby looked fresh and new as did our room. The beds were super comfortable and all the amenities were […] what we enjoyed. Loved the shower head. We will return if we have occassion to and recommend to family and friends. One comment- the resaurant staff were somewhat slow to take orders, but the food was good. Perhaps a seniors menu would be in order as it was an over abundance of food. Perhaps see if you are able to up your rating as you deserve it. 3.5 would be good. New bedspreads would be good also. Staff were very friendly and helpfl is assisting us determine transit to go to the U2 concert. Our room was set up like a mini apartment which I liked alot. Snacks and a newspaper were also provided. I wold stay again.

This is a comfortable hotel to stay in. The beds are very comfortable and the hotel is conveniently located in a minimall with shopping and restaurants close by. The hotel offers a nightly snack basket of breakfast items as well. I enjoyed my stay at the Rosslyn.

We have stayed at the Rosslyn many times and are always made to feel welcome. Our spacious room was very comfortable and clean with all amenities. We especially appreciated the goodie basket delivered to our door in the evening. It was full of fruit and snacks plus bottled water...a very thoughtful touch.. I have to say that I was really surprised. My expectations were not high, considering the neighborhood (I'm not a fan of the north end of Edmonton) but this hotel had high standards. The hotel is renovated, so it is updated and fresh. My room was clean and not at all outdated. Rosslyn Inn is in Central/North Edmonton - not the best neighbourhood but certainly not the worst in town either. Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, and the amenities were the best I've seen for a hotel at this price: not just the usual soap and shampoo but also mouthwash and lip balm and a shoe horn. It was alright. We did not spend too much time there. The rooms were clean and the free snacks were nice. The only issue I had was that there was no hot water during my shower. There were another guest at the hotel complaining of the same thing during checkout. He was complaining to the front desk clerk, but she didnt seem to concerned about it. I […] did not have time to bother with it but I did inform the maintenance manager who was standing right there. He too did not seem to concerned. Other than that, It was a good stay for the price. Profesional friendly, and courtious,Staff well equiped,,even has complemetry fruit, muffins choclates, and coffee,, Parking is a littel tight as it is located near a Strip Mall and A Boston Pizza, but they give you hotel guest parking passes and we never too far away from a door, 2.5 star rating is too low more like 3 or 3.5
