This all-suite hotel is in downtown Memphis, approximately one-quarter mile from the Mississippi River Museum at Mud Island and one-half mile from AutoZone Park, Magevney House, and Beale Street. Mud Island River Park is 1.9 miles away.

Tämä hotelli vastasi odotuksia. Täällä kannattaa yöpyä, jos käytössä on vuokra-auto loman aikana, sillä hotelli sijaitsee Tennesseen ja Missisippin rajalla. Huone on siisti, mutta ilma tuntuu kovin kostealta. Ilmastointilaitetta kannattaa siis käyttää. Aamiaiselta ei kannata odottaa liikoja, mutta se kuului ainakin meidän vierailullamme hintaan ja ajoi kyllä asiansa. Tarkista, ettei herätyskellossa ole tarpeettomia herätyksiä valmiina. Lentokenttä on melko lähellä, joten jotkut ehkä heräävät keskellä yötä lennoilleen ja laittavat kellon soimaan ottamatta sitä pois päältä. Meille kävi juuri näin. Sen jälkeen kuunneltiin jonkin aikaa aamuyöstä lähteviä ja laskevia lentokoneita.

Siisti ja mukava hotelli. "Suite" hotelli on hyva vaihtoehto lasten kanssa matkatessa, voi tehda itse ruokaa ja syoda oikean (vaikkakin pienen) ruokapoydan aaressa omassa huoneessa. Keittio oli hyvin varustettu, kattilat, pannut, lastat, ym. ruokailuvalineet kuuluivat "kalustukseen", ja olivat erittain puhtaita ja hyvassa jarjestyksessa. Myos jaakappi oli hyvan kokoinen, ruokaa voi ostaa kerralla enemmankin jos on hotellissa pidemman aikaa. Uima-allas alue oli siisti, sen vieressa oli myos iso grilli joka luullakseni oli vapaasti vieraiden kaytosssa. Aamiainen oli melko kattava, sisalsi myos lampimia ruokia, munakasta, pekonia, perunoita. Aamiaishuone oli siisti. Ilmastointi makuuhuoneessa oli vahan liian aanekas, se piti laittaa yon ajaksi pois paalta.

"Fairly simple on line reservation."
Wanted a hotel in downtown, location great. As another reviewer said be prepared to drive around the block because the gps location on main street in the back of the hotel. Need to go to the next block(rt turns) and go in an alley. Had to take my bicycle into my room. TV channels not to my liking.

"Front desk was Surely and arrogant"
The folks at this hotel act as if they are doing me a favor. To heck with that, I am doing them a favor by staying there, and I will not make that mistake again. One thing to set the mood. Tried to get a soda from the machine on my floor, and it did not work. "Honeymoon Getaway"
We loved that all the attractions was within walking distance from the hotel. The staff all were very nice and friendly, the cleanliness of the hotel and our room was great, and the view from our room was lovely, there was a park out front. We had an amazing honeymoon! We would recommend Springhill Suites to anyone going to Memphis, TN!

"Great hotel but watch your valuables!!!"
I have no complaints about the hotel itself, great room, nice breakfast, great location for all the sights, friendly & helpful staff. The only thing that dampened our stay was that on 2 occasions money was taken from our room. The hotel do supply a complimentary safe deposit box :) which we did use for most of our valuables BUT twice money (relatively […] small amount) was taken, once from a inside a closed bag (which makes you think someone had been snooping) and once left lying out on the dresser. Management did take on board our complaint BUT I still think you should be able to leave your things (whatever they be) and fully expect them still to be there on your return a couple of hours later. "Memphis TN"
air-conditioner too load at night when the compressor would kick on it would wake you. It was also way too close to the bed that the air blew directly on you and when you turned it down the room was too hot. Other than that disturbing your sleep everyone was super nice and the suite was nice.

This was a great place to stay. Street car's right out side and can take you anywhere. And with it being right down town, we were next to everything. If your going to Memphis and want the right place to stay, this is it.
"Hard to get there"
Nice hotel if you can get there. Very difficult to find, My GPS even had me turning down a street reaserved for trolly cars. Kept driving around the block trying to figure out how to get there, There is no parking also. You must valet park or walk forever with your luggage, Good Luck!

Suite was comfortable, breakfast is great (although they needed a bit more help during the Sunday morning rush!). Hotel room bathrooms need more amenties - make up mirror, better lighting and a full length mirror would have made the stay even better.

We loved this hotel! The location was perfect. Across from a beautiful little park, within easy walking distance of Beale Street, centrally located to all of the downtown places of interest. The hotel sits on Main Street, which is a Trolly thoroughfare/pedestrian walkway, so you could walk right out the door and catch a trolly, or walk, and did not […] have to worry about street traffic or noise. The daily hot breakfast was a plus, offering a wide variety of both hot/cold items. We only had one little mishap, finding a pair of underwear in our room at check-in (it was fairly hidden, to give the cleaning staff a fair shake). We called the front desk and they immediately sent up someone up to take care of it, and upon check-out, comped us our valet parking for the entire week we were there. They were very apologetic, efficient, and helpful. Overall, we thought it was a perfect place to stay in Memphis. And the entire hotel staff, were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful... from the front desk, valet drivers, cleaning service, maintenance crew, breakfast room attendants... all went above and beyond to make sure you were happy and taken care of. "Odor"
The only thing that bothered me was a sour odor that came from the bathroom. One like a cloth that was over used and maybe not washed, or just dirty water that wasn't changed. I am sensitive to odors such as that, but other wise the room was fine, even if it was looking over the main entrance roof. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

"Downtown Memphis"
This hotel is within walking distance to all of the major attractions in Memphis. I always stay here, which is about every 3 months, the breakfast is great, very helpful and easy to get around.

I was very disappointed with my room. It seemed smaller than I expected. The rug was frayed at the doorway . "clean , friendly, retro design"
The hotel was clean and all staff were uber-friendly. The rooms were decorated in a retro-70s look. It was difficult to actually find the hotel from my MAPQUEST map. Once I found it all was ok. 10 minute walk to Beale Street, local park kind of creepy at night. Free breakfast good

The front desk staff were fantastic. We got the best welcome and laught with the staff at this hotel. Thank you to them for making you feel so welcome. Overall hotel is good. It is an older hotel but clean and has all you need with the tram stop right out the front and Walgreens across the road.

Overall a good experience. We (2parents and 2 teen children) stayed in the historic part of the hotel for two night and were very happy with the room/suite. "Christmas road trip"
We statyed at the hotel at the end of our Christmas road trip thru Tennessee. Very clean room. Nice to have 2 large flat screen TV's so kids could watch what they wanted to. Easy access to trolly(right out the back door) and Beale street. Wonerful continental breakfast with not just the usual pasteries~they had scrambles eggs, sausage, biscuts, bagels. Hotel was really nice. The room was clean, and seemed to be updated. The staff was nice and helpful. Free breakfast was really good as well. If you book a room, ask to be on the side that the trolley is not on. Thursday morning we were woken up by the sound of the street crew blowing leaves off the street at 6 something in the morning. "Great for business traveler"
I was in town on business. The hotel was great for my needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The trolley service made getting around convenient without having to rent a car.

The hotel is very nice, and in a good location, but the service was terrible. The two men at the front desk were extremely rude, and one of them was on his cell phone the whole time. They weren't any help when we asked any question, and they were rude if they did answer. Also, the valet guy was very rude. Pleasant stay at the hotel, check in was a breeze, convenient valet parking, walking distance to great restaurants. Did find it a little difficult to drive to the hotel, as you must enter from Front Street, but I called and the hotel staff gave me perfect directions.

The hotel is within walking distance of Beale Street and of the Mississippi riverfront. Walk to Beale Street or take the trolly for $1. Even at night the area is safe to walk.
