"Everything was perfect"
Spent a get-away weekend with my daughter -- this was halfway between our two homes. Having attended William and Mary, we were familiar with the town and campus and this hotel gave us a great location for Old Williamsburg and Old Williamsburg as well as shopping and restaurants. Everything about the hotel was perfect. We will do this again.

I thought everything about the hotel was fantastic. Location, cleanliness, room condition. The only knock we experienced was the hot water was out in the hotel our last day. It was a minor inconvenience as it was restored with about 90 minutes. Breakfast buffet wasn't outstanding but it was adequate and for the price of the room and about what I expected. […] I would recommend they invest in another waffle iron, as there was only one and there were always guests waiting to use it. However, the other options for breakfast were adequate for me. "Good experience"
This hotel was what we have come to expect from Hampton Inn. The only problem was the toilet in the room had a very weak flush to it. For no apparent reason it just stopped working altogether the morning we were to check out, so for the rest of the stay we used the toilet down by the pool.
"Stop Looking <~~ This is the One!"
My husband and I have spent every year for the last 7 years in Williamsburg for one weekend in the spring. We have stayed at several different hotels and have been somewhat disappointed, but now we can say we have found the one! The Hampton Inn Central was clean, quiet, and check in and out took only a few seconds. We stayed in a King Suite w/ sofabed […] with our preschool aged child. The room was BIG, it had a small kitchen area w/ micro, sink and tiny fridge. There was an extra blanket and pillow in the closet for the sofabed, and the TV swiveled to accommodate either side of the room. The room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The one downside was the indoor pool/hot tub. They were kinda on the tiny side, and start to feel crowded with more than 3 families inside, the hot tub has room for 4, but not comfortably. The highlight of this hotel is the amazing FREE breakfast, including waffles and omelettes! The breakfast area was roomy, but did get somewhat crowded during peak times. There is a complimentary coffee bar open all day, and on weekdays they bake cookies for their guests! Overall, I am very happy with our stay at Hampton Inn Central in Williamsburg. "Very Family Friendly"
We booked three rooms for a multi-family trip. We went with the King Studio and it was perfect. The room was big enough for our family of five. We were not tripping over each other and the room was decroated nicely. The room came with an oversized office chair that was perfect for rocking my 6 month old to sleep. My only complaint was the pull out sofa […] wasn't so comfortable, but my 15 year old that slept there did not complain. The breakfast bar was decent, but the coffee that was available 24/7 was great. Staff was very friendly at check-in and called to see that we had everything we needed. The Hampton Inn in Williamsburg was as well-appointed as it could be, and a significant bargain for the rate. It was about 5 minutes away from Colonial Williamsburg, though walking there is not possible from this location. The room itself was spacious, clean, and with wonderful amenities including a reading chair and flat-panel television with AV/HDMI […] inputs. Awesome stay. Very clean & well maintained hotel. Convenient to Colonial Williamsburg & other local sites. Our family enjoyed the hot breakfasts and the entire staff was helpful and courteous. A super value. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting this area.

The toilet was not working but the desk clerck brought us a card key for an empty room 2 doors down at 6:15 am. We were checking out that day. Hotel told me that she would send me a credit for the inconvience.
Clean, friendly staff, had to ask for things like hand cream, no refrigerator. All in all a comfortable stay

My husband and I were in Williamsburg for a marriage retreat hosted by our church. I was very pleased with the King Suite. It was huge! The room was clean and the staff were pleasant. The continental breakfast was as expected, liked the waffle maker. We look forward to future visits to Williamsburg and will definately stay at The Hampton Inn again.

Great location, friendly and helpful front desk staff, pool for the kids, good selection for breakfast. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available all day in reception area. Only small complaint would be not enough seating in the breakfast area. We would definitely stay again.

Everything about the stay was excellent. ALL of the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The beds were very comfortable with great linens and the rooms were very clean. The huge breakfast that was served was hot and very good.

Rooms were very clean and spacious. The only issue we had was that the shower water was too hot, other than that the hotel is a great place to stay at. The breakfast was good and had a variety of items. They also included a daily USA paper. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Not bad, but not special. AC kinds limped along in the middle of the night, sort of struggling to keep up. Mild discomfort so we didn't complain. It seemed to do fine during the day. The morning breakfast was... okay. Fruit, cereal, coffee and some choice of egg & sausage each morning. Only 1 waffle iron. Which always seemed to form a line. When you […] have a hotel this size... you need to have at least 2 waffle irons. If you plan on taking advantage of the free breakfast... get up early enough to beat the rush. Outside pool was dirty. During peak season you really need to clean the pool daily. It was obvious the outside pool hadn't been cleaned in a few days. Very close to colonial Williamsburg. Good price, decent free breakfast in the morning. Very small indoor pool, limited tv channels, but for a room to sleep at a cheaper price that is close to sites a great find. It did exactly what we needed. Hotel staff was great and it was CLEAN.
"Weekend family trip"
We really enjoyed our stay at this Hampton Inn. It is close to Busch Gardens & the Historic Triangle. The outdoor pool was small but nice & the indoor pool was nice but cold. The continental breakfast was very good, with a lot of variety, but there was no where for my family to sit to eat. The dining area was very nice but small. It was a busy holiday […] weekend, but definitely needs more seating available. "The Hampton Inn was a great place to stay"
My family and I had a great stay at the Hampton Inn. The staff was excellent and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. They offered fresh baked cookies everyday and a to go goodie bag that contained fresh fruit, muffins etc.. The hotel is not far from the attractions and restaurants. All around great stay
"Good Location - so so value"
Close to sights, and tons of great restaurant options close by. AC was wall mounted unit that was very loud and annoying. Otherwise well equipped, nice views, good breakfast. Comfort Inn across the street much less expensive. That may be better value.

"Convenient, almost new, no frills for CW"
On a strip of similar no frills chain hotels, the Hampton Inn did all that it promised. That is, provide us with a very clean, comfortable room, with nice beds and the usual very forgettable free breakfast. Very conveniently located for Colonial Williamsburg, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
