I arrived at night and the hotel looked apeeling from the outside but as soon as i stepped foot in my room the floors looked like the grout had never been cleaned and the bathroom fixtures were outdated and rusty. I like that every room has a balcony overlooking the ocean. Great room, plenty of space for two people but could sleep 6 easily. Very clean. Nice that it has a stove w/ oven, microwave and refridgerator with freezer and all the dishes and cups. I would definately stay here again. The price is very reasonable and the amenities are great. "Worth the money"
We saw 1 roach the 6 days we stayed there, The a/c did not work in the bedroom area. Cleaning staff was very good and friendly. Staff at the desk was not friendly at all. It's right on the beach with a balcony that has amazing views. the mall is a walk away(15 minute walk). Our room had a kitchen and living room that was very nice. We thought the spring break kids would be a problem ,they were all well behaved. Only recommendation would be to fight for a side walk down to Mall area for dining. Beach was great, staff was friendly

This was a very nice hotel, and was the best priced of the others we looked at. It isn't a new, fancy hotel, and the continental breakfast left something to be desired, but for the cost it was very nice. Right on the beach. Decent pool and hot tub. It is about a mile west of Pier Park, so other than there, you aren't likely to be walking distance from […] everything. The room had a full kitchen, and 2 TV's. We really enjoyed our stay at the Beachcomber. Enjoyed the pool and convenience to the beach.
Furniture was uncomfortable, paint was pealing on deck door, ocean side window was permanently dirty on the inside and couldn't be cleaned. hotel was under going remodeling and was noisy! checked out early!
We loved it! The bed was super comfy and the staff made you feel like family! Would definitely go there again. Also very clean!

Despite reading the negative reviews I thought this hotel was great. The front desk staff was courtious and was able to check me in earlier than expected. The room was comfortable and convenient and being right on the beach was an added plus. I had never been to PCB before and going in the off season (winter months) I found several eating establishments […] closed for the season. No worries tho since there were plenty of other places to go. The hotel is close proximity to Pier Park and a short driving/taxi distance to other attractions. As described the breakfast at the hotel is continental (bagels,juice,muffins, coffee and oatmeal) Its nice that it is offered whether you eat it or not, since so many more higherend hotels don't even offer breakfast. The pool was heated and the view nice. Because it was the off season the beach wasn't crowded, I can only imagine however what it's like during spring break. When we checked the desk staff was curtious and helpful. Quickly got our room on the second floor, but when we got to the room and looked out from the balcony we couldn't see the beach due to the nice palm trees. Went back to the check in desk and asked if there was another room available. The clerk happily changed our room to one on the 5th floor. […] Great view of the beach and pool area. Room was comfortable though showing some signs of age. Kitchen utinsels were bare essentials, but adequate. Hotel is near many of the areas attractions, many less than 10 minutes drive. The rooms are large and all except the lower three floors on the right and left side have good views because of the palm trees that grow there. This is our second stay. The second stay was in room 516 that was a nice room except the air conditioner gave a unpleasent odor, but the room was clean. We remedied the odor problem with some sebrease from a […] local store. My main concern is we requested a "Non-smoking room" and when we arrived, it was a smoking room. They had the door facing the ocean open to try to air it out and tried to use air freshener, but it smelled awful! It also irritated my husband's allergies which made the trip very unpleasant. Went for Thunder Beach had a great time. Hotel was nice front desk friendly and helpful.
The hotel staff were nice -- we went during Thunder Beach (Bike Week) and it was VERY LOUD, even on the 4th floor. Had hard time sleeping, but that wasn't the hotel's fault...The only complaints that we really had was that the beds were old and were VERY HARD AND UNCOMFORTABLE, and there was no free WiFi. Most every hotel offers free wifi, but not this […] one. We woke up each morning with a very terrible stiff back and backache. Other than that, everything was ok. Had an incredible Jacuzzi out by their pool. Really helped with the backaches. Continental breakfast was very limited.. Muffins, bagels, coffee and juices...no cereals, etc. Great location, however. My husband and I went down for a weekend get away. Hotel staff was really friendly, rooms were nice but a bit run down. The bed could have used a new matress. But over all very nice trip.

I would recommend this hotel and look forward to our next visit. The hotel is conveniently located to everything in Panama City Beach. The "continental breakfast" consisted of prepackaged muffins and bagels along with yogurt. Cereal would have been nice, and the seating area is very small. "One nighter"
We only stayed one night but we enjoyed the balcony overlooking the beach. It was like a mini vacation while being on the road. A short drive or if you are a walker it is within walking distance of the Panama City Pier & Mall.

When we checked in the hotel the check in person was an older blond lady, she was very sarcastic and rude, not a professional. When we got to the room the bath was not fully clean and dirty towels were hanging from the shower. There was a roach problem. The bed was broken, hard and lop-sided. A fire alarm went off all over the whole complex for about […] 30 min. A hotel handy man came to our room by mistake and then insisted on using our phone and was swinging around a dirty plunger while on the phone and touching our beds with it. It was horrible there!!!! The hotel was not too bad if you get it at a low price, but for what we paid it wasn't worth it. The location was fine but we found roaches in our bathroom, lack of internet service small rooms and over crowded pools.

This hotel is o.k if you want to be far from any of the good restaurants. There is NO bar or snack bar. Only 1 bathroom to use while at the beach and pool and it was clogged up a few times. Too many people for just 1 bathroom. Other hotels have a bar snack bars and bars where you can get daiquiri. The room was old but adequate with a full refrigerator […] and good size oven. All other reviews are correct in that the elevator is slow. Again too many people for just 2 small, slow elevators. Not really enough parking at the hotel; you have to park across a very busy street sometimes. Also, we would have paid LESS if we called the hotel ourselves rather than using a service such as this. I was very excited about staying at this hotel. I booked it over the internet. When we arrived, we were very disappointed. The room was very dirty. The couch in the room has stains all over it, I wouldn't let my child sit on it without a towel. The holder for the information on the room had some kind of brown thing in it, I never did identify. The hotel […] is on the opposite end of the beach from everything that you would want to do. The key cards tell you that if you order a delivery from the Barefoot Restaurant that you will get 10% off your meal. I called and they told me they no longer deliver to the Beachcomer and hung up.
