The Atrium Resort - Virginia Beach

Awesome place, most definitely will have to visit again and stay. Staff was so nice and courteous. Nice indoor pool and spa. Booked a adjoining one bedroom suite and loved everything in them. Very clean and comfortable. We were surprised it was so spacious (living room, kitchen, bedroom) and had full kitchen and all cooking utensils, etc. Very close to the oceanfront, perfect for walking because driving around the area is too hectic. This hotel was emaculate! The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans etc. The hotel staff were very friendly and always greeted you with a smile. This hotel was only 2 blocks from the boardwalk-not even a 5 minute walk. They have complimentary washer/dryer also. We have stayed in many of the hotels along the beach over the years and we were very pleased with the accommadations. The one bedroom suite was very clean, seemed to have been newly painted, new bathroom and well stocked kitchen area. We used the pool which maybe could use bigger poolside towels. We stayed at the atrium resort for three nights the first week of August and we were very satisfied with the home like atmosphere of the rooms. The kitchen, the bedroom, the dining area, and the bathroom all are spacious and doesn't give you that claustrophobic sense of small hotel rooms. Our son enjoyed the two flat screen tvs. One each in the bed […] room and the dining area. It doesn't have a balcony but we didn't miss much. The staff by name Cecilia on the day shift and the lady on the night shift were very nice and courteous. We liked the hotel enough to extend our stay by one more day but unfortunately it was a friday and they were already booked for the weekend. My girlfriends and I were looking for an affordable place to stay in VA beach for a weekend. I am always apprehensive about staying somewhere new, but we were so pleasantly surprised with the Atrium Resort. It's a short walk to the beach from the hotel. The staff was kind and helpful. The beds seemed new and were comfortable. There is a living area […] when you walk into your room w/ a sleeper sofa (very comfortable), table & flat screen tv. Then a small kitchen w/ large fridge, sink, and even a stove-top. There's a spacious bathroom, and then a bedroom w/ queen bed & flat screen tv that you can close the door to. My family & I really enjoyed our stay @ Atrium Resort being a block away from the beach was a plus :-). I have never stayed anywhere that was so clean they didnt clean your room daily but provided everything u needed to maintain your room& you could exchange your linens daily for clean ones, & provided free onsite laundry facilty,discounts for local […] attractions & activities. The only issue I had was when booking this resort on hotels.com it never mentioned that there is a required $100 security deposit upon checking into resort no acceptions. Since this is Atrium resort policy this information in my opinion should be provided upon booking this resort, My overall stay @ Atrium was wonderful & our boys loved it. This hotel was absolutely amazing! It was beautiful, and within walking distance of the beach. The pool is pretty small but honestly, who wants to go to the pool when the beach is so close? The only small complaint that I had was that the trash wasn't emptied daily-and this was only because my friends and I wanted to save money by bringing food for […] breakfast and lunch, so we had a LOT of trash from wrappers and things. We just stayed over the weekend. It wasnt to bad for the price. The staff didnt really care what people did. I have two small children and they fall asleep early. we checked in about 11pm and there were two older kids about 10-12yr olds running and screaming inside down the hall right past us. There were staff walking around and no one said anything […] to them. They also didnt control there parking very well. I use a double stroller for my kids and when we went outside to use the ramp out of the side of the building there was a truck parked there out whole stay infront of the ramp overtop the handicapped cross walk. Over all it was ok for the stay, a few things wrong with the room, bathroom door handle wasnt sucurred to the door and there isnt a lock on the front door besides a rod one on the top so it still opens up about two inches, if u dont watch small children this could cause bad damange for smashing arms/fingers anything.. I didn't realize this hotel would have a full kitchen, and a separate dining/living room. For the rate we paid, this was a fantastic deal. The only problem we had was that there was an odd creaking coming from the ceiling in the bedroom, almost like the wind outside (was a very windy weekend) was shaking the building. But that was very minor.

I've stayed in multiple resorts and hotels. The Atrium has been my worse stay. The room was in need of repair and had a bad smell. They are currently renovating. If you book a stay at this resort, make sure you are not placed on the first or second floors. The other floors have been renovated and are in good shape.

it sucks

I wasn't expecting much since the price was fairly low for an efficiency, but location was great and overall service was good. This was a family trip to VA Beach. The hotel was full of families, so no issues with noise. Hotel is located two streets from the beach so close enough to walk, but not too close to be impacted by noise. The Atrium is a small "self-serve" resort it has all the basics you need for people who love the beach. The rooms were good size for four active adults. The kitchen was better than expected and you can prepare snacks and light cooking at ease. The rooms and bathroom were clean. The is hotel is old, the price is right

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Virginia Beach. The Atrium is within walking distance of so many interesting spots. My husband and I were there for 5 nights at the end of June, beginning of July and could not have asked for a better vacation. We went to the beach daily and every evening would go down to see the street performers and visit the various […] bars. The hotel is very clean. The hotel was very nice! The room had been recently renovated - all new appliances, new paint, flat-screen TV's, updated decor/fixtures, etc.. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Tout est impécable, par contre les seuls inconvénients sont pas de balcon et manque de crochets pour suspendre serviettes de plage, maillots, etc.

Hotel des plus convenable pour un sejour, près de la plage, de l'activité nocturne, des restaurants, les condos sont propres et fonctionnel, les personels très courtois dévoués respectueux, petit pmbre au tableau, manque d' éclairage en raison qu'il n'y qu'une fenêtre donnant sur l'extérieur. pour ceux qui aiment les avions c'est génial des f15 au 10 […] minutes wow. voila c'est un endroit que je recommande Merci Lisätietoja
