Siisti perushotelli. Aamiainen oli ok muutaman päivän reissulle, mutta pidemmän päälle siihen kyllästyisi sen vaihtumattomuuden takia. Lähellä hotellia on kauppa ja pubi.

Metroasema oli aivan hotellin kulman takana, joten siirtyminen paikasta toiseen sujui mainiosti. Hotellin lähistö tuntui rauhalliselta alueelta, vaikkakin tutustuminen siihen jäi vähille. Myös hotellin vieressä olevasta pikkukaupasta sai kätevästi mm. hedelmiä, kolmioleipiä, virvoitusjuomia ja muuta syötävää. Kauppa tuntui olevan auki myös myöhäisinä […] kellonaikoina, sekä sunnuntaina. Hotellihuone oli siisti ja toimiva, myös tilaa oli tarpeeksi. Kadun äänet eivät kuulu sisälle, vaikka yöpyisi ensimmäisessä kerroksessa. Hotelliaaminen oli suomalaiseen makuun hieman yksipuolinen. Tarjolla oli mm. croisantteja, makkaraa ja pain du chocolat-tyyppisiä leivonnaisia, eli hyvin maikeita ja rasvaisia ruokia. Esimerkiksi paahtoleivän päälle oli tarjolla ainoastaan marmelaadia, eikä esimerkiksi juustoa tai leikkelettä. Munakasta, jogurttia ja hedelmiä kuitenkin löytyi, myös kahvi oli hyvää. Voin suositella hotellia; tasokkaat ja siistit huoneet, todella hyvä sijainti metroaseman vieressä sekä muutenkin hyvä hinta-laatusuhde. Rattaiden tai vaunujen kanssa liikkuville huomioksi, että vain harvoilla metroasemilla on hissejä tai liukuportaita. Kannattaa siis varautua siihen, että vaunuja joutuu kantamaan paljon rappusia pitkin. Onneksi paikalliset ovat ystävällisiä ja tarjoutuvat usein auttamaan kantopuuhissa! Lisätietoja

Loman tarkotuksena oli nähdä ja kokea mahdollisimman paljon Lontoossa. Hotellin sijainti oli erinomainen meidän tarpeisiin koska tarkoitus ei ollut koskaan lähteä joka ilta juhlimaan. Metroasema oli minuuttien päässä ja Central linjalla pääsi mihin vain koska siitä jakautui muihin asemiin linjoja joten nähtävyydet ja ostokset olivat helposti löydettävissä. […] En koskaan tainnut katsoa kuinka kauan metromatkat kestivät koska meille sillä ei ollut väliä. Hotelli oli todella siisti ja hiljainen vaikka vastapäätä oli käynnissä rakennustyömaan viimeistelyt. Aamupala oli tarpeeksi runsas sellaisille ihmisille kuin minä ketkä eivät halua syödä joka aamu samaa ja vatsan sai aina täyteen! Illalla jos tuli pieni nälkä tai sokerihammas alkoi kolottamaan kävelit muutaman kymmenen metriä ja ylitit tien ruokakauppaan, missä oli myös pankkiautomaatti seinässä. Kaikissa liikkeissä ja automaateissa ei ollut debit puolta mutta tässä Tescon automaatissa oli mikä oli todella hyvä koska emme halunneet vaihtaa kaikkia rahoja etukäteen ja näin vältimme suurien summien kantamista mukanamme. Jos olen menossa uudestaan lomalle Lontooseen niin todennäköisesti päädyn uudestaan samaan hotelliin. Sellaisille ihmisille en suosittele jos täytyy olla minuuttien päässä keskustasta ja suurkaupungin humusta ja nille kenen täytyy pian päästä paikasta toiseen. Lisätietoja

Lapsiperheelle hyvä hotelli. Siistiin huoneeseen mahtui hyvin lisävuode kahdelle. Sijainti aivan metroaseman vieressä takasi hyvät yhteydet keskustaan. Rauhallinen sijainti. Vieressä ruokakauppa ja pubi. Hinta-laatusuhde hyvä.

Uudehko, erittäin siisti hotelli n. 20 minuutin metromatkan päässä Lontoon keskustasta. North Actonin metroasema sijaitsee aivan hotellin vieressä, Heathrowlta matka kestää n. 50 minuuttia (metroa pitää vaihtaa kaksi kertaa). Hotellin läheisyydessä on muutama ravintola sekä pieni supermarket, alue vaikutti erittäin rauhalliselta ja turvalliselta. Hotellihuone […] oli odotettua suurempi ja todella siisti. Aamiainen sisältyi hintaan ja matkalaukut sai jättää hotelliin säilöön uloskirjautumisen jälkeen. Hotellissa oli ilmainen langaton internet-yhteys, mikä toimi hyvin. Vietin hotellissa kaksi yötä tyttäreni kanssa syyskuussa 2010. Hotelli vastasi odotuksiani, hinta-laatutaso oli kohdallaan ja palvelu ystävällistä. Hotelli oli siisti ja huone meille riittävän kokoinen. Kadun vastakkaiselle puolelle rakennetaan. Mannermainen aamiainen oli OK. North Actonin metroasema on punaisen metrolinjan varrella. Matka Oxford Streetille […] (Marble Arch) taittuu arviolta 15 minuutissa. Lentokentälle pääsee vaihtamalla Ealing Broadwaylla vihreään ja Acton Townissa siniseen linjaan. Oyster Card ei ole voimassa Ealing Broadwayn asemaa ja Heathrow'n lentokenttää yhdistävässä junassa. Suosittelen hotellia lämpimästi muillekin Lontoon-kävijöille. Lisätietoja

The hotel was situationed just opposite of North Acton underground station, so getting around London was very easy - Just 20 mins travelling and you're right in the heart of the city. Hotelli oli siisti ja hyväkuntoinen. Aamiainen oli heikkotasoinen verrattuna eurooppalaiseen keskitasoon. Kadun toisellapuolella käynnissä ollut purkutyömaa aiheutti jonkin verran melua mutta ei kuitenkaan haitannut yöunia. Huonesiivooja oli vienyt parina päivänä pois tavaroita huoneesta joita olisimme tarvinneet myöhemmin, esim. kenkälaatikko. Metropysäkki […] oli hotellin vieressä joten liikkuminen oli helppoa. Tosin viikon verran kun matkusti hotellilta keskustaan niin ajatteli, että voisi se hotelli olla pari pysäkkiä lähempänä. Stayed three days and it was great apart from the last night and that was not the hotel's fault. People came back to the next room at 3 in the morning knocking on the door making lots of noise. There was a connecting door between the two rooms they tried to come through that. Then they started smoking which came through underneath the door which stank......tobacco?? […] Hmmm. Called reception which took two calls to get them to go next door and tell them to stop smoking...(.they are no smoking rooms) Lesson learned, next time I will take masking tape to seal connecting doors in hotel. The hotel can be seen immediately upon exiting the tube which was a huge bonus. Breakfast was also included even though we hadn't requested it. The hotel is approximately 15-20 minutes from the city by tube. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to others!

Having stayed there from the 19th-21st April the whole place was lovely and clean and the room spotless which was nice. Only problem was I got back quiet one night and had to wait approx 7 mins to be let in and it was a cold nite. Spoke to the gentleman by reception who pretty much said I was lying, poor customer service being in the same industry myself. […] Following day spoke to a trainee lady that was very helpful and said she was going to put the complaint through to the manager. The station was right next to the tube, and also had a bus stop at the front door. There were a couple of convenience stores just steps away, and a pub/restaurant across the street, as well as a coffee house. Although the area seemed clean, it was a few stops further west on the Central Line than I would prefer to stay next visit. The area was pretty […] quiet at night, which meant we slept great. However, it was a little "deserted" which would have made me uncomfortable walking at night alone. There was usually a homeless person sleeping on the walkway up from the tube. The room with a double bed and sleeper sofa was a little crowded with the sofa converted into a bed. Would have preferred two real beds with a little more wiggle room. Good location, just next to underground station. On the other hand, limited car park spaces. I had to park on the road over the first night, and to remove the car early in the morning to avoid a parking ticket. I arrived late on the first day and the receptionist was really unhelpful. He told me to me to park in front of closed local shops but when […] I asked him is that alright, he said I do not know. Also, he did not give me any information about car park places near to the hotel. I booked a room of double bed and sofa bed, but given a room with two single beds. Hotel ir nice, in good place, really near to metro station. Room is comfortable. There was only one not very pleasant moment- one night very loud alarm signal started, maybe there was some smoke or fire, maybe someone tried to smoke in wrong place:) Brekfast was ok.

I cannot fault the staff at all, they were very courteous, helpful, friendly and above all, we lost a bag containing a video camera left in the foyer late at night, and the excellent guy behind the bar found it and kept it aside for us. The hotel was right off the Tube (Subway) stop. It made it very convienent. The only thing I thought would be an issue was the earliest we could arrive at LHR was 6:00am. That was under 2 hours from our departure. It did not end up being a problem. It takes about 0:45 to get from LHR to the Tube stop (North Acton on the Central Line). It also took about […] 0:30 - 0:45 to get to the heart of the city as well. If you plan on going back and forth to the city, make sure to purchase an Oyster Card from the Tube station. The bed was small by USA standards. It was booked as a double bed but it was about the size of an American Super Single bed. The room also had a couch but we never really stayed in the room to see how to the couch felt. The bed was firm but supportive. It can be a bit challenging to figure out where the light switches are and which one operates which set of lights. Again, an American limitation. Europeans probably don't have a problem with that. There was a free breakfast. It was cereals, scrambled eggs, sausage links, and a few pastrys. They also had free wifi. You had to get a free code from the front desk. Across the street, there was a pub that had a small food menu. Typical pub/bar foods; Burgers, Nachos, etc. Not much in the way of food beyond the pub so if you want something fancy, eat when you are out and about. The staff was very pleasant and most helpful to me and my family, when traveling in a foreign country. We very much appreciated their assistance in directing us to get to the sights we wanted to see, via public transportation.

Excellent value for a London hotel. Located within 2 minutes walking distance to tube station North Acton. Central London is about 20-25 minutes away by tube. Breakfast included. Wireless is free in room but you need a voucher to use it, and the voucher expires every 24 hours. I would definitely stay there again.

Very clean, quiet room, comfortable bed. Great shower. The only downside was the hairdryer - the cord was fixed, and no more than about 40cm long, which meant you had to be a contortionist to dry the back of your head. Plus, there was no plug socket near the mirror, so even if you had your own hairdryer you had to operate it from the other side of the […] room without a mirror! Location was right at the tube stop and across from a grocery store and pub. Easy to take the tube right to the city center. Nice place and great breakfast. Basically matches a good hotel of this same name in the U.S.

we found this to be a comfortable Hotel, with the staff pleasing to the guests,it had a good location for the train into London but the station it self was a let down (with NO lift or ramp) for people coming in by the train with heavy suitcases, and we had two(2) but thats not the Hotel's fault ( good one British Rail) visiting after 15yrs still old […] fashioned/outdated and run down, it brought back thoughts of the British Rail sausages which were the worst in the country and the butt of many jokes, we laughed at the thought of the Olympic games coming to London and of the many people from all over the world about to be confronted with this rubbish Lisätietoja

Recommended, if you don't mind not staying in central London. Very good position for access to tube station, only a few minutes walk away. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Very quiet at night with a handy Tesco and a pub across the road. Breakfast fine. Would definitely consider using again .

Room was clean and the staff was unbelievably helpful. Breakfast every morning was fresh and provided a wide array off options. The location was a bit outside of central london, but just a short 2 minute walk to the local station. Overall would highly recommend.
