Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä ja palvelu asiallista. Huoneiden ja hotellin kunto surkea, mutta sängyt olivat ihan ok.

We were travelling with a 2 year old child and were prepared for not-so-fancy hotel so there were no big surprises. This hotel is all about location - Tivoli and central railway station were within a short walking distance, as were also many of Copenhagen's lovely parks. If walking is too much, Copenhagen is one of the best cities anywhere to see by […] bike. Hotel offers bike rentals for quite affordable price (100DKK/day) and the bikes were also in good condition. Only few of them were equipped with a child seat and we managed to get last of them so you might consider booking in advance. The room was smallish but big enough for three of us. There were shared toilets and showers in the corridor and the room itself contained only sink which had two separate taps - one for hot and one for cold water - so it wasn't exactly the masterpiece of usability. The room didn't have a kettle so if you wanted to have hot water for tea, your options were to get to downstairs' restaurant or coffee machine. If the restaurant happens to be closed and you didn't have few crowns for the machine, your last option for hot water would be to go across the street to other hotel's reception. In overall we were satisfied, but there was one big issue - as long as we were in our room, our noses were running and we had a cough, so I suspect we were unlucky enough to get a room with a mold problem. Tuli mieleen Red light katu amsterdamista, joskin taso ei ollut lähelläkään samaa.

The location is excellent, under five minute walk from central train station and Tivoli. The shared facilities were fine, but not spacious, and poorly ventilated. I've stayed almost a week here, affordable price, very clean, nice room, good location. I had a single bed, and it was spacious enough. The bathroom was also fine, hot water 24 hours. If you're looking for a nice and pleasant stay at an affordable price in Copenhagen, I reccomend this place.

Stayed in the annexe for one night and got a few hours sleep: the sounds on people walking in the corridor was enough to wake me in the early hours but just to make sure the noise from the rear of the hotel- of deliveries etc, made sure that I was up from 6am. A basic, no frills room which wasn't worth the money paid.

If you want to pay less but still be comfortable and close to the center, this is the right hotel. The neighborhood is "characteristic" (xxx shops and workers on location), but very safe (I'd prefer to be here than in Chicago downtown).

This hotel was in a great location! Just minutes away from the train station and main shopping strip. The rooms were simple but clean and the shared facilities were also very clean. overall very impressed with this hotel considering the price.

I think this falls more under a Motel category than a Hotel. It's old, sweaky, the walls are paper thin, you hear everything, everyone who goes by. I was miserable the whole time! This place is in dire need of a make-over.There is NO shower in the rooms ( even though it said so on hotel.com website ), just a sink. was very upset to realise i had actually booked into a one star hotel and had payed x amount for that which wasnt cheep to say the least. for x amount kr.more i could have booked into a 3 star 50 meters up the road inc.breakfast for 2 people. but in fairness to the hotel when i booked the "hotel" it did say in the website "hotels.com " that it was a […] one star. i thought it was a mistake as my parents had stayed there last year and it was fine that time and outside there is a sign up on the wall that says 3 star hotel. so long story short i thought the one star was a mistake but it wasnt. the room was situated with a view over the back yard which was great but we were right beside 5 toilets and a shower. the walls were paper thin and the other guests were extremely noisy going in and out of these toilets since early. we could also hear a cat which cried constantly but this could be a mistake as at some points we could hear it and thought maybe it was a baby. still undecided if it was a cat or a baby. the communal shower was big and clean but difficult to take clothes off and on again in there. didnt fancy running starkers from my room to the shower. sure the other guests didnt fancy seeing me run starkers round the hotel either. the room itself was warm and clean and i got the single beds like asked so that was great. there was also a tv int he room although we didnt use it. there was unfortunately no kettles ,hairdryers and the usual stuff. it was grand but i just felt and my brother felt we were a little ripped off. but now we know and have learnt not to be so naive again in the future and just because its a 3 star hotel dosent mean that they dont have a section thats one star. one more thing, when we arrived there were a bunch of teens on the sofas in the reception area. one of them was flaked out on a sofa suffering from a hangover by the looks of things. not really something you want to see when booking into a hotel. more what you would see in a hostel. it was si Lisätietoja

ok cheap hotel for the budget traveller in a little rough area of the city (drugs,prostitues and pimps) but its safe if your streetwise. good resturants all around (can recommend the "good morning vietnam" resturant on abel cathrines gade) 5 minute walk me and the wife had a great long weekend its close enough to all of copenhagen tourist sights

Convenient location just a couple blocks from central station, so if you're arriving on land, whether by train or bus, you've got an easy walk to your hotel. Reception area is spacious compared to many Eurpoean hotels and it's got a good WiFi connection in the comfortable lobby—though no connection in rooms. Rooms are another matter. They're very basic, […] without toilet or shower, though they do have a sink. Toilets are shared and are down the hall, as are the shower closets. Rooms have a tiny TV located in a neck-breaker of a position if you wanna see it while in bed. Beds comfortable enough. Biggest deficiency with the rooms is that the walls are PAPER-THIN. You can hear regular conversations between rooms, meaning that if those next to you decide to party or get loud, you'd better go and get yourself invited to the fun cuz you're not likely to sleep. This can be a problem here because the hotel's reasonable rates mean that groups of late-teen/early-twenties folks can afford to let a few rooms and party down. Unlike a lot of hotels that charge you for breakfast, this breakfast IS worth the price. It's an endless buffet of high quality breads, cheeses, yogurts, meats, hard-boiled eggs, juice, milk, coffee, tea. All-in-all rooms are a bit overpriced for what you get here—no private bathroom and the thinnest walls ever. But if you're looking for a good location with great breakfast, this'll do. Lisätietoja

I'll admit the shared bathrooms weren't too pleasant, but they were clean, I was actually lucky enough to have the shared bathroom all to myself since no one else was staying in the wing! The street nearby is a little shabby has a few sex shops but the people are harmless and not too obvious. Not far from the meat-packing district either: where all the bars and clubs are. Its really basic. Not pleasant but doesn't cost a lot either. Wouldn't say it was comfortable, but it was clean and private and if you travel like me, all you need is a place to rest your head at night. That's what you get, and that's all you get. ... The Absalon Annex is one of the more affordable hotels in Copenhagen. It's near the red light district, which I wasn't aware of when I booked it, but I walked around at night and it wasn't that bad. There was a sink in the room, but my room did not have a full bathroom, so I had to use the shared toilets and showers on the floor. There is a small (very small) TV in the room that I didn't even try to turn on. My only complaint is that the carpets smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. They have a luggage room for you to keep your luggage after or before you check in or out. You need a hotel room key card to get in the room so that means everyone staying there can get in, but for the most part, the other guests aren't usually looking out to steal your belongings. For a low-budget stay in expensive Copenhagen, this hotel came out tops! Note that there are two hotels in the one location here; the Absalon, which has larger rooms with en suite and nice televisions, and the Absalon Annexe which has basic rooms with shared bathroom facilities. We stayed in the Absalon Annexe, and couldn't have been happier - the […] room was basic but comfortable, well decorated and maintained, bright and airy (I love rooms with operable windows!) and SPOTLESSLY clean, as indeed was the rest of the hotel. The reception staff couldn't have been more helpful if they tried, and the free wifi is a bonus! The neighbourhood is the grungy red light part of town, but boho in a cool kind of way - we had no issues with the pushers and hookers who work across the block, and it is such a convenient and up and coming area. In terms of safety, the surrounding area is just like any other district by a city Central Station in Europe, but the old town is just a stone's throw away; as long as you're street wise there's no need to be nervous. A word of caution; the Danes love to smoke, so if you want a non-smoking room you should ask for it well in advance / at time of booking. For a super cheap stay in a very expensive city I was very satisfied and would reccomend this hotel to other budget travellers looking for a secure, clean base to explore the city.
