BEST WESTERN VICTORIA PALACE - Lontoo

We got two double rooms in the separate annex builiding - top floor, no lift. The rooms were small; the other one had to lay on the bed if the other one wanted to move. The bed was only 120 cm wide and not big enough for two normal size adults. One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed and definetly not worth the money.

The hotel is located conveniently near Victoria station and within walking distance of King's Rd. The area itself is OK. The condition of the room we stayed in was pretty poor. They had 3 bed crammed in so tight you couldn't even roll a small carry-on bag through the door because the beds were crammed into the chest of drawers by the door. The beds […] are terrible. We had a great stay the hotel met all of our needs. One remidial point was that we were in a basement room which was no big deal, however we are freash air sleepers we always have a window open regardless of the weather. The weather was fine but it was the smokers who congriated outside just above our window and as a result either later in the night […] or early in the morning the cigarette smoke drifted into our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was in the annex and very small, but had all the facilities required and was clean and well maintained. Lots of places nearby to get breakfast.

I thought the room was basic, but very nice. We got upgraded to a bigger room than we had booked and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. Only thing was that the bathroom was very cold as the window had draft by the frame, but we kept the door closed all night and it was fine. Great location, friendly and helpful staff. First thing i noticed on arrival was the cleanliness of the hotel. Room was quite small but comfy beds and had a pleasant stay and will definately use this hotel again next time we visit London.

We were really pleased with our choice of hotel. I had read the review on trip advisor before our visit so was a little wary of what to expect, but the room was very clean, warm, beds were comfy and had all of the facilities we required, the location was excellent and staff very attentive. We didnt eat breakfast in the hotel as it wasnt included in […] our tarriff and at an additional £12 per head we thought it a bit pricey but there are so many eating places in the area it wasnt a problem.The traffic and other guests were a little noisy at times but it was London. Chose this place after trawling through the reviews of unsatisfactory B&Bs in the area in order to avoid a commute in beife catching a train to venice from Victoria. The location of the hotel is great - about a 5 minute walk to the Victoria Station Underground stop, and a 15 minute walk to Buckingham Palace or Westminster Abbey. The annex is a little strange in that it is around a corner from the main hotel and breakfast is not included (but it is in included in the price of the main part of the hotel). this hotel is positioned in a great area; with the tub you are close to everything.The room was clean and the staff very helpfull with any problem I could have; they even help me with the wi-fi connection on my iphone wich I had problems with. Could not have being more sitisfied with. We also stayed one more night on June 21. This time they gave us […] a room in an ajacant buiding on the ground floor. Theroom was clean but not bigger than a closet ... very clustrofobic. I can't say enough about this hotel. They also gave us a complimentary upgrade. Wow! Easy to walk from the Victoria Train/Metro station. This was airconditioned and just wonderful. Nice sate location. I recommend you buy a London Pass before you leave home. All museums are then free to enter and saves you a lot of money. It also includes Metro tickets […] so you can ride unlimited while you need to. We arrived at one train station and caught the metro immediately to Victoria station and it was a piece of cake. Although our expectations were not high we were very pleased with the facilities , a basement apartment near Victoria - excellent kitchen and living room space, clean bathroom and comfy bed. We were only there for a night but it was ideally located for Victoria and what we needed to do - would have suited for longer as you could happily self cater. […] There was little sense of being in a hotel which suited us. i booked a single room with a private bath in the annex building. the room itself is pretty small, but i was expecting that and i dont care about room size. every person who works here is so genuinely nice and helpful. they also have outlet adaptors for use by guests for a refundable $5 deposit. the location is great. if you are flying to/from gatwick, […] you can take the gatwick express train and be there in half an hour. one stop on the train. the best part was that the room had air conditioning. We were booked to stay in the hotel for 2 nights however our flight was delayed due to the snow and we had to ask to stay an extra night. We'd been given a free upgrade on check-in and were worried that we might have to move rooms or pay more, however the staff were very understanding and we were able to stay in our room at the same price as the other […] two nights. We're very grateful to the reception staff for this. Also, when we did check out, they kept our bags for us and reassured us that we could get a room if our next flight was delayed. Perfect location. Close to Buckingham Palace. We walked everywhere including to Picadilly Circus, the London Eye, and the Chelsea neighborhood. We had our own flat which was wonderful. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was very close to two underground station in an excellent area close to everything. The hotel was placed in a quiet street but still very close to a street packed with breakfast and dinner resturants + pubs. We treid out several breakfast cafeterias that had very good food. The hotel receptionist gave us on its own initiative a map of london […] and showed us all the important details and other information we needed. Everything was very comfortable. The room was very clean and nice. Bathroom looked very new. Only negative thing was that it was quite small. I definitely want to stay here again. Fuí a pasar 3 días allí. La verdad que el hotel es ideal. Muy limpio y nuevo. Por poner una queja he de decir que la habitación era pequeña. No descarto volver a ese hotel la próxima vez que vaya a la ciudad.

Fijn, goed geslapen, leuke buurt, we zaten in dependance aan de overkant dus binnenkomen met sleutel vd voordeur. Telefoon gebruikt, niet duur. We kregen een adaptor voor onze stekker te leen zodat we de computer konden opladen etc. Europese stekker ook bij wasbak.

Hotellet ligger nemt fra Victoria Station, der er mange gode pubs og spisesteder tæt på. Roligt kvarter, ingen støj. Eneste anke er sengenes kvalitet. Kan anbefales.

Dette hotelle var helt perfekt. Vi hadde en leilighet like ved hotelle,stue,kjøkken,bad,to soverom med to bad. Rengjøring av leiligheten hver dag, også oppvasken tok de. Butikker,suprmarked og koselige resturanger,puber like ved. Kun 7 minutter fra victoria stasjon. Like i nærheten av flere teathere. 10 minutter med drosje til byens hovedgater. Udmærket hotel til prisen. Vi boede i en anneksbygning på 4. sal uden elevator, men det venlige personale var meget hjælpsomme mht bagagen. Flot udsigt fra værelset over London Eye og Big Ben.
