service was great, friendly staff. overall- nice hotel but had 2 concerns- the room had an odor as you walked in- almost like urine in the carpet or something. and then at night it got quite cool and when we turned on the heat it smelled just like a burning hair dryer- needless to say, we didn't feel safe leaving the heater run for any amount of ti […] me. I usually have a few select Super 8 Hotels I will stay at because they are showing there age. Was disappointed after staying at the ER Super 8recently. It used to be kept up on the exterior but I noted that the landscaping was in need of improvement from years past.Weeds growing trees and schrubs needing attention and so on. We stayed two nights if […] it were not for the ear plugs I would have been up all night as on both nights the room above us was jumping and running going on until 3AM. Basic hotel, great location, great rate, great breakfast. Room with dirty toilet and loud recurring refrigerator noise. Pool warm. overall fine for one night short stay

We went snowmobiling in Eagle River, Super 8 was right on the trail and next to a gas station which made fueling up easy. The breakfast was great esp the waffles. There was fast food within walking distance. The whirlpool was great after a long day out on the trail. I wasn't expecting much of it going into it, unfortunately everything else reasonably priced was booked the weekend I went to Eagle River. Glad my expectation were low otherwise I would have been even more disappointed. Recent conversion from smoking to non smoking rooms meant even the non smoking rooms stunk to high heaven.

This hotel is in a very easy to find spot. The room was very nice for the price we paid. However, the TV acted oddly, turning off all by itself, and then not going back on again. We almost changed rooms, but the set managed to work eventually. The lady at the desk said there might be interference with other remote controls from other rooms! That's very […] odd and means they should take care of that problem. They're probably due for new TV's anyway, as the set was an 'old fashioned' one. Also one of the light bulbs didn't work. If you need the space, get the room with the king and queen beds. Very comfy and quiet. Close to the fair grounds for the musky tournament and to numerous fast food places. The fish fry at the Friendship restaurant across the street was very good. The location is close to everything in downtown Eagle River. Now the but... Beds were hard. Breakfast very limited. Found it a bit odd that there was an envelope for tips in the room. In a pinch will stay here again.

Rooms were clean. Beds and furniture comfortable but basic. Within walking distance to downtown

This hotel was better than I had expected. We asked for a King and got a King and Queen. Not sure if they made a mistake or not. Hallway was quiet considering the large amount of families that were there.
