Sijainti.
South Lake Tahoe-alueella sijaitsevan Marriott's Timber Lodge-majoitusliikkeen lähistöltä löytyy muun muassa Heavenly Ski Resort, murtomaahiihtoa ja lumikenkäkävely. Alueen muihin nähtävyyksiin kuuluu Zephyr Cove Beach.

"Great service"
All the rooms at the Marriott have either full kitchens or small kitchenettes with microwave, refridge, etc. Our microwave was not working and they replaced it within 10 mins. Best service I've ever seen at a hotel. Great property. Great rates.
"The timber lodge is very nice!"
Very clean high class hotel, I stayed in one of the 1 bedroom villas and it had everything I could ask for! I really liked the up to date kitchen, and the jacuzzi tub! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

"Well located and very confortable"
I stayed 3 nights for a conference in a neighbor hotel and enjoyed my room and the outside hot tubs. The only thing I would critic is that the hotel does not have a restaurant for breakfast. It has a fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker though.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel the only issue i had with it was that there is not a late checkout and that even though your paying to stay at the hotel you still have to pay to park your car.
Forgot to clean bathroom floor. Forgot to leave coffee and creamer and sugar
"Marriott Timber Cove Lodge Resort, S Lake Tahoe"
What a fabulous find, right at Stateline, walk to everything and great for families. Booked a suite for a great price, last minute on Labor Day weekend - unheard of! Teenagers saw a movie in the complex, swam in fab pool, we saw fireworks and a car show, did shopping and gambling. Truly, I would look for Marriott Suites next time I go anywhere!

we loved this hotel but when we arrived early (unfortunately at 10:30) the front desk told us our room would be made a priority and they would call us when the room was ready. After 1:30 we went back to inquire about the room and someone working at the front RUDELY informed me that technically they didn't even have to give us the room until 4. "Nice hotel, thin walls"
The hotel looked like it was one of the nicest in the area, and it was pretty nice. Great location. However, the people in the room next to us were up until all hours of the night and the walls were very thin, so we could hear (and smell) the party well into the morning hours.

I had high hopes but was disappointed. The staff seemed overwhelmed with the crowds, the $24 parking charge was ridiculous, and there are other places nearby that are a much better value. It's a 'vacation club' property, which I learned is different than a standard Marriott. People join a club and can use different properties around the country. This place was amazing! You do have to pay for parking nightly but its worth it. The rooms were clean and very cozy. The bed was by far the most comfortable Ive experienced at any hotel. "Wonderful Pre-Winter Wonderland!"
Had a beautiful stay at the Marriott's Timber Lodge in South Lake Tahoe. We were so pleased as the staff from Valet to Housekeeping was very welcoming and helpful. The only downfall was that the room we were given was such a far walk from the only elevators with direct access to the lobby Not sure if the reason we were given those rooms was because […] we booked through Hotels.com at a discount. From driving up to the valet to checking out, the hotel staff was superb. Additionaly, the hotel and especially the room was very nice. It was clean, roomy and everything you needed for an extended stay, much more than we expected. "Marriott Timberlake Hotel in South Tahoe"
Very nice Hotel next to Stateline. Staff was very helpful. Left us a food basket for our 25th wedding anniversary. Great pool with 4 hot tubs. Access to beach where they had fireworks. Nice resturant called Fire and Ice where they cook in front of you. Only knock is $24.00 to park.

"Marriot Timber Lodge Resort at South Lake Tahoe"
The Timber Lodge Resort was one of the cleanest facilities we have ever visited and was on the California side of the border. We had a fun and relaxing summer stay close to the Nevada gaming action but far enough away to avoid the noise. 4 blocks from the beach and minutes away from fine dining, hiking, fishing and golf.

"Great Place - Just Expected More"
The hotel was beautiful and very convienent to the Gondola it made skiing a breeze. I do have a couple of complaints. The housekeeping was not what one would expect from a Marriott, basically all that was done daily was that the bed was made. Incidentals were not restocked and the kitchenette and bathroom were never touched. Also, I had to get a replacement […] key 6 times the final time that I went to the front desk for a new key they gave me two and only one of them worked. The television were great flat panel LCD's however there wasn't any high definition channels. I expected more from the Marriott and for the price of the room. Dont get me wrong the hotel overall was fantastic it was just some minor issues that I think could easily be fixed. The hotel staff was ALWAYS friendly and nice. I was expecting the ski check to be an inconvenience however it was far from it. "Lowering of Standards"
I normally stay at this hotel when I go to Lake Tahoe. However, the service this time around left something to be desired. The room was never vacuumed while we were there. While they do serve waffles and orange juice in the morning, they actually charge a dollar for the OJ if that's all you want. "Great stay"
Our stay was very relaxing. They have on site shops restaraunts and other services. The pool area was great. They give you a free beach pass and the beach is right across the street. I did not like that parking on site is valet only and they charge 22.00 a day. We paled next door at Harrahs for free and had to walk a little it wasn't bad.
