My wife and I stayed at Hotel Wailea from March 26-28. We had done some research before booking and were happy that we did. This hotel isn't a convenient hotel where you can walk to the beach. You will need to either take a complementary shuttle from the hotel or drive yourself. That would be my only con. Free Mai Tai hour by the pool was pretty sweet. The breakfast included was decent as well. Especially that yummy Island juice they serve. This hotel was absolutely beautiful and romantic. We would absolutely stay here again the next time we are in hawaii. The hotel and staff go out of their way to make your stay a good one. If you are looking for a romantic place to stay... this is it. It isn't right on the beach, but it is very close. We were there for three nights and loved our room, the surroundings, the view, the services, the serenity. The only negative was iffy wifi. The modem in our room was not working but fortunately I was able to log on via another room's network. Staff was outstanding. Golfcart transportation to our room was always prompt and courteous. Absolutely beuatiful setting and surrounding gardens. Rooms were wonderful. Views terrific. Staff top notch. Restaurant first class and unique garden setting tables available.

The bellmen and the front desk people were super and VERY helpful. Whenever we had to take the shuttle the driver was more than helpful and very prompt. I asked for a fan, (the menopausle issue) and got one the second nite. It worked 2 of the 4 nites that we were there. The only thing that I was surprised about and disappointed that I did not know about […] was the $25.00 charge per day. We don't have internet devises, and we had rented a car so we would not have had to use the shuttle, but felt as tho we should since we were paying for it. As for the breakfast, it would have been nice to have had hard boiled eggs, something other than all carbs (the breads were delicious and the fruit) but again it was all carbs. We ate there simply because we found out that we were paying for it in the $25.00 daily fee. I don't know if I would be back to your hotel, however, the people who I have mentioned above were great. We used to stay at this property when it was called the Diamond Resort. We love it, and the walk down to the beach is not very long. There is a great Irish pub on the Blue golf course, which my husband and I love!! Since the change in name and ownership, several amenities were added and they are wonderful. The pictures of the room on the website are very deceiving, although the lobby and the hotel grounds are amazing; the rooms were old, and grungy. Who ever took the pictures of the room for the website must have been the best photographer because the real deal looked nothing like it. The hotel staff could use a course in customer service. The front desk […] staff did not seem interested in helping us and were condescending when they did. This hotel is no0t close to the beach. You have to take a hotel van every time you want to go to the beach and when you get there the beach chairs reserved for this hotel is limited for this hotel is limited Pros: Great views of the ocean and great lobby area. The restaurant onsite was great. Cons: Pool area left a lot to the imagination, the spa is limited and coed which can be weired when people decide not to wear clothes and the rooms were very old style and grungy, not worth the price. Located on the hill overlooking the town of Wailea, the Hotel Wailea has wonderful views of the offshore islands and the West Maui mountains. The setting is utterly tranquil, especially in the mornings. The beach is admittedly a short walk away, but this is more than compensated for by the views and the ambience. Highly recommended.

I would define it more than hotel a good villas renting service. Our room was nice, nice view, nice kitchen and quite big. All furnitures were good. Weakness were mainly the services that you expect from an hotel: breakfast, in room dining and frigobar. Breakfast (we had it included) was just fruit and croissant basically; very poor. We went once than […] we went to an external cafè to have a real breakfast. We asked once for in room dining we had a ridiculous lunch box style delivered in a bag. It was more a picnic dinner than a in room dining. frigobar in the room was empty, we just received 2 bottles of water during checkin. So if you don't need an "hotel style service" difinetivelly it is very good, probably better for long term stay where you cook stuff by yourself. The Hotel Wailea had a very helpful & accommodating staff. The apartment was huge and well presented - with a lot of attention to detail from housekeeping - eg. fresh flowers on the towels. However, it is the grounds & views from the Wailea that were, quite simply, out of this world. Every day you could see their team of gardeners working to upkeep […] the meticulous land. If you stay here - be clear - it is NOT on the beach; they provide a shuttle (we just drove). The serenity of the grounds meant this didn't feel like a disadvantage. Visiting an island as beautiful as Maui - the only difficulty we found was wanting to enjoy the Wailea - but also explore beyond. We will have to stay longer next visit. Brilliant experience. The 4 unit clusters amid lush, verdant grounds gave an intimate feel that was just what I was looking for. The Hotel Wailea is a great hotel that far exceeded our expectations. the only thing lacking was being on the ocean, which was made up for by the great ocean views and the beach club access. The rooms were very large and comfortable with separate living and sleeping area. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

We stayed in Kaanapali for first half of our trip and ended it in Wailea at Hotel Wailea. Can't beat the happy hour at Capische, nor the food! 2011 restaurant of the year and service was impeccable. Close proximity to 4 seasons, grand Wailea and beaches. The service and friendliness of the staff was outstanding (the best out of 3 hotels we stayed at during our trip), and the grounds and pool area were beautiful. The rooms are spacious, and clean. Our one disappointment was the kitchen area which was too small to comfortably prepare meals if you plan to do so, and could do with a slight decor update/splash […] of paint. The hotel grounds, pool and public areas were quite beautiful. Our room, a suite with an ocean view, was clean and comfortable although a little dated. The hotel was not on the beach nor within reasonable walking distance although the hotel provided a shuttle to and from Wailea beach (about a 5 min drive). Everything for us was perfect.The room was huge with Asia style tub/shower, large patio with almost 180 view and small kitchen.The Japanese style spa with several options was over the top.Several connected hot pools,saunas,water fall and individual shower areas, wow!! The hotel grounds at Hotel Wailea make this place a real joy. The swimming pool surrounded by gorgeous cabanas and the spa, which faces West is a great place to enjoy the sunset. We were going for the first time to Maui, to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and renew our vows. After making the reservation for Hotel Wailea, I contacted them to ask questions about where to get my hair done, etc. They were extremely helpful. Christine on the front desk gave me information, email addresses, etc. She genuinely seemed happy to […] be a part of our celebration. When we arrived, she was on the front desk and it was like greeting an old friend. She advised that they had "upgraded our room" from a partial ocean view to a full ocean view. SPECTACULAR is all I can say! When we got to our room, we had a card congratulating us from the hotel, along with a nice assortment of chocolates. Christine also called to advise that she had confirmed our dinner reservations at the adjoining restaurant, Capische? and had ensured that we had a private, well situated table on the lanai. Christine and the Hotel Wailea helped make us feel so special on this very special occasion. The following morning, a continental breakfast was included. I went thinking it would be the usual "hotel fare" of bakery made mini muffins and pastries. I was again pleasantly surprised to see the array of fresh baked goods including breads, scones, muffins, bagels, etc., fresh squeezed juices and coffees, etc. The attendant even offered to go and find me a tray so I could take portions back to my room for my husband. The complimentary yoga in the pool area was beautiful to watch - like what you see on upscale yoga sessions in tropical areas - beautiful setting! Hotel exceeded our expectations. We only stayed one night there on the front end of our trip. We had a great ocean view room (obstructed by building). It had a nice size living room with a great bedroom both with flat screen tvs. Long walks from your villa to the parking area and front of hotel. 以前のメンバーシップ時のサービスはすべてなくなりました。いい意味でも悪い意味でもアメリカナイズされた感じです。でも、この価格とロケーションなら納得です。会員時の年会費よりも安く利用することができうれしく思います。また、ワイレア地区は風裏にあたるため、午後からでも強風が吹き続くことはありません。ゴルフメインで考慮するなら最高ですね。

サービスとしてはあまり良くないと思います。 まず３名で予約を入れたにも関わらず、毎日バスタオル等は２名分しか用意されていませんでした。初日にリクエストして言ったにも関わらずです。また、コンドということでキッチンはついていましたが、鍋等はなかったため、料理は全くできません。お湯すら沸かせない・・・部屋のコーヒーメーカーも湧かず。これには参りました。 日本語が話せるスタッフがいるとのことでしたが常駐ではありません。ほとんどいないと思った方が良いでしょう。そのため、英語ができない方が宿泊するのはお勧めしません。 ホテル内のレストラン、ガイドブックに掲載されているようなところでしたが、味はそれほどでは・・・ロケーションは良かったと思いますが、コストパフォーマンス悪いです。 唯一ここで良かった […] のはスパ。 ほとんど人はいなく、その割には日本の温泉的な感じで広いため、ゆったり過ごすことができました。 シュノーケリングで冷えた身体にはとてもよかったです。 全体的に言えば、何をするにも車が必要ですので、レンタカーを利用しない方、歩いて街歩きをしたいという方には不向きなホテルです。 Lisätietoja

Das Hotel liegt 'weit weg' am Rande einer künstlichen aber gepflegten Umgebung. Das erste Mal nicht ganz einfach zu finden. Wir hatten eine Oceanview Suite mit schöner Aussicht, schade war, dass bei diesen Zimmern die Hauptstrasse sehr nahe vorbeiführt. Die Einrichtung ist nicht mehr die allerneueste, es kann schon mal vorkommen, dass ein Fensterladen […] nicht funktioniert bzw. runterfällt und die Balkontüre klemmt. Die Anlage des Hotels ist sehr weitläufig und in einem sehr gepflegten und sauberen Zustand. Der Pool ist klein, da er aber fast von niemandem benützt wird ist dies kein Problem, Die Liegemöglichkeiten sind sehr hochwertig, vom 'Himmelbett' bis zur normalen Liege ist alles vorhanden. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkomment. Es besteht ein Cadillac-Shuttle zum kleinen Strand. Das Restaurant im Hotel ist nicht das, was wir uns von einem gehobenen Italiener erhofften aber die Stadt ist ja nicht weit und da gibts zahllose Möglichkeiten. Lisätietoja

ゆったりと過ごすには良いですね。ただプールのにぎわいはないし、サービスは限られていてリゾート的要素は少ない。多分リゾートのシェアホルダー的存在だったのでしょう。例えばスパも華やかな雰囲気はないし、BARもまぁないに等しいでしょう。家族とコテージでゆっくりというにはよいのでしょうが、リゾートの雰囲気を期待するのはちょっと。 それと部屋のバスが仕切りなしというのはどうでしょうか？ スタッフは皆親切でいいですよ。

Vi stannade i 9 dagar på dena underbara plats och kommer definitivt åka tillbaka. Vi hyrde bil och åkte runt nästan hela ön och Wailea var helt klart den finaste platsen på ön. Hotellet i sig var jätte bra utmärkt service, och trevlig personal. Stort plus för god frukost och riktigt effektiv städpersonal.
