The hotel was very nice clean and nice roms,The meals were disappointing,dont cater good for childrens food.overall a very nice hotel freindly staff.

Quite a pleasant hotel, very convenient for SECC and science centre. Rooms for 3 people were quite small but clean and tidy. Food in restaurant was satisfactory but at breakfast there was insufficient staff to cater for the number of people there, which meant delays waiting for buffet area to be replenished and for plates/cups etc. The quality of the […] buffet breakfast was quite poor. Never again!!!! Stayed two years ago and the smell in the room kept us awake all night. On this occasion there was nowhere else available near the SECC so we had to book again and boy did it bring back memories. On this occasion I used the bathroom as soon as we arrived and I thought a plane was coming through the wall when I flushed. There is no way […] of describing the noise, trust me, I do not excagerate! We were then moved rooms, and while this one appeared better, appearances can be deceiving. Excellent location if you are attending the SECC for an event. Nice hotel, very clean and functional but could have done without the half an hour wait to get a table for breakfast on the Sunday morning.

We were attending a concert at SECC so the hotel was chosen for convenience. On arriving at the hotel we checked in without any hassle and the receptionist explained everything very clearly. Our room was on the first floor and at the front, there was some noise late at night with people coming and going but this did not disturb our sleep. The room was […] clean and beds very comfortable. This was the second occasion that I have stayed at this hotel and I have found that the service is very good and that the staff are very pleasant & very helpful. Apart from the receptionist in the morning of my departure who could have been more informative and issued me with an exit code for the car park barrier (that has recently been reinstated) […] prior to me leaving the hotel. We attended a concert at the SECC and this hotel was absolutely perfect. Our room was immediately available despite our early morning arrival from the US. This allowed us to get a few hours of sleep before we began our busy day. The room was very clean, comfortable and noise-free even though we were on the first floor. We stayed here for one night arriving on the day of the worst gales for years. We got into our room well before check-in time and left our car in the hotel car park. Rooms basic, not much room but everything you'd expect was there and it was clean. Booked mere days before we were due to stay and found it still very reasonably priced. Overall, very good value for money and good service. Staff were helpful and also quite warm towards their guests. Rooms were comfortable and well equipped given what we paid for it. Fantastic location if you are visitng the SECC . The hotel was very friendly, welcoming and the size and comfort of the room was way beyond my expectations for the price I paid . The breakfast was outstanding. Overall a great stay and would definitley recommend.

This hotel was actually only chosen for its location, nothing more, I also was expecting Travel lodge type accomodation, but I was pleasently suprised. Room is a litte compact, but Bed and pillows fantastic, very clean, shower grout just needs a little attention, but for the money good overall stay.

great value for money. Free parking and the pre show meal fantastic. A must to stay if you are going to secc 2 minutes walk to station trains every 10 mins and 8 min journey time to the shops.

Not too impressed by this hotel. Room was small and on the ground floor right next to a main road. Could hear traffic too clearly. Bed had cheap mattress and was not particularly comfortable. Faulty plug socket by table which I decided best not to use so had to unplug kettle to charge phone. The campanile is so convenient for us- we have stayed there four times now and will stay there again in the future. It is so convenient for the university where my son is studying and also the train station. There is also a fabulous Indian restaurant in walking distance called india quay and a chinese just opposite. We have booked tickets to see JLS […] at the SECC next year so we will definantly be staying here again then as it's virtually next door!!!! The hotel was no where near the airport and was extremely difficult to find. The rooms were nice and the restaurant adequate. They ran out of food on the breakfast buffet by 8 am but did not want to adjust the price. The price was not included in the room. They forgot my wakeup call and I almost missed my flight. This hotel was nice, clean and breakfast was good. Location next to SECC okay, short trip to Glasgow central with the train. Negative about location is that next to it they build a new stadium so there could be noise from there. It is cheap and good value for price!

The hotel rooms are very nice and very clean. The only thing which is considerable is that breakfast should be included in their room rate because according to hotels like this and the room rate which they offer breakfast is usually part of it but they charged separate for breakfast. We stayed at the Campanile near the SECC because we were going to a concert at the SECC. This hotel, near the river Clyde, has a beautiful river walkway which can either lead you to the city center or to a science center which has an iMax theatre; next to this is the BBC Scotland building. All in all this was a great location to be!

Average but clean city hotel. Was good for overnight stay on our way to another destination.

Well signposted from the motorway, just follow the signs to the SECC. There is quite a lot of building work in the surrounding area but it is not a problem. Across the water from STV/BBC on the banks of the Clyde. Not ideal if you want to go into Glasgow shopping. Easy access to the West Coast.

The Hotel is very convenient for attending the SECC, which is its greatest attraction. We had a double room with a double bed and extra fold away double bed. We used the extra bed for relaxing between shows but it was very uncomfortable and the cover was old, dirty and shabby. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable and adequate for our purpose. […] Staff were friendly at reception. We didn't use the bar or resteraunt. Last minute booking for the SECC. 5 minute walk away. Excellent position, wonderful view of Clyde and enormous crane from bedroom window., husband is Engineer!! My wife & I found this hotel very convenient for our overnight stay. The staff were friendly & helpful & its location made it very easy for us to drive into town & to the airport. It was clean, the resturant & bar were exceptional & our room was very comfortable. We would recommend this hotel to any future guests.

This is a good hotel to stay in if you're going to a gig at the SECC. Just a 3 minute walk. Breakfast wasnt as good this time but the hotel was busy.

Great Hotel, so close to SECC. We walked passed people standing in queues for taxis and we were able to walk a short distance to the hotel. Would definitely use again. Can't complain about anything.

Basic hotel yet very suitable for the S.E.C.C. which is within walking distance.

hotel was lovely stayed for one night after a concert. Only problem was the bed was so soft it was like a marshmallow. this was not to my taste but i'm sure others qould love it.

Location perfect for a visit to the Clyde Auditorium. Room basic, clean but showing a bit of wear and tear. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast restaurant cold. Breakfast items plentiful and well presented but not hot enough.

On Glasgow's revitalised water front. Easy walking to many restaurtants and shops. Not perhaps for lone walker late at night but plenty of taxis. Hotel is clean if basic. Very quiet when I was there - mid week in October. Lots of free parking.

My wife and I were going to a gig at the Cathouse and needed somewhere to stay, just for one night. The hotel was very easy to find thanks to the map on the web page. It has plenty of parking which is a bonus. Our welcome was curtious and quick. The room was very clean and nicely laid out. It is a stones throw from the SECC and about 10-15 min walk to the train station, shops and Cathouse. We were put off breakfast by the slow moving que so cannot comment on the food. This modern hotel is close to the S.E.C. and a few minutes drive from the centre of Glasgow. It is a budget hotel, but had everything that I required, these being free car parking, lifts(2), restaurant & bar. the bedrooms are basic but again had everything that is required for a short stay, 1 x night in my case i.e. very clean, double bed, bathroom(Shower […] only) with toileteries, TV, tea/coffee making facilities, maybe a bit tight in size if 2 people sharing! Campanile is right on the old waterfront a few hundred yards from SECC. The room was about two thirds the size of standard Hilton rooms. It had a kettle and TV with very basic channels. Bathroom has a shower and a small selection of complimenatary soap/shower gels. Parking was included in the price which is a bonus on weekends as te waterfront can […] get crowded. It was the River Festival when I was there and the hotel was right in the middle. so when you got tired ou could just pop bavck for a rest. The staff were helpful and to make up for a small mix up in booking threw in breakfast. The selection in the morning was plentiful, hot/cold breakfast. Cereal and Continental meat/cheeses. Not my first stay here and the level of service continues at a high level. For what is essentially a budget hotel it can be relied on to provide clean rooms, friendly staff and value for money. Excellent location near the city centre and SECC.

we had booked two rooms for six people in total. There was no problem checking in and all the reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.The rooms were spotless and in very good condition. The hotel is perhaps slightly to far to walk but a short taxi ride into town. An excellent choice if attending the SECC.

Very clean room with lovelly white linens and towels. Quite basic I suppose, but everything you need for a city break. SECC and Clyde Auditorium are right next door, so easy access to events.
