They're couches need to be upgraded. They sink in the middle.

Hotel was good. Parking was a little inconvenient. Walked a little in the pouring rain because the room was around in the back.

The internet service in my room was not reliable at all. This is the only reason why I'm giving this hotel a 1 rating. If you don't care about the internet, then this hotel is a solid 3. However, when you have business to take care of and cannot get an internet connection in your room, it presents a huge problem. I'm never staying here again.

First the good: It was a good value for an efficiency style room with the necessities our family needed for a multi-night stay. The hotel allowed pets which was a prime consideration for us traveling over the holidays with a sick pet. It was also very quiet, our room was recently renovated and vastly more attractive than the exterior of the building […] would lead one to expect. The shower was very hot and had OUTSTANDING pressure. The bed was comfortable, clean, and there was good furnishings in the room. There was also the wonderful aroma of McCormick spices in the air which really reminded me of old Baltimore. Next the bad: The hotel is located in a very industrial area with a nearby landfill. There were grazing deer, so perhaps its not all bad there. Upon check-in there were no luggage carts, no bellmen, nor restaurant on premises. This is strictly a self-serve hotel with the exception of housekeeping who seemed very accommodating. We had a two flight walk-up to our unit, the parking was very tight due to renovation dumpsters. There was also apparently a party when we arrived home one night because the police were on site and sending people away. The breakfast was basic at best (not worth $5), and removed promptly at 9am. I'd recommend the nearby Dunkin' Donuts or grocery stores instead. In short, it was a good value for a nice room if traveling with pets or children, but if I had the option I would chose a higher-end and more traditional hotel if your wallet allows for it - at least until the renovations are completed. Also, we departed early to visit family out of state and they were very receptive to waiving the early cancellation fees and refunding us our unused nights which pleased me. Lisätietoja

the room was nice, only two things, the balcony was perfect but kinda old, and the other thing is the shower/bathtub could of been better but the rest of the room was beautiful and great.

Room was supposed to be non-smoking. However, the room stunk like smoke. When I called the front office, they apologized and quickly responded with a statement about no other rooms available. I am really wondering if that was the truth considering the parking lot was half empty. Other than that, the room was ok.

The desk service was un-friendly. The guy didn't even say hello, just " you can't check in until 3". When we checked out he again didn't say hello he just took our key looked up our file and said "You can go". In the room the bedspread was lumpy and had holes in it. The stove didn't work and the room when we arrived was colder than the outside of 58 […] degrees. The morning breakfast was the worst I have ever had. This hotel is good, but not great - yet. The management can be a little questionable at times (an earlier reference to Fawlty Towers was not far off base when referencing one of the management staff). Overall, though, a good hotel. The location of this place is very close to Hunt Valley and Towson, The place was once a place for business folks to have an extended stay but it has deteriorated much since. Rugs were stained, and in some places ripped up, beds were lumpy and the layout was kind of strange: fea market furniture occupied various odd palces in the rooms. the pic online and in description lets you think of a cozy suite with kitchenette and fireplace. It did have those, but fireplace was out of commission, no curtains on windows and I was on bottom floor. Only blinds which were not enough for me. Management is reminiscent of Fawlty Towers, with the owner trying to do a billion things at once with only one incompetent "helping" him. Very poor service. Room was quite nice, spacious and clean. However, after some serious rains, the floor began to seep with water and one wall was clearly damaged due to the water. Went the front desk was told, they […] said someone would check it out but no one ever did. Tried to extend the stay via the front desk, but they wouldn't match the price offered online, so had to rebook online. All in all: clean, affordable option with standard suburban amenities nearby. This was my forth stay and like all of the previous visits, it was a great deal for the price. The room was perfect and am staying there again for my next trip to my son's school.

Paid reservation was lost; sent me to the wrong room - someone was actually in the room; light didn't work in 2 rooms; someone walked into my room (said he was a worker who forgot his phone) and I had to call for towels three times. The hotel was nothing like I expected. When we first checked in our room was horrible. The person at the front desk gave us the option of changing rooms. The second room had one bedroom and a pull down bed in the livingroom, we paid for a two bedroom. They allowed us to change to another room that was not very clean but it was our last choice. The sofa […] and chair was so dirty, no one would want to sit on them. They were outdated and filthy. We covered them with blankets in order to be able to sit down on them. The water faucet in one of the bedrooms only drizzled, it wouldn't run normal. The toilet constantly ran. One of the walls had silly string all over it. The room key deactivated every day. We were there for 5 days and we constantly had to go to the front desk to have them reactivated. The breakfast buffet was not a buffet. They had frenchtoast that was so hard you couldn't even cut it with a knife, sausage, and waffles. No eggs. The juice was not juice at all, it was orange flavored drink and apple flavored drink. Although the staff was friendly, the rooms definitely left something to be desired. Perhaps if they did some upgrading it would be do able. In the meantime, I would not recommend this hotel. The only good thing associated with my 5 night stay would be the location. I arrived and was assigned to room 522, but requested a different room because that room was infested with red ants! The second room (324) I was given appeared to b much better. However, by the 3rd night, the central cooling system started to get really loud and annoying. This hotel looks like its run by a family, the front desk manager is also the cleaning staff. WARNING! They don't say this on hotels.com, but there is a $400 deposit for incidentals on weekends. We had to fight with management to understand that there was no info on hotels.com saying there would be this charge. Don't expect the world. There was silly […] string on the wall, gum on the floor, and out of date appliances; the complimentary breakfast is blah. We were there for about a week. Even though we were ticked upon arrival, we actually had an amazing time. The beds were super extra comfy (and not outdated) and the A/C was much appreciated. The two separate bedrooms with their own bathroom was great, the pool was warm and overall it was a great stay. I enjoyed the room itself...in spite of a few maintenance issues. The front door to the room looked as if it'd been kicked in and did not give a very secure feel. I believe this is why so much noise from the outside could be heard. Also due to the placement of the window shades you could see directly into the bedroom (at the bed) if standing outside […] the window. I placed a comforter around the top of the window and a chair in front of the door. The bed was very comfortable and I lobed the overall setup of the studio style room. The full stove with oven came in handy for breakfast. The carpets were a strange dark color with stains. The sofa was very old. I had to lay out sheets on the floor and sofa so that my kids would not sit on the furniture or floor. We stayed one night but something in the room cause 6 out of 9 of us to come down with cold/allergy symptoms the very next morning!! They need to update the rooms. In fact, the hotel did not live up to the description/reviews I had read. The flat screen tv was positioned only for viewing from a sofa directly in front and the kitchen area. Other areas were at extreme angles to the tv. Vertical blinds did not close fully; and blinds literally were falling apart during my stay. The toilet ran constantly. The maintenance […] person never responded. Leave your tennis racquet at home. There is no tennis court - it is a miniaturized basketball court (about 1/8 the size of a regular basketball court) with a miniaturized tennis court outline painted on the surface. The beds are aweful, the living area is old and outdated. THis place needs a remodle putting a flat screen TV in the room does make it modern

Service was very good, and the room was clean and tidy. The hotel is showing its age, however, and is really due for a renovation. Check in and out was painfully slow. They would not allow a 15 minute early check-in. That was really annoying and just inconvenient. The check in and out took almost 20minutes. Other than that the stay was ok.

This hotel was by far the worst one we stayed at on a recent trip from FL to NJ and back. It was not at all convenient to the Baltimore area and overall we hated it! Even though most of the furnishings of the suite were new and it was clean, the rest of the room (tile, wallpaper etc) and the hotel itself was shabby and run-down. The ice maker in our […] frigerator didn't work and there was no other ice machine in the hotel except for the one in the breakfast buffett kitchen. There was no elevator and we had to negotiate stair steps and uneven terrain to get to our 2nd floor suite from the parking lot (we could've taken another walkway but that doubled the distance we needed to travel carrying our luggage to get to the stairs!) The laundry facilities were rundown/several machines were out of order. The pool was supposed to be open until dark or 8pm but the "lifeguard" decided to leave early and closed it before dark/at 7pm. The on-site hotel manager said she could not make him stay and she would not let us swim without him being there (we were not the only guests wanting to use the pool). The breakfast buffett was also the worst one of the 11 hotel breakfast buffetts on our trip. The juice machine and waffle maker were broken and our "choices" were oatmeal in a crock pot or donuts. I rented a two bedroom suite while traveling on business with a co-worker. When we entered the suite it reeked of cigarettes. The furniture was worn, walls in disrepair (cracks, stains, chips). The bathroom smelled of mildew and tvs were probably 20 years old. When I called the front desk to ask if they had any other suites that were not quite as 'worn' […] they said they had rooms that had been updated. Not sure why were weren't offered those first. They were very accomdating in moving us and it was a big improvement. Did not smell and tvs, paint and furniture had been updated. The room was clean and the linens and beds were very comfortable. This is not a hotel for anyone with any kind of walking disability as you have to climb very narrow wooden steps to get to your room (if it is on the second level). There are 1st floor rooms. The breakfast that was included was minimal at best. Some scrambled eggs and a piece of french toast that was so hard I couldn't cut it. On the plus side, the front desk gentleman was very accomodating and pleasant. This is a case of, "You get what you paid for" since we paid much less than we would have paid if we had gotten a 2 bedroom suite at a Residence Inn or some other hotel. Lisätietoja

While our room was clean, you could tell that the maintenance had been lacking due to holes improperly patched, caulking around the tub and sink a bit dated, and a big tear in the carpet and broken vertical blinds on the windows. The grounds, while in a nice location, didn't seem to have the finishing touches in place that you expect in a 3 star hotel. Lots of overgrown trees and shrubs, broken concrete, etc.. The breakfast was a bit weak when compared to a Hampton, Fairfield or other hotels in this price range. It seems as if they are trying to cut costs by buying much of their foodservice at Sam's or WalMart given the branding on the items that we're available (nothing against this, but perception is a differentiator in the lodging industry) The biggest plus with this hotel is the location. Easy on/off of I83 and walking distance to light rail. We used this extensively as we traveled to M&T Bank statium over the course of the NCAA Lacrosse tournament. This place has a lot going for it. This hotel was excellent only for the location of our event. The janitorial staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. However, the facilities leave much to be desired. The noise (plumbing and tenant) was not isolated well between units. There was mold in the shower area. I would rate this as a typical 2 star hotel.

The room had a phone that did not work, coffee pot was not working properly, Woke up Sunday morning with a brown recluse spyder hanging over my head. No extra sheets for the fold out...Room was not worth anything near what we payed for it....will not ever stay there again....

We were put in a room in the very back of the hotel Our room was at the very rear of the complex complex. The entry area to the room had a broken light, so it was very dark. Then shortly after we checked in at 11:00 PM someone knocked at the door claiming to be a maintenance worker. When I called the front desk they said they did not know the room was […] occupied. I asked for the light to be fixed but nothing was done. Then someone knocked at 1:00 AM - again claiming to be maintanence. The next morning the hotel staff couldn't be bothered. My suite had an upstairs and 2 bedrooms - there was a TV in each room, but only one of the 3 TVs actually had both sound and picture. Coffee pot lid was broken and had to be held on in a certain way in order for the cofee to filter as it brewed. The location was good for our needs. Parking was adeqaute, but large trash dumpsters made parking difficult. Few amenities-even the towels were torn and old. No air conditioing - blower fan worked but no cool air. We mentioned thi to the staff early in our stay, but no maintenance was done.

Overall, the room was nice, however, 2 blinds were broken and we had to lay them against the sliding glass door to have privacy. The room was very clean and spacious but business was horrible. I was charged for 2 rooms in addition to the room I stayed in and paid for before-hand. Good value in decent location. However, maintenance of hotel was poor. Pieces of verticle blinds fell off, shower insert needed replacing, deck needed sanding and repainting. There was no hotel info in room and no one could provide a TV listing which did not match the Comcast listing. Breakfast was poor, ice maker did not work. I got a 40% discount while booking on hotels.com. That made this a wonderful value. The suits are large with every thing an apartment suit would offer. I traveled with my handy cap 7 years old and he had enough room to move around without banging around the walls or furniture. Breakfast was included and it included a good selection of hot and cold items. […] The location was comfy and a 10-20 minutes drive to everything, including downtown Baltimore. When we first arrived to the hotel it was great. then we got to the room, which is a great layout. 2 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, kitchen, living room and dining room. Just what we wanted. We put our luggage into the seperate rooms, then sat down on the coach, which we sunk into, We fixed that with the extra blanket, Ican adjust to that. Then we turned […] on the TV in the living room, no picture, just scribble and missing batteries in the remote, called the desk someone will be there to fix it, we waited over an hour, called again, waited, then called again and this time they brought batteries and new remotes but still no repair pwerson, so we went to the staore came back and still not fixed, we asked for a room change. Repacked suitcases and over to the next townhouse room, it had an odor but said we'll air it out, it is close to 9 pm now. After i put my clothing out again, and closed the curtains, I found dried white vomit, by the curtain, had a broken drawer for the dresser and finally figured out the smell, urine. I'm tired I don't care at this point. Next morning the towel bar breaks. As we left for the day, I complained to the front desk and she said it would be taken care of that day. When we returned at midnight, it wasn't. The next day, I bought odor remover for animal urine and that did the trick for that night we again got in very late but at least prepared for the smell. Also no dish towel for dish washing, and no soap either, but the staff did run the dishwasher to clean everything we used daily. When we checked out they asked about the stay and I told them everything that had accured. This person actually wrote everything down, like she really cared, also gave me a discount on our stay. The hotel staff was wonderful but the room was in very poor condition. Mold around the tub, stains on the carpet ,walls were dirty, kitchen appliances were broken, and problems with the toilet.

The rooms are very spacious, but need a major facelift. There was no internet access and no wireless signal. For the first two nights we didn't have enough pillows, only 4 pillows for 6 people. They finally took some from an empty room. We had to request extra towels each time too. The first room we were given was pretty dirty, so they moved us to another […] room and told us that the next day another room would be ready for us that was recently renovated. That room never became available. We got good deal from Hotels.com for the size of the room and having a full kitchen was really nice, but there wasn't as much privacy in the room as we had hoped for. I had a confirmed reservation for a 2-bedroom suite. The hotel not only had my first name incorrect but had a reservation for a studio suite. They said the 2-bedroom suites were all taken and the few others were being rennovated. The room was very 'tired' and needed rennovation work. The deadbolt was broken, the telephone did not work, and the woodwork […] was shabby. Too bad because the exterior makes a very inviting appearance. However, the staff was courteous and pleasant. The Hotel was situated 25 minutes from our daughters home, which made it perfect for us. The staff and facilities were excellant. The room was better than expected. We will certainly be staying there again so long as we can get the same deal we did this time. Mr D Crossman

Very nice, except that we were caught in traffic and had ahard time majking a connection with the hotel to let them know we'd be late. There did not be a real connection with the given number to make such a call. Secondly, the insulation around the door was not correct so very cold air and some bugs crawled came in . Thirdly the blinds were hung ,but […] not with a curatin so passersby could see into the room. We hung extra sheets at the door and windows. . We purchased logs for the fireplace ,but was that it was no longer the season for using them even though it was in the thirties out side.
