Nice rooms

The hotel staff was very friendly. I made reservation online less than an hour before I arrived at hotel. The clerk had already made sure the air condioner was on. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet. Enjoyable stay.

The room was super clean, and the staff were very friendly. The TV worked, but had a pink tint to it. There was an ad saying all the superior rooms would have flat screens by the end of 2012. At any rate, this one needed to be replaced. And the toliet paper holder was broken. But we were not there to watch tv, we came to stay on the river. And this […] was a great place for that. The hotel was just not clean looking, I was not sure about staying but we ended up staying. But we left first thing in the morning.

Somewhat older property right on east side frontage road of 35. Clean and decently maintained. Breakfast the bare minimum, only hot items toast and coffee,but fresh enough. Friendly staff.

King size bedroom had plenty of space and comfort. I stayed in corner room so did not hear neighbors or any outside noise. I did the job and would recommend for last minute stay or quick getaway stay.

To much money for so little offered with the room. At the Budgett in down the street on the other side of I-35 for 50 dollars cheaper I got a microwave and a fridge, also a much bigger room.

Room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. We had to wait 15 minutes to be helped at the front desk. We arrived at 10 p.m. and found no one at the desk. He was making a repair in a guest room. He was very apologetic and polite once he did get there to check us in. Would stay again.

For the price this hotel is near New Braunfels plaza, Schlitterbahn & Landa Park where they have the Wurstfest. Wal-Mart is on the next block over & Starbucks is across Hwy. 35.

At check in, I asked for a downstairs room, the clerk said they were all booked. I asked for a room with a microwave and refrig., the clerk said they wre all booked, and they aren't available at this rate. Then while I was there for 3 days, I saw very few other guests and they were mostly in the back biudling, the parking lots were mostly empty. It […] would have been easy for them to let me have one of the other rooms that remained empty all weekend. for the money it wasn't bad....

I do want to say that the night clerk, Frank. Was very friendly and helpful. Our experience there was not his fault at all. We chose this location on line and that was our first mistake, there was not enough crucial information online. The second was not calling and inquiring about the location of the hotel and room. We had to climb a flight of deteriorating […] outside stairs to the room (which I would have found out had I call the location myself). the room was awful! It did look clean. The mattress must be 10 years old or just a cheap mattress. There were only 3 small pillows for a king size bed. Come on at least put two king size pillows. No extra blankets in the room. The TV was an old TV and all the colors were red............! The tub was very slick...needed something in the bottom to keep someone from slipping which we almost did. The commode was in small space with the tub and there was no room to open the door if you were sitting on the commode. The walls were very thin, I kept hearing the neighbors .. Maybe this was an old motel that Red Roof took over but it is not up to quality. But, then, I guess you get what you pay for..............next time we will go somewhere else and never stay at a Red Roof Inn again. Lisätietoja

Very clean room, Manager on duty both at arrival and at check out were very friendly and helpful. We went for the cheapest rate and got a room without coffee maker, but we got all the coffee we wanted at the free breakfast. Room was well equipped with hair dryer, ice bucket, television, telephone, king bed, etc. Real good value.

I made a mistake and checked smoking room when I wanted a non-smoking room. They wanted to charge me an additional $10 to change to the non-smoking room. I refused in principle and stayed in the smoking room which smelled. Why should I be charged for a room that is easier to maintain? The reason was passed off on the booking website. Very lame. People […] standing in line with me could not check in at 12:00 even though there were many empty rooms. When I came back late that night I counted about 8 cars at the hotel. The place was poorly maintained and the TV looked to be 30 years old. Just a poorly managed and maintained hotel. Red roof should investigate the general manager Lisätietoja

This is at a great location! Right by everything you need! We went floating on the river which was a hop skip and a jump! Free wifi and really nice room for price.. If all u need is a good shower and comfy bed.. This is the place to go...

the hotel was not nice. The continental breakfast sucks. no coffee, no juice. the ac in the room sounded like a freight train. it was sooo loud we could not sleep. the air vent must have had 100 years of dust in them . for what we paid it was not worth the price. i would not reccomend
