Hermitage Hotel - Bournemouth

I like the location and free parking on site. The Hotel is a good 3 star Hotel. The only thing I did not like was the single room was very small.

Have stayed at the hermitage hotel before. We were a little disappointed with the room. Ask for seaview if you can. The resturant staff were superb and so was the quality of food. Location is also great for the bic and shops and also the beach. Can't wait to return.

My stay of 7 nights (May 1 to May 8 2011) at this hotel was a very pleaseant one. The staff of the reception desk, restaurant, bar, and housekeeping were all highly efficient in their duties, helpful and very polite. One minor problem reported before breakfast on my first day was taken care of before I returned to my room. My single room on the first […] floor with a view of the pier, though small, was quite pleasant with a very comfortable bed, wardrobe with shelves and hanging space, a writing table, easy chair and coffee table. A lso provided was a safe and iironing board and electric iron. The bathroom was well equipped and a daily supply of fresh towels as also were the bed linens. All of the public rooms are very pleasant, comfortable well decorated and include some fine pieces of furniture. The daily breakfast was as good as one might expect in a 5 star hotel. Excellent location, very good staff especially the head waiter, slightly disappointed by smallness of the room. Overall, hotel to be commended

The hotel has and will always have Bournemouths Premier class location and standards from an established hotel.The ambience and overall quality are hard to beat by any competitor in the same league. overall this hotel is underclassified on the aa star ratings

Stayed for the weekend, found the room to be small and stuffy (had the fan on all night) but it was clean and nicely decorated. The food in the lounge was adequate but not particularly inspiring, the full breakfast was good. Excellent location across the road from the pier and conference centre. excellent service from the staff and very good dinner and breakfast menu. My only criticism was that the bathroom was the narrowest I have ever seen!

I stayed at the Hermitage Hotel for two nights while attending a conference at the Bournemouth Conference Centre. The hotel is ideally located for the centre - just across the road. The hotel's free and convenient parking was also valuable to me. The room was clean and comfortable, but very hot. The window opened onto an external fire escape, which […] was a comforting thought in the event of a fire, but meant that for security reasons I couldn't leave the window open at night to cool the room down (possibly why there was an electric fan in the room). The window lock was also a bit dodgy and I had to ask the hotel to fix it. Only four channels on the TV, if that's important to you. Breakfast was fine, but some of the hot food didn't arrive until after the published start time of 7am, which might be annoying if you are trying to get away early. I first stayed at this hotek when I was 3, I'm 50 now, unsurprisingly I hadn't remembered much about it! The room I was first given was nice and big, but had a view of the car park at eye level (it was on the ground floor). I asked for and got an upgrade to sea glimpses, much better. The room was dated by todays standards but good enough, wireless […] internet connection was available, but £5 for 8 hours, not good - I generally find it free. The hotel is in a great location for the town, beach, and BIC and Pavillion. Car parking is not guaranteed but I didn't find it difficult to get a space. wir hatten ein Zimmer hinten gegen den Hof, dieses würden wir nicht empfehlen, weil wir die ganze Nacht von der Lüftung gestört wurden. Sehr nettes Personal vorallem die Réceptionistin!

Hotellet virket som om det er et gammelt ærverdig hotell,med de fordeler og ulemper som følger med. Beliggenheten,nær stranden og sentrum er ypperlig. Rommet var lite,men var rent og pent. Jeg hadde enkeltrom, og fikk derved et rom på baksiden. (Det virker som om alle enkelrom, også på andre hoteller, skal ha dårligst mulig utsikt) Trykket i dusjen […] var under enhver kritikk, der var overhodet nesten ikke trykk på vannet. For å få passelig varmt vann, så bare rant det ut. Likte heller ikke at sengen sto på hjul,og lysbryteren til lyset over sengen sto bak en plate. En småløpende hovmester som virket som et forstyrrende element på en ellers fredelig frokost.Bodde i 2 dager,og ventet i en halvtime fra jeg satt meg på bordet til jeg kunne begynne å spise.Ei av servitørende hadde tydligvis skylapper på øynene, Hun såg ikke i min retning i det hele tatt.Måtte mase om noen få smørklatter.Ba om toast,og i mellomtiden hadde egg og bacon blitt kaldt,og måtte hente nytt da toasten endelig kom på bordet. Skremmende dårlig service. Men ellers hvis en er 2 og har dobbeltrom og ber om utsikt mot stranden så vil en få en nydelig utsikt. Lisätietoja
