Staff was very polite and friendly. Any and everything that you may have needed was easly accessible.

We stayed 14 days. We did the Disney parks for 7 days plus 2 water parks. Downtown Disney for a day. Took 2 days off and went shopping. Took another day off and drove to Cocoa Beach, about an hour away. As you can see, our days were pretty long. It was awesome to go back to Bahama Bay Resort after all day. It was very spacious and gated on entrance. […] We will definitely be staying there again on our return in Orlando in about a couple of years. We probably will not even look for another location. We checked in late at night and received good service from the staff. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly in the comfortable, clean rooms. They need to upgrade and upsize the TV's. They were too small for the size of the rooms. We will surely stay there again.

The rooms were nice and clean. The service at the restaurant was ok not great. Here is what I mean. At tradewinds restaurant I asked for a grey goose and tonic and was told by the waitress that she didn't know if the bar had tonic. So then I asked for a grey goose and soda with a twist of lemon, and the waitress asked me what kind of soda I wanted. […] That's the mentality! The hotel took a $200 credit from my card and said that it would instantly be credited back on check out. Seven days later there is a charge not a credit for $200 which is holding up checks. I spoke with the bank and they told me it was a definate charge not a credit!!!! So now I called Bahama bay resort and they are telling me that it doesn't exist and they never told me that I would instantly get my credit back that I depends on the bank! Great hotel but if you aren't staying long it isn't worth the steep cleaning fee.

The resort is a great place to stay. This would be my second time staying at the Bahama Bay. The only thing that i did not like was that the people from downstairs were complaining about the noise. I specifically sugested a first floor villa but according to the front desk we were young adults that can go up the stairs. the security went to our door […] about 3 times every other night. This resort was beautiful. It was of the beat path but not to far from everything! I had an amazing time with my fiance just hanging on our balcony and in the room. The rooms were very nice, but needed updating on the TV's if you plan on being in the room. The only bad thing I could say was that on top of the good price you pay for the room, make sure […] you have some extra money handy. They put a 200 hold on your card for incidents if any. They release it upon checkout but it still hurts holding that chunk of money. My sister and I were in Florida on buisness. What a great place to stay!! It made us feel as if we were in our home. Everyone was very friendly, the grounds were beautiful, and the pools were very relaxing. I would recommend this lovely resort to everyone staying in the area.

We stay at the Resort for one night. Have to pay $80 for standard cleaning service charge.

the staff at the hotel were all very friendly. there was a lot of space and the grounds were beautiful. we the pools and facilities. the only incident we had was someone came into the room when they thought we has checked out and took some groceries and laundry detergent. other than that, I would recommend this resort to others, it was very comfort […] able! This is a nice hotel....However the hotel cleaning fee (almost the same price of the one day/8 hour stay) should not have been charged...Considering that I only used one bed for 8 hours, and used one bathroom....not the secong bedroom nor the kitchen!!!

Very good time and very good value. Plenty of room for all of my family to have a great time.

If you stay here a less than a week I wouldn't recommended it, just because their 85 dollar cleaning fee is high. I paid the fee for two days and received a room that had dirty floors and moldy/stained curtains, and other things that should have been cleaned better. For a fee that high, a clean room is expected. However, I don't think it would change […] my opinion about staying there again, I would stay if I where staying longer and hopefully receive a cleaner room, because the overall price and location is not bad at all. There were 10 of us staying here and we had plenty of room. We stayed here and drove to Legoland. The drive was about 30 minutes, but really wasn't bad. We didn't have a lot of time since we spent the day at Legoland. Clean, spacious accommodations for our family- 4 adults and two toddler aged children. Full sized kitchen, 2 bathrooms. Only wished it was closer to Legoland which we were headed... about 40 minutes. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Rooms are not soundproofed and loud..sleep interrupted both nights. The location is out of the way to the Orlando Parks and Legoland. The beds were very uncomfortable and would not recommend. There is a hidden $85 cleaning fee they throw on you at check in which was not disclosed or negotiated in the rate on hotels.com. I will not ever stay again!

Located on the west side of Hwy 192. Close to the main Disney entrance. We selected this location because its between Disney and the new LEGOLAND attraction. Fairly clean grounds and rooms. One living cockroach in the kitchen. The kitchen pantry door was off the track and leaning against the frame.

Very nice place & friendly staff. Only negative was the $65 cleaning fee charged even if only a one night stay. My wife said the mattress in the master bedroom was a little hard, but I had no problem sleeping. There were no ceiling fans in bedrooms 2 & 3. the rooms were good sized & everything was as advertised. it was very close to a super walmart. minor complaint - we could connect to the free wifi from the room. but, the signal kept of dropping. some of the cooking utensils also needed replacement. overall, very good value.

Excellent place to take your entire family. Great rooms, plenty space and full everything. My family had a great vacation in this place. Two Pools and two Restaurants inside the resort. Not to easy to find but it worth what we paid for.

This is an excellent resort to stay we came from Canada and everything was perfect here 5 stars!

Enjoyed the extra room. The price was great. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/tupperware/dishes/silverware. All for the same price as a regular hotel room!

A Great Place to stay. The 3 Bedroom Condo was very convenient for my Family. The amenities within the facility were a great retreat when we wanted to just stay home and relax. The staff were very courteous and friendly. The rooms were clean and neat and felt like home.

We recently stayed at this hotel for the location and price. The apartment/ condo style resort was different than a traditional hotel. There were no elevators to begin with, the buildings were 3 stories high, just stairs to contend with, their website did not reveal this. The place we got had an old TV set which needed to be updated. The kitchen as […] clean but the pots available were only stainless steel so be careful when cooking so your foods don't stick. The plastic cooking utensils were just adequate. No dishwasher soap except for 1 pack was available. The clubhouse pool was nice, you were able to swim until very late at night. The location was convenient when going to Disney World, just about 15-20 minute drive, close to restaurants, groceries. The staff was helpful at the front desk. House keeping were not visible at our entire stay but you are required to pay a daily cleaning fee plus the resort fee separate from your bill. This is a wonderful resort with great amenities. The resort was quiet and had a beautiful serene setting. Everything was well maintained and very clean. We were close to all of the attractions; disney, universal and sea world, although the pools and childrens play center at the resort kept us busy during our stay as well! We chose this resort because it offered a 3-BR unit for a very competitive rate and its website made it look like lots of fun for the young children in our party. I wouldn't say I regret choosing this property, but it didn't quite live up to expectations. The pools were fine, but nothing special, and there are NO kids' pools on the property. In what […] the hotel calls the 'kids area,' there is a mushroom that sprays water into a 2-inch pool of water, but it's not a place where a small child can swim. The kids area also has one piece of playground equipment. Otherwise, kids have to entertain themselves in a regular pool with a 3-foot shallow end. This resort advertises free DVDs for the whole family, which seems like a perk, but the selection is very limited, especially in the kids' movies. The unit itself met our needs and was clean, but there was nothing remarkable about it (e.g., old-style tube TV, paper-thin bed and bath linens, slightly dated decor). The only consumables provided in our unit were limited toilet paper and one roll of paper towels, and there is no replenishment during your stay. There is no dish soap, handsoap, cleaner of any type, coffee filters, etc. so be sure to bring everything or stop at the grocery store nearby. The location was a bit remote, but if you have a car, it's only a 10-15-minute drive to grocery stores, restaurants, and Orlando attractions. If you're looking for a basic place that's clean and spacious and you're not planning to spend tons of time poolside or looking to be entertained by the resort's offerings, this place might serve you well. The resort was very close to the parks. The condo had everything I needed, very comfortable beds, spacious rooms and the service was excellent. I would certainly stay there again and have already recommended it to some friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bahama Bay. The rooms were spacious and provided more than enough room for our family of 3 adults and 3 children. The location is somewhat removed from most of the resort attractions and that was both a plus and minus. We will definitely stay at there again!

This was a beautiful place to stay. Our townhouse was very close to the club house and the property is beautiful. The only problem we had was the beds, they were some of the worse we have all slept on. They creaked and were hard, I called the front desk and they said they were changing out beds in all the rentals. They brought in new mattress pad covers […] for the queen beds (not quite sure how that would work since they are not padded) Other than the beds the place was great. Beautiful place, very spacious, we liked the main pool and hot tub open til 11pm, wished the other smaller pools would be open longer than 7 or 8 pm specially at this time when it gets dark late, close to grocery store, quiet and clean. Just wish the numbers on the buildings be more visible. My biggest complaint is trying to find the place. It is not easy to find for first time guests. Other than that, we thought the rooms were very spacious and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. It took us about 10-15 minutes to get to the main gate. Universal City Walk took us about 20 or so minutes to get to. Our family of (6) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cost of the rooms relative to a regular hotel was incredible for what we got. Just be aware of the maintenance and housekeeping fees, which were no problem since we stayed for a week. Also, there are no elevators to 2nd or 3rd floors, so if you have trouble with stairs, it could cause a problem. Everything was great! They can make the mattresses a bit more comfortable. Honestly, no complaints for the price.

The hotel was nice, was not feeling great after reading other reviews and the additional cleaning fee, which we knew about after reading this site. We got to our room - the only things I cared about this weekend (NFL draft weekend) was a good working tv and WIFI. To begin with the TV would not give any volume and the picture was actually pink. I called […] maintenance - they replaced the TV for me on the spot. After my daughter had apparently developed a stomach bug, and was getting sick all over her room, they sent out a cleanign crew within the half hour. The staff could not have been nicer. We highly recommend this place and they are in the process of renovating the TVs in each of the rooms. Everything was good, exept they do not have an elavator.

Resort was easy to find and far enough from major hghiway to avert traffic noise. mattresses on beds were very hard and noisy, some algae on patio screens wtth mildew on ground and mosquitoes swarming. there are extra charges (cleaning, etc). applied when you get there. Also the restuarant on the resort adds tips into the bill and if you can see very well you double tip (twice) for average food.
