We liked the hotel very much. It was in a quieter part of Toledo but very accessible to the square, many shops and restaurants, and the trail along the river.

Excellent location, helpfull staff, good value.

Great hotel, very roomy feeling due to the light colored halls and rooms. It is an old building but is modern inside, but keeping the old style that makes this a very pleasant blend with the rest of the old Toledo. The location is also very nice, towards the south of Toledo's historic center, but easy access to any place. There is even a small supermarket a few meters up the adjacent street. The room was very comfortable and roomy, and even though the room had a window to the hotel's main entrance, it was quiet at night. The bathroom was very clean and neat. Staff could be nicer, but they were nice enough for my needs. Of all my Spain trip, this was my favorite hotel. Definitely recommended.

This was a great choice for us. The price was very reasonable, even considering the additional charge for the garage. The hotel was not hard to find, despite being very close to the center of the city. The garage is very secure and right next door making unloading and loading quite easy. The building, though rambling, has been beautifully renovated bringing modern facilities into a historic building, while keeping many of the original features. Our room, though not terribly large, was so well laid out that it functioned better than many larger rooms we've stayed in. Everything was clean, comfortable, and functioned well. The staff were helpful, giving us clear directions and recommending interesting places to eat. The location was wonderful for walking to all the usual places. It is within a stone's throw, too, of the Sinagoga and the Museo de Victorio Macho, two sites we might otherwise have failed to see on our brief visit. Both are well worthwhile!

Hotel is in a quiet area in the old part of Toledo, within walking distance to many historic sites. This is a very small hotel that was originally a bakery. They have two classes of rooms, standard and superior. Standard rooms are in the old part of the hotel while the Superior rooms are in the new section and are modern with no old world charm. I didn't know this when I booked the room. Our Superior room was small with a small, but well equipped bathroom. The room was somewhat dark and there was no view from the window. This would not be a good choice for travelers who spend significant time in the room. Breakfast was adequate and staff was receptive to questions. Easy taxi ride from train station and there was a garage for guests with cars.

We were very pleased with our stay here. Price was reasonable, location was great. Everything was walking distance from here.

nothing fancy - a steady performer - we stayed in the new wing which was pretty nice. location is good and parking is convenient. good value.

just came back from a cruise/spain trip over 4 weeks (june 08) - stayed on 8 hotels + cruise ship. almost all of the hotels don't have room clocks, many didn't have washcloths, and virtually all don't have ice machines (some will get you ice, some won't, some will charge), most or all hotels had 2 twins (most my wife and i had to stick together ourselves), many offer internet somehow, but most charge. i think this one doesn't have internet. our group of 5 picked this hotel as one of our favorites. the hotel was wonderfully decorated with lots of wood trim, plants, pottery, artwork, so a lot of "lobby and hallway appeal". lobby was fairly small, sitting maybe 4-6 people with baggage. easy access from train by cab (6 euro). toledo, the hill, is pretty small so everything is in walking distance, but this hotel is off to the side so a little further from the center of action. you can get maps from the front desk and/or tourist offices - bring a compass, it is easy to get lost. desk was helpful in pointing out restaurants - la perdiz was very good and very close. close to several tourist spots, sandwich shops, small grocer, tourist shops etc. el greco museum is closed for rebuilding - looks like at least a year away. steps from a park with a beautiful view of the river. rooms were larger than most - comfy, clean, attractive. definitely a good experience and i would stay there again, esp for what we paid (compared to madrid/barcelona) - you get a better room for 1/2 or less the price and we loved toledo.
