The Wyndam resort was awesome. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Ammenities very nice. Convenient location. One of my best stays anywhere.

Liked the hotel and everything about it except we were not told about wanting to take up our time to get us to buy into or whatever it was...we were not interested. We are seniors and have been around a long time and exposed to sales pitches in many areas over a number of years. We normally do not get drawn into this....it only took one time.

Other than check in time I loved everything about the hotel. I was very pleased!
MY FAMILY AND I WERE THERE ON EASTER WEEKEND 2012. WE REALLY ENYJOYED THE STAY. THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND MOST OF ALL WE ENJOY THE POOLS.NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL.

The hotel was ok ... The parking was a disaster, we would go around in circles trying to find a parking spot and this isn't even peak season. We had requested oceanfront and did not get it ... they blamed it on Hotels.com, even though we confirmed with hotels.com that we requested oceanfront at the time of booking. However, they had already assigned […] us into the tower that they normally don't put non-timeshare people in that had a sideview of the ocean, they would not give us an oceanfront unless we had something from hotels.com that said oceanfront. "Springbreak 2012"
This was our first time at this location and we all loved it. The area was beautiful, the hotel was very nice, the staff were are great. The bed my husband and I slept in had a broken spring. The staff responded right away. They brought up a brand new mattress for us. That's customer service!. The only thing that could have been better is that the carpets […] were a little dirty. Do not stay at this property unless u r one of their timeshare owners!! The property is great, the customer service is fabulous. However if u are a first time visitor, they will pressure you to buy into their timeshare program. We had one full day to spend at the beach ON St. Patrick's Day weekend, we made this known to the staff & they still waisted […] two hours of our day! We tried to be polite, telling them several times we had friends waiting for us & a tee time we couldnt miss. However, the salesperson just kept going on & on so we finally had to just get up & leave. If we were made aware upon booking our stay that we would be subjected to sitting through their sales pitch, we never would have chosen this hotel. We were looking forward to a short weekend away with friends & did not anticipate spending our one full day in an office with a pushy salesperson. "Exceeded Expectations!"
I was very pleased with the Wyndham Ocean Boulevard. I wasn't expecting too much, as most hotels in Myrtle Beach leave much to be desired and I tend to be picky with hotels, but I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival! First, the staff went above and beyond to be courteous and helpful. They probably do this because you can purchase time shares at this […] resort, but regardless, it was nice to experience their very high level of customer service! The rooms are recently renovated and very beautiful and comfortable. All amenities are taken care of from popcorn and hot chocolate to dishes, soaps, toiletries - they have it taken care of. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and it seemed that most if not all in our tower had ocean views. The only area for improvement would be parking, but I'm not sure that can be helped much given how many rooms there are in this resort. We found spots under our tower all but once, and the overflow lot was close enough to walk to conveniently. Overall, I very much enjoyed this resort. The hotel and my stay were great! The only issue was my door lock. I got up the first morning and I could tell someone had tried to open our door but we had the security latch on. I didn't complain because nothing was missing. The second night security knocked on the door to see if we were ok because our door was open. We had no idea. I overlooked this […] because the hotel was under construction. Our suite was very modern, spacious and clean. The staff was nice and accomodating. There is an awesome game room and plenty of pools.

Nice accomodations, located within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants.
Great hotel! But dont like the pressure of attending their "sales pitch" when checking in.

Our stay started off on a bad foot from the get-go! We arrived an hour after check-in time and were told our room wasn't ready. The staff said we would be called when it was available. They gave us no parking passes, just wrist bracelets. We had to go out on the beach with a 15 month old for ONE HOUR and never received a call. Finally I went back in […] to check on the status of the room and was told that everything for our room was ready a half hour previously. Nothing was done after I complained. When making this reservation I specifically asked for beds not to be made so I could inspect for bed bugs. When we got to the room, the beds were made. Also, the dresser drawers had not been cleaned because I found a bobby-pin and they were somewhat dirty. The kitchen counter was sticky. The floor had looked only like it had been vacuumed because there were several spots noticed. When we checked the pull-out couch on our bed bug inspection, there were crumbs in it. Luckily there were no signs of bed bugs. Three days after arriving, we were given 4 gift cards for restaurants ($100 total) and were asked to tour the building for a time share opportunity. We were informed that the gift cards will be charged to our room if we did not show up, so we declined and returned the gift cards the next day prior to the time of the appointment. We were assured our room would not be billed. Two days later we received a phone call asking why we did not show up for the tour and that the gift cards would be charged to us, so my husband had to get that settled. It felt like complete harrassment for not taking the time share tour. Midweek I had called housekeeping requesting bed linens and towels be changed out. I called twice and the call went to an answering machine, so I left a message on the second try. WE NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK!!! We had to repeatedly wash the towels provided, which is ok, but I don't want to spend my vacation washing towels and sheets! And lastly, even though I complete Lisätietoja

Beautiful rooms, wonderful view. We had a wonderful weekend. Would skip the time-share presentation and spend that time walking on the beach.

"The Management"
My husband and I stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago (our first visit and last). We were kept up at night in our room by banging/bumping etc until 3:00 in the morning. I had to call the night manager 2 nights in a row, because of not be able to sleep! They did not resolve the issue, and did not tell us the real reason for the noise. When I called, […] they made me feel stupid! The reason for the noise was as we found out as we were checking out of the hotel, was because someone flooded the room under our room. The management of this hotel did nothing to compensate us for this horrible stay at their hotel and paid a lot of money for an unsuitable room. Super 8 Hotel would be a lot better! "Horrible Experience"
To say that our stay at your resort was the worst ever would be an understatement. Our reservation was all messed up. It was not until 1030pm when our other room was made ready. All this after I had called 2 hours before check-in and was assured that my booking was an all-go. I spent 2 hours arguing my reservation details w/ the night supervisor, who […] said she didn't know about the mishap. She did not even know how to reach her staff member that supposedly was aware of this certain transaction. If she didn't know, who would?!!! What kind of resort would not have records on the computer and would rely on word of mouth?! On the second day, they sent security for an incident they couldn't prove, with a 9 year old; they even threatened to escort us out!!! By the way, on that day we were celebrating this kid's birthday. This is the most horrible experience we've ever had. It also ruined our entire vacation that we had planned months ahead to spend quality time with the family. The staff have no idea what service means. They'd rather point fingers than handle present situations. There is nothing I would change. This hotel was perfect for our trip.
