Tämä kahden tähden hotelli vastasi mielestäni kolmea tähteä Suomen arvosteluasteikon mukaan. Erittäin miellyttävä ja ystävällinen palvelu. Huone oli riittävän iso ja vaatteiden säilytystilat olivat asialliset. Sijainti lähellä rautatie- ja bussiasemia oli erinomainen.

Hotelli on erinomaisella paikalla korkealla kalliolla meren rannassa viehättävässä Shanklinin kylässä. Hotellista portaat suoraan alas rannalle, Shanklinin vanhan kylän puoli kivenheiton päässä. Merenpuoleisista huoneista on upea näköala. Hotellissa on mukiinmenevät sisä- ja ulkouima-altaat, poreallas ja minigolf sekä todella nätti puutarha, jossa kioskikahvio. Huoneet eivät ole mitenkään erityisen viihtyisät - kannattaa ehdottomasti ottaa näköalahuone tai premium näköalahuone, jos tässä hotellissa aikoo asua. Seinät ovat ohuet eli äänet kuuluvat hyvin huoneesta toiseen. Alempien kerrosten huoneisiin kuljetaan vähän kummallisesti ravintolasalin läpi. Hotellin englantilainen aamiainen keskitasoa.

Idyllinen pikkuhotelli, äärettömän ystävällistä henkilökuntaa. Auton sai hyvin parkkiin. Full English breakfast maittava; jos englantilaisista aamiaisista pitää. Arundelista hyvät yhteydet esim Brightoniin. Suosittelen.

The hotel is situated on the sea front close to all services, staff are very professional and friendly. wifi is free. Parking is a problem after six it is almost impossible to find parking.

The hotel commands a good surrounding view. There are many visiting points like beach, port, park, museum, etc.

Very polite service, bar food very good and the Hotelvery comfortable. The sunrise over the sea from the front rooms is worth the extra money. Two visits two glorious mornings.

we found the staff friendly &helpfull,room was comfortable ,bath room window could do with a blind if you'r modest. I must comend the staff for there efforts shown to all of us when the building opposite caught fire & we had to be evacuated to stay overnight elsewhere. In all excelent.

The Hotel, room and Staff were great but we found the late night noise along the sea front and pier outside impossible to sleep through when the nightclubs turned out. A shame. We cancelled our second nights stay and went elsewhere.

"Festival hotel."
Myself and my brother stayed here as it was a short distance to the Ferry port which was 5 minutes.Our stay was very nice,the reception was very helpful and overall our night here was very agreeable.And surprisingly quiet.

This hotel has a fairly grand facade and is nicely situated close to some amenities like the beach and canoe lake. The staff and service were outstanding however it is looking a bit tired in the decor department. I was in a front Balconey bedroom that didnt have a balcony, it needs new windows fitted as the draught howled in through them. "Portsmouth"
If you are going to Portsmouth stay here. The rate was extremely good and the hotel friendly comfortable and welcoming. The room I had was a single and a bit small but very comfortable. The hotel was quiet at night for sleep but had a fairly lively bar in the evening. The hotel is right opposite the pier and there is a great walk along the sea-front. Minor […] complaints: shower was not the most powerful (but still perfectly OK) and the bar prices were a bit steep. However overall I was impressed by the friendliness of the whole place and the general experience. I will be booking here again when I go to Portsmouth Lisätietoja
