Impiana Resort Chaweng Noi - Ko Samui

This is a hotel I can warmly recommend. We stayed there for 5 days and enjoyed each day. Service is top. The hotel is on the beach but the rooms are very dirty and moldy. The hotel staff was very rude and when I complained they did not care. Over the stay of four nights I heard other guest complain to the staff. Don't be fooled by the nice pictures.

We had a good stay everything was ok , the staff were very nice and helpfull.

I stayed at the Impiana resort together with my wife for 4 night in January 2012. The resort is in excellent condition. The room was lovely, and so was the private beach. Pool was rather small though and you need to take a taxi to get to the heart of Chaweng beach, but those will only cost you 100-150 Baht and are very easy to get. Good service. Good food.

We were there after spending a couple of weeks in Bangkok. Getting far away from the craziness of Bangkok, this is a pleasant enough place. Just a about 5 minutes from the main shopping area in Chaweng and there's a shuttle three times daily that will save you having to haggle the taxis. We tried to keep it at 250 baht max but did much better with the […] trucks for about 150 baht. To go to Fishermen's village is a bit more - they start their pricing at 350 - 400 bht but definitely a quieter place and not as crazy compared to the Chaweng scene. Chaweng reminded us of Waikiki with all of the bars, clubs and constant tourist buzz. Shopping's not bad but everyone pretty much carries the same stuff. We stayed in room 310, second floor corner room facing the pool. It's a Deluxe rm with a nice view of the beach but beware, the bathroom must have a drainage problem because it smells pretty bad. Management gave us a candle which helped a bit but we had to keep the door closed at all times. The room is clean overall but a moldy bathtub / shower enclosure was a turn off. You have to step up and into the tub to shower and there's about 14 inches of tile surrounding the tub that makes it a bit dangerous when wet since the water that collects around the top of the tub doesn't drain anywhere. If you're staying at Impiana you have to request a room away from the road as it's pretty noisy otherwise. It was our first time on Koh Samui and what we read about the bar staff was hilariously accurate: they could not be bothered. Sometimes they pointed at the 11pm clock intimating that it was closing and only wanted to make one kind of rum drink. We figured it was closing for the night but the barman continued to hang out and once we went back for a second round the drinks were totally different and had almost no alcohol. The athmosphere is stunning. Fun to watch the employees play on the beach every late afternoon. Convenient location with tranquillity Value for money!

Great hotel/resort. Great price. The staff were very very friendly and accommodating. Only negative thing to say was that the music they play near the beach is a bit annoying (a quiet beach experience would have been nice). Otherwise, perfect. I highly recommend it.

Nice hotel with an outside pool, beach bar, restaurant and bar/lounge serving good food. Good selection in the breakfast buffet, nicely decorated rooms albeit not overly spacious. Lovely beach - be prepared for the countless number of people trying to sell necklaces/bracelets/clothing etc. although once you've said 'no thank you' they don't hassle […] you. Few surrounding restaurants on main stretch of beach were very nice although not the cheapest. Shuttle service into Chaweng was useful. Only real downside for me was the fact many of the members of staff, although polite, had forgotten how to smile and be pleasant! Mainly the breakfast staff! Et godt hotel, beliggende uden for chawengs forlystelser. Hotellet tilbyder gratis bus til byen 4 gange om dagen og ellers kan taxa fåes for 2-300 bath. Hotellet ligger direkte på stranden og forplejningen var perfekt de 11 dage vi boede på hotellet. Ved ankomst blev vi anvist et værelse hvor der var støj fra vejen, men da vi påpegede det, blev vi straks […] flyttet til roligt værelse med udkik over poolen og havet - Perfekt. Venlig og imødekommende personale. Eneste ulempe er at der ikke er det store at se uden for hotellet, ligesom der ikke er stort udvalg af restauranter med mindre man tager i byen - hvor det til gengæld er enormt. Vi kan varmt anbefale hotellet hvis man har behov for afslapning med fokus på hygge, god mad og wellness. Lisätietoja
