Locanda di Palazzo Cicala - Genova

The place is quite difficult to find, no big hotel sign at all. We looked the hotel about 0,5h even we were only 50m from there. Difficult to find parking place close to hotel. Breakfast was quite poor. Rating 4stars is not correct, maybe 2 stars is closer. Positive is ancient environment and hotel stairs with pillars.

For our first one night`s stay we got a very clean and modern apartment close to the hotel and enjoyed our stay in the historic center of Genoa very much. So we decided to come back again and got another very nice apartment in the same building. The second time, though, the housekeeper had probably been busier, and the floors had been wiped hastily, […] but again everything else was neat and clean. The breakfast had more variety and was better (good cappucinos!), when enjoyed at the hotel in comparison to the simpler breakfast they offered to bring in the room incl. the same room price. The hotel doesn`t have a parking lot and has to be reached by foot (ca. 400m - we recommend trolleybags), but our empty rentcar stayed safely on a nearby common and camera guarded parking lot during both stays. Room had "cellar type feeling" with low curved ceiling) Windows opened to small dark square, lot of noise during night. Breakfast was very simple/basic. Nice italian/design furniture in the rooms.

Find the huge iron door in San Lorenzo Piazza then the hotel name plaque and bell push. Ask for help if non enter the lobby leave your luggage and walk up the marble stairs. Receptionists are helpful and will assist with the lift of required. Centrally situated with comfortable rooms. A simple breakfast and no signal for Tv or computer. We were disappointed with the hotel all round. Our room was sparsely furnished, small and austere. The en suite bathroom was tiny and the basic shower was absurdly small. There was a lot of close noise from revellers, scooters and council operatives all night forcing us to close the windows. The breakfast was poor and the small lounge drab. The apartment was very nice and even bigger than we expected. They even had a small 2nd bathroom which really came in handy. The room overlooked the Piazza San Lorenzo, so we had a beautiful view, but it's also a hangout for loud locals who obviously don't have to get up early for work in the morning. Was hard to locate. Was expecting a fancy hotel but it was a family run type hotel. The rooms are very spacious and it is a very quaint business, but I was not in the mood for quaint and wanted more luxurious. we had an apartment which wasvery spacious, however therewas mould in part of the living area and there is no lift to the room. So the apartment is not a good idea if you have small child or struggle with stairs. There was no airconditioning but the staff were happy to supply fans. Not convenient if you have a car, car had to be left 10 mins away in public car park, quite expensive. Room we had was actually an apartment separate from the hotel. Was good size but with the inconvenience of being 3-4 mins away. Well located. Would likely look for an alternative place to stay if I went back to Genoa.

This hotel is old, tired and IMHO manages by very covetous and mingy troll. Despite of exclusive location there was difficult to find it - no access by car with heavy luggage - hotel is in the pedestrian area, no parking, no any sign... The electricity was shutting down every half an hour. When we arrived our triple room was given to previous guest […] just before our eyes, they offered another room in another building. It was clear but without air conditioneer (in June!) and with cot instead of third bad. This offer was rejected - all the more so many hotels around were free. Rooms are very beautiful, and decorated in what I think of as typical Italian style, rooms are large and very comfortable. The room had a computer and had free internet. Didn't take advantage of the breakfast but it looked very good. Comodo in quanto centralissimo. L'appartamento era collocato in un palazzo d'epoca con sede diversa da quella della reception quindi non si poteva fruire di servizi bar o di una hall. La colazione veniva recapitata in camera all'ora prescelta. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo

We hadden een appartement geboekt dat niet in het hotel zelf lag, maar in een bijgebouw bleek te zijn. Jammer, maar ook een aardige plek. De slaapbank (i.p.v. twee eenpersoons bedden die we gevraagd hadden voor de kinderen) was slecht en zakte 's nachts in elkaar. Werd prima opgelost door ons een betere kamer aan te bieden voor de 2e nacht. De 4 sterren […] vind ik wat overdreven voor dit hotel, maar verder een uitstekende plek om Genua te verkennen. Vänlig och bra personal och mycket bra läge. Frukost buffen var ok men frukosten som levererades till familjerummen (som inte ligger i själva hotellet) saknade det mesta. Helt oacceptabelt att hotellet inte hade air condition i rummen trots att de bekräftade detta vid bokningen. Wij kregen een appartementje (heel modern, mooi en proper) op wandelafstand van het hotel. Het ontbijt (dat wel lekker is) wordt je gebracht of je mag komen eten in het hotel. Daar is echter geen echte ontbijtzaal en te weinig plaats. Laat je ontbijt dus maar leveren, dan heb je meer en met meer comfort. Nadeel : er is geen parking aan het hotel en […] je mag eigenlijk zelfs niet met je auto tot daar rijden. Mits het noteren van je gegevens, kunnen ze hiervoor wel even een uitzondering maken. Non hanno parcheggio (dista 10 minuti a piedi), e sono in zona pedonale. Gli appartamenti non sono nell'hotel, ma lontani dallo stesso, senza ascensore! Sconsigliato a chi ha figli. Servizio di reception squallido La pulizia lascia a desiderare: abbiamo trovato le lenzuola sporche!

Famiglia di 4 persone con bambini piccoli L'appartamento che ci è stato assegnato era molto spazioso e confortevole anche se collocato in un edificio separato dal resto della struttura. Praticamente è un appartamento all'interno di un condominio distante un centinaio di metri dalla struttura principale. La cucina era praticamente nuova e dotata di tutti […] i confort, lavastoviglie compresa. C'era un pc con l'accesso ad internet a nostra disposizione. L'unico difetto era la collocazione dei due letti per i bambini, ovvero nel soppalco sopra il salone al quale si accedeva tramite una scala che non era dotata di corrimano. Non proprio il massimo per chi ha dei bambini piccoli. Un punto in meno al confort della camera per questo motivo, perchè altrimenti sarebbe stata perfetta. Ci hanno segnalato la possibilita di avere la colazione direttamente in camera, ma consiglio di andare direttamente in sala colazione perchè altrimenti rimarrete con la fame. Lisätietoja

Siamo stati alloggiati in un appartamentino in via Banchi. Carino. Peccato per una pianta piena di foglie secche che necessiterebbe di un po' di manutenzione. La colazione non male anche se è molto scomodo mangiare su tavolinetti bassi da solotto. Ho preferito il soggiorno dell'anno scorso in camera in hotel.

Cet hôtel est très bien situé dans la zone piétonne de Gènes. Il n'y a pas de parking prévu alors il faut laisser la voiture dans un parking municipal (nombreux parkings proches mais pas donnés). Le petit déjeuner est très copieux, les chambres pleines de charme, très grandes et confortables, l'accueil parfait. Je recommande !

nous ne recommandons vraiment, mais vraiment pas cet hôtel. c'était un appartement hors de l'enceinte de l'hôtel, dans une rue glauque sans aucun moyen de communication avec l'Hôtel, PDJ emmené dans un sac et pendu à la porte, une chaleur torride sans climatisation nous obligeant à dormir les fenêtres ouvertes avec le bruit des voisins et des rues, […] et sans supplément de prix les moustiques. Nous étions dans une annexe ! moderne et sans aucun cachet. Confortable mais ne possédant en aucun cas le charme d'une résidence d'époque. Aucun lien avec les photos ; ne correspond pas et de loin à un 4 * : Petits déjeuners servis à la va vite, prestations plus que sommaires (pas de beurre), manque de personnel le matin, pas d'accès à internet ni depuis […] la chambre, ni depuis la réception ; Bref grosse déception. Sehr zentral direkt gegenüber von der Kathedrale. Zimmer war riesig und hell. Frisch gestrichen. PC mit Internetzugang auf dem Zimmer. ABER Hotel wird gerade renoviert. Eine einzige Baustelle. Daher auch kein Frühstück. Wenn das Hotel fertig renoviert ist, kann ich es auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

la locanda ha una buona collocazione, in pieno centro, ma il prezzo è assolutamente sproporzionato ai servizi resi. 4 stelle per un hotel del genere mi sembrano troppe!!! si sono dimenticati di pulire la stanza vi rendete conto, un hotel a 4 stelle!!!! Ci avevano garantito la possibilità di sistemare l'auto in parcheggio privato, invece non è venuto […] nessuno a prenderla, c'era solo un posto per sosta momentanea occupato, l'abbiamo lasciata lì e abbiamo preso la multa!! Siamo dovuti andare alle 11 di sera a mettere l'auto in un altro parcheggio non convenzionato spendendo moltissimo. Inoltre un arredamento design deve essere nuovo di zecca e impeccabile per fare un certo effetto, altrimenti sembra di stare in un mercatino delle pulci. Dopo un investimento inziale così grande occorre avere anche i soldi per mantenere un luogo chic!!! Sconsigliamo vivamente questo hotel a tutti, non ne vale la pena!!! Lisätietoja
