From the time we checked in and daily you are surrounded by comfort. The rooms are wonderfully decorated with many comforts of home. The breakfast had yummy food and the fitness facility had state of the art equipment. The staff was all friendly and the evening social was relaxing and it saved us from having to eat out so much. This was our second time there, changed rooms twice the first visit. This time we looked over the room before we took it. It was finethe place needs some updateing which I hear is about to happen. The location was great easy access to highways and most stores. Buffet was pretty good staff was helpful.

Very cute hotel with large rooms and great kitchen area. Price was right and the people were very polite. I will put it on my list of hotels to recommend.

Although it's about an hour away from Washington, D.C., getting to the metro is just a short free shuttle or quick local metrobus ride away. I was traveling with a young child and was looking for a hotel suite with all of the amenities in the room and a separate bedroom. Location was key as we would be traveling not only in Gaithersburg, but also in DC and Virginia. The room was great. The full kitchen was clean and well stocked with all necessary implements. The separate bedroom made it […] easy to maintain a sleep schedule for my son while being able to spend time with friends and family after he was sleeping. There are two TVs, so even when we were relaxing or getting meals ready etc, we could be watching different shows at the same time. The bathroom is in the bedroom portion of the suite, so you do have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom...no issue here because my son is a very sound sleeper, but if you have light sleepers in bed, that may be an issue. The hotel has a very nice "community mixer" that is nice for spending time with other guests and finding playmates for the kids. The pool is nice...it was clean and comfortable, but small. They also have a "sport court" that was set up for basketball, but can also be used for tennis and volleyball, although, I never saw it in any of the other iterations. The location is decent. Major highways and thoroughfares are close by and will get you access to the the 270 corridor and to the Beltway, and that will get you everywhere else. If you are driving, that means about 35 minutes to DC and about 40 minutes to Falls Church VA. Oh, and be careful when driving in any of these areas as there are speeding cameras all over these areas. All in all this is a great place to stay. The only thing that I would change is the location, but if you don't mind the driving, then this is a really good option for value travel. Lisätietoja

We had a great stay at the Hyatt! I was expecting a great hotel because of the reviews but it was more than I expected. It was just an overnight stay but I wish we could stay forever!!! The suite was awesome! Very clean, very neat, very comfortable. I didn't want to get out of bed! The free breakfast was great!. The pricing was awesome and the location was awesome. They had lots of servcies. The shuttle dropped me to the metro everyday after the complimentary breakfast. And As soon as I return there used to be Happy hour with lots of items. Laundry service was affordable and cheap($). The kitchen was a plus. This gave us the feeling of being at home. Swimming […] pool was nicely located. The shuttle dropped us anywhere withing 5 miles radius. There are two shopping malls in that radius and Blockbuster express and redbox were walkable distance. The few problems we faced during our 2-3 week stay were: - The shuttle was almost always late while picking up from metro. (20 - 40 minutes wait).They ask us to come in taxi if they miss us at the metro and pay us back for the taxi charge. They way they spoke to me while paying me back was rude. - The ground floor rooms had a lil bit of ant problem. - some of the furniture were weak and broken. i.e. drawers. - Parking during the night was almost alwasy hard to find near the room. We had a great stay at the Hyatt suites. The room was comfortable and spacious. Stocked kitchen, comfy furniture and bed, and separate bed/bath from living area. Some minor maintenance issues- kitchen faucet would spray under handle if turned up too high, and found some tiny ants by one window, but wasn't a big deal for the 2 day stay. The hot breakfast […] buffet was very good with eggs, sausage, potatoes, muffins, breakfast breads, cereals, milk, juice and one other hot breakfast item (french toast or biscuits w/ gravy while we were there). We also had consistently great interactions with all hotel personnel, they were all extremely friendly but also remained efficient (that is, didn't talk for 10 minutes before getting checked in, but was friendly while checking things in). This hotel was terrific for our family trip to DC. The metro station was only a 5 minute drive. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. We took advantage of the full hot breakfast buffet each morning. It was well stocked with fresh food. The couch was slightly worn, but my son didn't have any complaints about the pull out sofa bed. The staff at this hotel is great!!!!!!! I will reommend it to stay if you don´t want to pay downtown DC hotel prices....breakfast is included (and not to bad), there is a Thursday night Happy Hour for guests, a small pool.......the only downside are things not in control by the staff and they try to help you with this situation.....it is a 20 to 25 […] minute walk to the Metro Station, there really are no restaurants or stores nearby and the bus service is so, so.....that said the manager tries his best to provide good van service to help the guests get to where they want....and with a 10 minute van drive, you can be at Washingtonian which has Target, Khols and every restuarant you might want.....they will even pick you up...all, in all, it is a positive place to stay a few days....thank you for all your help!!!! The Hyatt Summerfield in Gaithersburg was con-veniently located near an interstate. The suite was nicely appointed. It was a good location for business travelers.

They made my family feel at home during our one week stay. Everyone was extremely friendly. I felt I received more than expected amazing service for the rate paid.

Although the hotel was very nice and we enjoyed the complementary food, our experience was soured by a break-in on the last day of our stay. While we were out of our room for breakfast, someone broke into our room and stole two credit cards from my purse. Within a few hours they had charged several hundred dollars on each card. We were very impressed with the suite that we stayed in, not only was the price good, but the services were remarkable, especially the waiter to go service. The room itself was amazing with a fully stocked kitchen to a very nice desk and 2 big flat screen tv's

A great stay, very child friendly. Large clean rooms, convenient location to Washington D.C. and the metro. Staff very helpful.

The power went out recently during the snow storm so I needed a local hotel room that would make the GF happy and we were pleasantly surprised. The one bedroom was a suite and was nice. Hotel was great, stayed her 10 years ago and the place is exactly the same with very minor wear-and-tear. Very comfortable for my family of four, we could have chosen the one bedroom but took the two bedroom instead, very spacious and the kitchen area was absolutely great! We would definitely stay here again.

Was visiting family for the thanksgiving holiday checked in staff greeted me with a smile, suite were very clean and roomy, even though it was close to the highway the room was quite. I missed the free breafast but everything was great and would stay again

We stayed here our last night in Maryland, as we were moving cross country. It was perfect. We got a 2 room suite, and it had so much space! We have 3 kids, so our 2 boys (7 and 5) stayed in one room, and then our room had a walk in closet big enough for our 2 year old daughter to sleep in. The room was clean and comfortable, the furniture and carpet was dated but other then that the room was quite good for the value. A car is needed to get around, there are no stores close to the hotel.

Originally my boyfriend and I were going to travel through the night and hit DC by Friday morning. We decided to leave Thursday morning instead. We got to the hotel around midnight or so, and it was very well kept. At check-in, granted there was only one person working, but he was very slow. Overall, and other than waiting for what seemed life forever at check in, the hotel rooms were amazing, well kept, very clean, and probably one of the best nights sleep we got on the trip even it was for only 4hrs.
