Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu elo 28, 2012Mukava perhepaikka - Huom. Coté Casino/Coté Port sijaitsevat eri osoitteissa ja ovat täysin erilaisia tyyliltään. Ilmoittautuminen on aina Coté Casino'n vastaanotossa - samoin avainten luovutus. Ainoastaan Coté Port puolella asuvilla on varattu paikoitustila. Uima-allas oli siisti, mutta melko pieni : päivisin erityisesti pienten lasten ja vanhempien käytössä. Coté Port asuntomme oli rauhallinen ja moderni - hyvät vuoteet ja kylpyhuonetilat. Perheen kanssa keittiö oli muutoin hyvin varustettu mutta vähän lasku- tai säilytystilaa.

Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu kesä 15, 2012We stayed with a group of friends in Adagio Caen Centre for two nights during a historic tour of Normandy. We enjoyed the stay because the rooms were spacious, well equipped and clean. In fact it seemed that we were the first users for the freshly renewed rooms. The location is decent, with 10 min walk to city center and 30 min drive to Bayeux and Omaha Beach. The hotel breakfast was better than expected for a french apartment hotel and worth its price. The hotel has good and safe parking facilities for a car packed with holiday gear. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, but at least on two occasions their english was poor. This led to difficulties in verifying hotel reservations by phone. Travelling back to Caen, would I take a group of friends or my family to Adagio Caen Centre again? Definitely!

"Does not deserve 4 stars"
This hotel is ok but not much more. The best thing about it is the location and size of the room. All the rest is pretty disappointing. First, we booked a port vue room and turns out that just means you don't have a vue of the sea, absolutly no vue of the port. Then the towels in the bathroom had quite gross stains on them and really cheap and old witch […] made the sign that claimed that they count them before you leave (to avoid theft) quite funny. Finally, during our stay, we noticed that there was only one member of staff for the entire hotel. First shock was that the check in was at 17.00. We assumed to get the room right away as we arrived with the kids at 15.30. It took 30 mintes to clean the room. No one speaks any other language but only French. Double room is made up with 2 single beds each one leaning on one side so you have to pay attention during sleep no to fall from the bed. Room was not ready when we arrived after advised booking in time. We were kept waiting 2hrs 50mins before we could occupy room. Found room noisy at night due to lack of insulation in walls and floors. Room and bathroom clean enough but decoratively jaded. "4 night stay in early June 2011"
My wife and I stayed in a standard room for 4 nights for an early summer break, travelling with our car from London via the Portsmouth/Caen ferry. We found the public areas of the hotel to be clean, pleasant, relaxed and generally adequate, but lacking any finesse, style or real level of comfort or space. The room and en suite bathroom however were […] well maintained, very clean, pleasant and comfortable. The reception desk staff were very pleasant but one seemed limited by apparent lack of experience. The location is very good. As visitors from the UK, we found the cost to be high for this time of hotel at this time of year, and we would have expected extras such as tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and a little more exciting choice at breakfast. I could not get free wi fi to work in the lobby/lounge area, no welcome/instruction booklet in the room (so I had no idea how to dial the reception desk!) and there was no free on-site parking. This hotel is conveniently situated to to explore both Trouville and Deauville. It is near the local casino and beach. The hotel bedroom was found to be clean and comfortable, with double glazed windows leading on to a small terrace. J'avais demande vu sur la mer , effectivement je l'ai eu mais avec un supplément vu sur les travaux ... Le réveil avec les travaux a 8 h fut très agréable !! "Bien placé mais déçu"
Cet hôtel est très bien placé. Cependant il ne mérite pas les 4 étoiles. Personnel sympathique (heureusement) mais au niveau de la propreté c'est vraiment un problème. Moquettes tachées, poussière, rafraîchissement des murs nécessaire et aucun insonorisation entre les chambres... Des travaux en cours dans les chambres, donc bruyant en journée. Bon petit […] dej. "Très bien placé"
Chambre impeccable à part quelques traces de vieillissement (fissures). Bonne isolation sonore. Seul bémol, malgré la réservation qui indiqué un lit double, nous avons eu des lits jumeaux la première nuit. Cela a été réglé pour la 2eme nuit. Pour un hotel 4 etoiles, nous trouvons l'hotel décevant en général. Manque de propreté concernant la salle de bain (poils et cheveux trouvés à notre arrivée). Chambre médiocre qui ne ressemble pas à un 4 étoiles. L'hôtel devrait perdre qq étoiles. Les murs présentes des fissures. Le sol n'est pas propres ! Pour un Hotel qui se dit etre 3-4 étoiles je trouve que c'est un peu juste. Odeur de cigarette ds la chambre, pas très propre (trace de doigts sur mur et interrupteurs), pas de clim (chauffage non reglable), salle de bain moisie, pas de pression eau dans le pommeau. Hall d'accueil plutôt joli, emplacement idéal. Mais hôtel très vieillissant. Chambre mal entretenue (traces sur les murs, toilettes abîmés...), pas de quoi se faire un thé ou café dans la chambre, frigo non fonctionnel (et vide) et petit déjeuner moyen avec supplément si pris dans la chambre!
