Great staff! Loved being able to borrow cruiser bikes. Plenty of private parking. Bed could have been more comfortable. There is a bit of traffic noise, too.

We were a late arrival and the gal gave us great instructions for after hours arrival and check in. First, the good stuff - the room was immaculate, decorated very well, great value for the price. Seriously, this is one of the cleanest rooms that I have ever stayed in. This hotel is great! The rooms are very clean and unique. The back patio would have been a great place to have coffee in the morning, but it was raining when we stayed. The breakfast place next door was perfect to get our day started as it opens early (7:30 I think) and was quite good. Attended a meeting at the Fairmont around the corner and wanted to save the company money. The rooms in this hotel were very nice. Antique looking furnture, everything functioned well. A very good value for the money spent.

The hotel is nice, small and, among the inflated prices of the wine country, is a reasonable value. The maids are very conscientous but the blankets looked like they needed a heavy wash: a bit off-putting.

If you are mainly looking for a location close to Sonoma, clean and affordable, this is a good choice. The part I didn't like is that the beds are queens instead of kings...especially since there was enough room for the larger bed. The layout was smart, though. I appreciated the little desk.

Clean but small. nicely decorated. Not easy to find at night. Nice diner next door. Ideal location to Sonoma downtown area.

Good price in quiet neighborhood. The restaurant was excellent on the grounds. Room was clean and dog friendly was important to us.

Pleasant overall experience. This is a great spot for those who want the convenience of a motel - park right in front of your room - with out the disadvantages of a cheap motel - because this place has charm and comfort. There was so much to do in the Sonoma area - I enjoyed the Olive Festival touring wineries and tasting olive oil and visited the near by mission. The two up stairs rooms look like they would be fun for a group - with a joint private balcony, but I was glad I stayed in the downstairs patio with charming fountain and the ability to walk steps into my room. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary in Sonoma and wanted to spend the night to avoid driving and drinking. We found the Sonoma Creek Inn on hotels.com and were overall very happy with it. Shana in the office gave us some complimentary wine tasting coupons that worked out very nicely. Really enjoyed the Benziger winery north of the hotel. The Inn was very nice and well maintained. We arrived late and the late night check in was easy and hassle free. One drawback was the mattress was far from comfortable and creaked with every move of your body

We loved our stay here. Booked this place because of the positive reviews and were not disappointed. We booked a patio room. Could not use the patio because it rained most of the time during our stay. The room was quaint and tastefully decorated. Most important - the room was clean, clean, clean. I stayed in Sonoma Creek inn from August 29-30 2011. The room I stayed was terrible. The bed stunk and the comforter smelt awful. I have seen bed bugs on my bed and it was very gross. The hotel didn’t really clean the room prior to my arrival, and I can still see stuff from previous occupants. Wifi signal was so small that, I could barely open any web […] browser. We stayed here after a long day of wine tasting, The room was nice and the bed wasn't too soft. The price was great for the area and it allowed us to book for only one night. The hotel staff could have been alittle nicer.

When we arrived at SCI I had the feeling something was strange, the neighborhood doesn't look good, and the parking lot is the same as in normal motels, but we had a nice surprise when we entered the Provence Style room. I felt this Inn was over priced.

Excellent place to stay. Clean rooms at a fair price. Best of all... knowledgeable, friendly staff. Also ... a real asset to the Inn is the Sonoma Creek Cafe`. The locals eat here. Friendly ... when we entered the cafe` we were immediately greeted, seated, and served coffee. We were greeted by the other diners and had friendly conversations with people […] at other tables. I always have a hard time booking in wine country because most lodging is really pricey and/or requires two-night minimum. I live in the Bay Area and like to make overnight jaunts up here. What a surprise to arrive at 9:00pm and find that the office closed at 8:00pm. I had to call a number, wait on hold for several minutes, and then receive instructions on how to find a key. Loved the get-away with my husband. Room clean, cute and roomy. Short drive to the shopping area. People working there are very helpful giving suggestions and maps. Definitely would return.

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel and would definitely stay there again if in town. Not as many amenities as one would would be used to, but that's what makes this a unique stay in the atmosphere of Sonoma's wine country...

We were pleasantly surprised with a great price, and a well maintained, comfortable room with a nice TV, wifi, refrig, and good sized bathroom. The ceiling fan and AC were a plus, though hardly needed. Great room rate too!

This hotel only has two stars in the rating, but it is a nice clean hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. The room we were staying in had a faulty smoke alarm, and the staff immediately relocated us to another room. The rooms are clean and tidy. The only downside is that the rooms are next to a road that during the day seems to have a bit of truck […] traffic. The traffic died down in the evening, so it didn't disturb our sleeping, but you definitely notice the cars during the day. Other than that, the location is good-off the main square, but not a problem with a car, and an easy drive to the wineries. This a great little Inn in a residential neighborhood in Sonoma. Easy place to stay and good proximity to all of Sonoma and wine country offerings! Great value for the price, and friendly staff.

The rooms are very nicely decorated & quite clean. The little cafe that is attached to the building was very good for breakfast & lunch. We had a balcony that was a shared balcony, if 2 couples requested those 2 rooms, could be fun. Balcony was over the parking lot but nice view in the distance. This hotel is in the city of Sonoma, about a 10 minute drive to the town square. It's actually not really near anything, and the neighborhood is somewhat run down. However, it does offer excellent connections to Napa (30 min) or Petaluma (20 min) if you want to go somewhere else.... The hotel is clean with tiled floors. This hotel was a cute little out of the way place seated along Sonoma Creek. There was a little noise from the traffic along a busy street outside the little patio out back, but nothing to keep you awake a night. For the price, this was everything we expected. Nothing to fancy, but perfect for a weekend in wine country.

This was a very dated hotel. Everything was clean but circa 1968. The AC unit jolted us out of sleep each time it kicked on. Staff was very nice however.

Each room in this hotel is different. Ours was peculiar in that there was no actual bathroom. There was a room with only a toilet which doubled as the closet as it had a pole with hangers. WHO wants to hang their clothes in a small enclosed area with a toilet?? Not me! The sink was in the open area across from the commode room. Also in the main room […] was a very small shower unit. Watch out if you drop your soap! Then in the middle of the main room was the bed and then not far from that, a free standing gas fireplace to heat the room. THen beyond that was a jacuzzi tub. We did have a lovely view of the cove and the breakfasts and dinner at the hotel were good. Really enjoyed the room, especially being able to sit out on the patio in the evening with our wine and cheese! Just a pity that the location is a little further out from Sonoma Plaza than we realised. Also, not all the staff were that helpful. Great breakfasts at the cafe next door though!

This was an incredible Inn that felt like home. When I arrived at the hotel, the customer services was exemplary and she had plenty of coupons and discount cards for local wineries. We had a brief but nice stay at Sonoma Creek Inn in August 2009. We were looking for affordable but safe, quiet and clean--and the place certainly met our expectations. I always look for reviews before booking at a place where I have not stayed before. Sonoma Creek is a very quaint Inn. I was a little apprehensive about this hotel since the rate was so low and since it has just two stars, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a great value for the money. Nice sized room, nice bathroom with room to put down your stuff. And it's a five-minute drive to the center of Sonoma.
