"A Calming Oasis in a Sea of Busy City Life"
I found Yogykarta to be a bustling, noisy, sometimes stressful and frantic city but the Phoenix Hotel was amazing! It was my escape, my sanctuary during my time in Indonesia. Whenever I needed to relax and gather myself, my boyfriend and I would head back to the hotel for a while. We ate quite a few of out meals there, finding the service, quality, […] and atmosphere to be wonderful. Our room seemed to be cleaned between each visit to our room. We used the spa facilities which was very relaxing and the staff were personable throughout every facet of the hotel's offering. Everything was easy, from renting a car and driver to take us to a temple, to arranging a special dinner (a staff member even brought the menu up to our room once to make sure we understood what we were choosing!), getting room service...I couldn't have been happier or more at ease. The room was very comfortable and there was free wifi access in the room, remember to get the password when you check in.

Beautiful hotel with amazing service. Excellent food. Just wonderful. Internet was a tad slow, but that's common here.

This hotel is the best in Yogyakarta...we have also stayed in Sheraton and The Phonix is a plus 5 star hotel compered to the Sheraton:-)Just book it! and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!
