Ei mitään huonoa muttei mitään erityisen hyvääkään. Huone oli todella pieni, mutta ihan siisti. Palvelu tympeätä. Aamiainen ok. Näyttää kaikissa hotelleissa Islannissa olevan kutakuinkin sama, eli hyvä. Vohveleita sai paistaa itsee, tuoretta leipää ja paljon hedelmiä. Huoneet taitavat olla aika erilaisia ko. hotellissa. My sister, boyfriend and I stayed in a triple. We had a small single room and a bigger room with a couch that flipped out to a bed. It was really comfortable, breakfast was included and was good, and the location was great. The people working the front desk were very helpful and nice. I would definitely stay here again.

we stayed at the Foss Baron for 3 nights four days. breakfast was good and plenty of it.Close to the main shopping street andthe main church,hotel staff very helpfull.Would recommend to others. The only critisim was not getting a double bed after requesting one but they made up for it by giving us a studio apartment.

The Fosshotel Baron is a good base for exploring Reykjavik providing you wish to be slightly away from the central district (which can get noisy at weekends). It is a slow 10-15 minute amble into the central district, so still convenient in that sense. The staff were ever so helpful with any query we had and spoke excellent English (just as well seeing […] as none of us spoke Icelandic). The breakfast provided by the hotel was excellent - continental style and as much or little as you wanted. Certainly set us up for the day ahead. The view over the sea is great and it was a joy to get up in the morning to see the sun, sea and mountains from our bedroom. Overall value for money was great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone wanting a base close to, but not right in central Reykjavik. Lisätietoja

This hotel was nice and clean. The service was good. It was close to the city center. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Easy to get to, the airport bus will take you there, and any and all tour operators will pick you up at the door. The main shops and downtown sights are within easy walking distance. The breakfasts were good, and plentiful and even when your departure time is really early - 5 am- there is breakfast available. thank you!! We found the hotel to be within walking distance of the harbor and downtown area. The staff was friendly and courteous but not particularly concerned whether we could find free parking in the limited capacity hotel lot. The room was clean but very small and over-filled with bulky faux french provincial furniture. There was no place to put a suitcase […] and we had to climb over our luggage and possessions to get into bed. The part of the hotel with loft ceilings that have only two skylights, though reasonably priced, should be avoided because you have no view and only the option of those over your bed for evening ventilation. Bathroom sink and shower very small and internet in room not available without paying for service. Suitable for short stays only.

I stayed for three nights on my way from Seattle to Frankfurt. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is good. Attention was paid to my dietary restrictions for breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable with great wifi connection.

We stayed in a triple which was nice and spacious with a large view out across the harbor. The location was great also - short walking distance to most everything, but off the main street. Good breakfast.

No frills, but friendly staff, clean room, very close to everything, rate includes breakfast, internet and parking. Breakfast not fantastic, but well, we are in Iceland, right.? The fact that the hot water did smell a little bit sulfur (it is supposed to be healthy) did not bother us. Can be recommended.

The lobby and hallways were a bit 1970´´s, but the rooms were decorated in a delightful French provincial style, modern and airy under a timber beam attic roofline. Breakfasts were ample and varied. The hotel is also close to the harbour, the main shopping precinct and restaurants. All in all, an excellent spot to stay

We liked the location of this hotel. It was only 2 blocks to the main shopping and entertainment area. Also a quick walk to downtown. It was quiet and we had a view of the mountains across the bay, from our balcony. The breakfast was great. And the resturant/bar was cute and open at good hours. Et veldig greit, rimelig hotell sentralt i Reykjavik. God service og informasjon i resepsjonen. Bra frokost med godt utvalg. Rolig om natten. Like ved Laugarvegur.

Nous sommes satisfaits de notre séjour à l'hôtel BARON. Cet hôtel est proche du centre ville tout en étant au calme. Les chambres sont simples mais propres. Le personnel est accueillant et disponible. Le petit déjeuner buffet est suffisant.. Attention aux personnes qui souhaitent aller à Reykjavik à Noël, tout est fermé pendant 2 jours !!!!

Vi er meget tilfreds med vårt 4-dagers opphold på hotellet. God service og positivt miljø.

Vi hadde greit rom i 5 etage med utsikt til fjorden og fjellene (tror nok at lavere etasjer ser rett i den ene husrekken mellom hotellet og sjøen). Greit å spasere langs handlegate ca 10-15 min til sentrum/gamlebyen. Frokosten var litt skuffende fordi det ikke var egg&bacon - ellers grei nok. Gode vaffler.

Chambre numéro 100 spacieuse avec Kitchenette et grand balcon sur la mer 2 bons lits simples mais le lit supplémentaire pour notre fils de 14 ans était un canapé lit très inconfortable alors que nous avons payé pour 3 personnes sans réduction

The service, food and location were nice, though, it seemed that the building and the rooms had a need for some more maintance.

Gutes preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Optimale Lage

Vi var en gruppe på 10 som besøkte Island 25 til 28 juli i år. Vi valgte Fosshotell Baron og angrer ikke. Sentrumsnært, men likevel stille om natten, utmerket frokost med mye mer enn vi trengte, hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Utfra standaren på hotellet synes vi det var et rimelig og meget bra valg.

På generelt grunnlag et bra og tilfredsstillende hotell på alle måter. Veldig fin beliggenhet i fohold til de sentrale områdene i Reykjavik. Gratis parkering av leiebil på hotelets oppmerkede plasser, selv om vi oppleve at alt var opptatt en kveld vi kom hjem. Rommet var romslig og bra, men det var dårlig TV dekning og veldig uskarpt bilde. ...men dette […] var egentlig ikke noe problem så lenge vi for det maste var ute av rommet. Ok, men rätt trist miljö både inne och utanför hotellet med panel av korrugerad plåt. Snålt att inte erbjuda gratis wifi som i princip alla hotell och restauranger har på Island.

Lage ist ruhig und doch zentral, ich würde wieder dort buchen, aber Preise je nach Aufenthaltszeitraum sehr variabel

Trevlig och hjälpsam personal, god frukostbuffé för ett trestjärnigt hotell och ett ytterst bra och centralt läge. Det kändes inte sådär sterilt rent och dammfritt som det annars brukar vara på hotell (och sjukhus) men det städades och byttes handdukar i rummet varje dag så det var egentligen inget problem. Kan absolut rekommenderas!

Schönes Hotel, wunderbar zentral gelegen, dazu schöne Zimmer, ein top Frühstücksbuffett mit frischen Waffeln. Gäbe es noch kostenloses W-Lan, wäre alles perfekt. Letzteres muss man leider extra erwerben und relativ hohen Preisen. Aber auf jeden Fall Daumen hoch für dieses Hotel

The hotel has a very good location. The reception crews were all very professional and helpful. The room (standard historic) was small and strange with only attic windows. bathroom also small. I dislike to pay for internett services even if some of it free.

Oppsummeres enkelt: Rimelig, rent og pent, hyggelig hotellbetjening, god mat, nær beliggenhet til mye interessant å besøke. Litt problemer med påfylling av rene kopper / fat ved fullt frokostrom.

Fin beliggenhet, god frokost, relativt romslige og rene rom med safe, hyggelig betjening. Har bare en ting å klage på - for myke madrasser.

meget bra hotell for den som liker opplevelser og vil avslappe i en god hotellatmosfere etter en travel utflukt. Rikholdig frokostbuefett, hjelpsom og vennlig personal, som er flerspråkelig. En excellent middelklasse hotell, som tar vare på sine gjester
