Hotel Repubblica Marinara - Pisa

Olimme hotellissa yhden yön, jonka perusteella Hotel Repubblica Marinara oli varsin siisti ja mukava perushotelli, jossa oli runsas ja maittava aamiainen. Puuro vain puuttui. Hotelliin on keskustasta reilun viiden minuutin bussimatka (Pisan kolme bussilinjaa on sivumennen sanoen helppo ottaa haltuun, lippu maksaa 1,10 euroa). Hotelliin kävelemistäkin […] kokeiltiin, meni 15-20 minuuttia. Nimestään huolimatta merta ei näy mailla halmeilla, merellisiä tauluja ja muuta rekvisiittaa kuitenkin on näkyvillä. Hotellin vieressä on melko iso tie, ja vaikka huoneemme ikkunat olivat tielle päin, ei melua ollut nimeksikään, sillä ikkunan äänieristys oli hyvä. Jonkin verran meteliä tuli hotellin ylitse matalalta lentävistä lentokoneista, ei kuitenkaan häiritsevästi. Vastapäätä hotellia näytti olevan keskikokoinen ostoskeskus. Hotelli on uudehko, joten huoneetkin ovat siistissä kunnossa. Oma huoneemme oli tilava ja ihan mukava. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke very good english. The choice at breakfast was wonderful and the service exceptional. There was a bus stop directly outside which had regular buses every 10 minutes during the day which meant that it was easy to travel around the city and to the station for transport further.

The hotel is OK. Easy to find and park. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is great. The room could be improved but for this price it is fair enough.

very clean hotel and quiet, thought that the breakfast is bigger but sufficient, free drinking water every day, free computer with internet in the lobby, it is not in a walking distance from sight seeings so preferably one hire a car, free parking space.

The female receptionist on duty during the day is very helpful and knowledgable. The hotel is conveniently served by bus (Lam Blu) to Pisa Central Station but such information was not available on the hotel's website, we only found it out on arrival. The hotel location was only few minutes by car or bus to the leaning tower, very convinient. I would recomend it.

This is a nice hotel and provides excellent service. The breakfast is good and provides a large selection of both European and western type foods. It is a bit of a walk to the tower - about 40 minutes.

Only 10-15mins drive from Pisa airport and fairly easy to get to (considering the 1-way maze that is Pisa town centre). Hotel itself is clean & pleasant, but basic. It's about an hour's leisurely walk to the leaning tower but the town centre is better to be explored on foot anyway. This clean hotel has free parking and we liked the breakfast. I recommend that the hotel provides the rooms with free wi-fi internet.

great hotel , large rooms, clean and within 5 minute drive to monuments. a little difficult to find but service was very good and spoke english very well.

Perfect for an overnight stay with 2 children

Nice Big Rooms. Pleasant atmosphere. Reasonable rates. Only disadvantage is bit far from Pisa Railway station (10 min by bus/taxi) & (15min by bus/taxi) & wireless is available only in lobby & not in room

Hotel was nice and breakfast was good but the location was too far from the centre and the sights. Had to walk pretty far to get to any restaurants. Neighbourhood was nice but felt more like the outskirts.

Hotel Marinara is a 15 minutes walk from town. Buses are just outside the hotel so transportation to and from the hotel is very convenient. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel receptionists were very helpful and even went out her way to find information on traveling to Florence for us. The restaurant within the hotel were clean and comfortable. […] Ideal for a peace and quiet dinner. The waitor was polite, friendly and the food was delicious. Excellent hotel. Problem was finding it. The road signs and roads around Pisa were poor and the Internet map inadequate. We were saved by a student who led us there in her car! Otherwise great hotel and good restaurant. Lovely city - exceeded our expectations.

This hotel is a business-style hotel at a reasonable price. It is clean and modern and reception staff were helpful and friendly. For tourists, the major problem is the location; too far to walk to the tourist areas of town, although closer to the airport for taxi journeys. So the typical Italian cafe culture will need a taxi or bus to reach. The taxi […] fare was about 12 Euro, but a bus stops immediately outside the hotel and goes to the railway station for a fare of less than 2 Euro. I did not have a main meal at the hotel, so cannot comment. However, 5 minutes walk away is a very good restaurant/pizzeria, well supported by the locals at a fair price. I ate there twice and was totally satisfied with the service and the food. If I had a complaint it would be breakfast. I booked for full breakfast, but it did not exist as such.There was the usual buffet breakfast, perfectly adequate except the cooked parts, bacon and scrambled eggs, were popular and took ages to replenish, even after asking, twice. This hotel is an excellent value for quality provided. However it should be viewed as a business hotel rather than a tourist hotel as the main sites of Pisa are at least a 30 minute walk away. That being said, the room was large and well appointed, staff friendly and efficient and the breakfast quite good. There are restaurant options near the hotel […] reasonable and quite tasty. We were greeted by a pleasant lady at reception, a great start! Our room was fairly spacious, bed was comfy, bathroom clean. You can't ask for more really. The walls of the room were a bit dirty at some parts, looked like kids with dirty hands, but it didn't really bother us. Hotel had a computer with free internet, which was a bonus! Hotel was located […] outside of the towncentre, we had a vehicle so can't comment on how easy it was to get to town by public transport. Lovely hotel, very easy to find with a spacious quiet room. The staff were lovely, recommended a fabulous local pizzeria across the road. We were expecting to pay for parking and were allowed to park for free in the private car park. Fab breakfast in the morning to get your started.

The first room we were assigned had a problem with the A/C, The hotel was full, but the next day the staff was able to give us a room with A/C that worked.

Good location 5 mins from centre. Use Lam Blue to get there from Pisa Central train stn. Only 15 mins walk back on evening Good bars to stop off en route. Great room ac was a must in July. Easy to go to Florence and other places, used trains, cheap and on time.

The breakfast spread here was wonderful. In addition to an abundance of rolls, breads and cakes, there was fresh fruit, yogurts, cheese, salami, bacon and scrambled eggs. Breakfast was served daily until at least 9:30, and the staff was very attentive to keeping everything available. (The restaurant was NOT open for dinner, but there was a local pizzaria-trattoria […] just down the street.) The room was modern, spaceous (by European standards), well lit, and had power adapters for various countries. There was eithernet and wireless (no charge), as well as a single, no charge computer in the lobby. The rooms were QUIET. The staff spoke English well. The hotel is a long walk from historic Pisa, but the hotel is only a ten minute walk from the Palacio dei Congressi (Conference Center). By cab, it is about 15 Euros to the Leaning Tower, 10 to the main train station, and about 12 to the airport. If you want a hotel in the historic center of the city, this won't be your choice, but it is comfortable, clean, and convenient. This is a part of town that has been developed only in the past fifty years, but that has its advantages. There are nearby shops and restaurants if you need something in a hurry, and the hotel's restaurant is excellent.

Det var hyggelige betjenning i resepsjonen. Mye støy om natten, dårlig ventilasjon på rommene. Dårlig service ved frokosten, tidlig tomt av pålegg osv. Pluss for at det var nære bussholdeplass.

Jag rekommenderar verkligen hotel Repubblica Marinara om du är på bilsemester. Hotellet ligger i utkanten av Pisa och har parkering som ingår i rumspriset. Rummen var fräscha och sängarna bra. Priset är dessutom väldigt bra.

Instalações magníficas. Staff simpatiquíssimo. quartos amplos com excelente casa de banho e optimo serviço de limpeza. O acesso é fácil principalmente de automóvel, com parque de estacionamento gratuito. O pequeno senão é a dificuldade para regular a temperatura do quarto ao gosto.

Hotel carino, stanza accogliente, personale competente e discreto. Solo un po' rumoroso visto che si affaccia direttamente sulla strada..Da ritornarci.

L'hotel è veramente di ottima qualità con personale accogliente e disponibile. Le camere sono sempre state pulite a regola d'arte. Consiglierei il piano terra nella parte con affaccio al parcheggio interno per chi preferisce silenzio e tranquillità. ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, il personale è gentile, efficiente servizio navetta con la stazione e l'aeroporto; bene l'accoglienza all'arrivo!

Sono stato presso Hotel Repubblica Marinara di Pisa dal 09/01/2012 al 13/01/2012; la stuttura è ben tenuta ed offre parcheggio interno ed internet free. La stuttura è situata in un quartiere commerciale non moltro centrale ma ben servito dalla LAM BLU (autobus). Il personale è gestile e disponibile, le uniche pecche che ho riscontrato sono il non corretto […] funzionamento dell'areatore in bagno e la finestra della camera (primo piano, in pratica pino terra) che si apriva solo a ribalta. Ottima qualità del servizio, personale attento e disponibile e servizio ristorante pregevole e tuttosommato conveniente. L'unica pecca è la lontanaza dal centro qualora si volesse spostarsi a piedi, invece risulta discretamente collegato mediante mezzi pubblici (ultima corsa 20:30).

I stayed for three nights here, and both the standard of the hotel and of the room was good. Excellent breakfast! A bit of walking to get to the more touristy parts of town, and few things to see or visit close to the hotel - no restaurants or bars - this is the only negative thing to say at all.

Premetto che soggiorno spesso in questo hotel perchè mi trovo spesso a Pisa e ogni volta ci ritorno perchè mi trovo bene, questa volta però mi dispiace dirlo ma ho avuto un'esperienza poco piacevole perchè dalla mia stanza è "sparita" una chiavetta usb che ricordo perfettamente dove avevo lasciato e in che posizione, però purtroppo sono quelle cose […] delle quali non puoi accusare nessuno perchè "come fai a provarlo"? Comunque ora ho imparato la lezione, la prossima volta userò le stesse premure di quando alloggio in un hotel che non conosco e starò attenta a non lasciare niente in giro per la stanza quando io non ci sono Lisätietoja

Ottimo Hotel, con camera accogliente e con servizio internet incluso. Ricco il buffet per la colazione.

Das Hotel liegt zu weit peripher, zusätzlich nachteilig ist Lage unmittelbar an einer viel befahreren Hauptstrasse. Für den nicht motorisierten Gast bestehen dadurch starke Nachteile.
