"Non-smoking room IS NOT smoke free!"
Shabby, dated furniture and a very crabby night clerk at the desk greeted us. Phone in our room did not work, neither did one of our lamps. Our room reeked of cigarette smoke, as did the entire "non-smoking" hallway. The morning desk attendant was MUCH nicer, however, and she worked really hard to keep the breakfast room stocked and cleaned. "Super 8 in St. Cloud - good price - no frills"
Was for sale, but still being maintained. Rooms still being kept up. In a good area - close to everything. Slept good! Didn't need swimming just a place to sleep so for the price it suited our needs perfectly.

Desk clerk was bored wasn't friendly until I joked w/ him about being bored. In-room service was pretty good; we had a few issues which were taken care of quickly. Breakfast: would have liked skim milk!
Carpet was so gross would not take our socks off. The lobby was a complete mess. Bad first impression. Location is great and the bed was comfortable.

the beds were comfortable, the carpet was stained, half of the lights did not work in the room, the shower/bathtub drain was so slow there was ankle deep water in the bottom after a shower.

carpets filthy tub filthy bed had brown spots on the sheets i was told they would give me clean sheets so i could make my own bed.... when i said u want ME to make my own bed, I was told they would give me a new room. woke up at 630 to barking dogs

This hotel is currently for sale with a visible for sale sign outside. It smells like old smoke. They need a cleaning company in it to take out all the bad smell. Also, our tub was dripping and obviously old mold stains. It was super cheap because I very early booking but glad we were only there for about eight hours. "not recommended"
dirty light colored rug. not very pleasant night staff person. basically no continental breakfast, very limited selection. old TV. needs to be from the 21st century. Toilet lid falls off. And I don't understand why the cleaning staff would unplug any lamp in the room. I don't understand why the staff wouldn't check to make sure they're all working and […] that all items are plugged in and functioning properly, especially after check-out. the hotel was the most disgusting thing i ever stayed in. would never recommend this to anyone. was not worth $1.00. we called friday night to ask to be moved to a differnet room we were told we could but they would not recommend the room would be any better. the floors had stains on them, i would not take my shoes off in the room at all. this is the […] worst and most disgusting room i have ever stayed in. it was a waste of our money!!!!!! close to many restaurants, book store and shopping. Non-smoking room was clean,very faint odor of smoke in bedding. Not enough to trigger my allergies. Hotel fully booked for the night.
it was very dirty and smelly. i was afraid to sleep on the sheets. the whole place smelled like smoke. when i drove in, one of the rooms had the screen off the window and a guy was leaning in to the room talking... very disconcerting atmosphere for a mom and her teenage daughter. i would never ever go there again and wish i had left before we slept […] there!!!! it was la terrible experience!!! "Super 8 Mn"
The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel has been around a while, but the room was clean. It suited my needs well, and the cost was very reasonable. The only negative was that my room did not have screens on the windows so I could not open them. I think my room was an exception, as I saw screens on all of the other rooms. Not a big deal really, […] but the weather was mild and I would have opened the window if it had screens. It did not bother me enough to change rooms, and I did not even mention it to the staff.. Even though we were there only one night, it was nice to have a clean, quiet sanctuary.
