Good service. Clean and quiet rooms. Breakfast selection was good. The hot food (eggs and sauage) was edible but not great. The enterance to the hotel was obscured, making it a little hard to find at night.

The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was great. I would highly recommend it.

Even though I had high expectations because of the reviews that I had read, I was genuinely impressed. Plenty of parking (free) even though the hotel was very full. Greeted by friendly staff who were knowledgeable about the things we were going to do & see while there, my room was on the top (4th) floor, close to the elevator. Not an issue, as I never […] heard it while in my room. My room was immaculate. No stains on the linens or bed covers, which were all white. Comfortable beds (we had a room with 2 Queen sized beds) that made me want to replace my mattress set at home. The bathroom was spotless. The free breakfast was excellent, with many options from cold cereals to pastries to a waffle station, scrambled eggs & bacon, an oatmeal station, fruits, yogurts, juices, coffees and teas. Was very pleased with this hotel. Close to the outlets too! Only thing was that we had written some requests when we made the reservation and neither of them were acknowledged. However after repeating those requests when we checked in they were taken care of so no harm done! Very nice staff and well kept, clean hotel. Will stay there again!!

Our stay here was one of a two night stay with a few days in San Antonio in between. We have stayed at this hotel several times before when we come for the Texas Music Teacher's Conference in San Antonio and do some shopping in San Marcos. This first night we were awakened by a 3:15 a.m. wake up call that we did not request! We were so upset and had […] a difficult time going back to sleep. We talked to the manager (Ryan) the next morning and he was SO NICE! Hampton Inn has a "satisfaction quarenteed" policy so we got our money back for that night! Wow! Great location in San Marcons (a bigger or more prominent sign on the feeder road pointing to the hotel entrance would be helpful since other businesses surround it). Plenty of free parking space. We had to wait a while to check in because there was no one at the front desk when we arrived. Other guests arrived and had to wait as well. Very nice and […] clean room, super comfortable beds. Beautiful granite bathroom counter and great shower! I was a little concerned about noise since we were put in a room by the elevators but it did not turn out to be a problem at all. We could hear some noise from the interstate but it was not bad. I appreciated the nice complimentary breakfast and array of food choices as well as the roomy breakfast area. The eggs (powdered?) and cut-up fruit (thawed from frozen?) were a bit disappointing but there were plenty of other hot and cold food options as well as morning beverages to choose from. The servers kept the serving areas well-stocked and the eating areas clean. I think this and other nicer San Marcos hotels tend to be pricey, but I would be glad to come back and stay here again. We flew in for a Funeral in Wimberely and we were quite happy with our stay overall. The only thing that could have made it perfect was not to have the sound of the UPS trucks unloading and making a lot of loud banging noise right in back of our hotel window. It really bothered us during a sad time. Other than that everything else was wonderful.

The beds were absolutely amazing! Comfortable, soft and pillows were great. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good- lots of selections.

Very clean hotel. Electricity went out around 6:00 PM for the entire neighborhood the evening we stayed due to an auto accident. The front desk loaned us a flash light until the lights came back on about an hour later. Beds are a little firm, but okay. Breakfast was also good. Nice, clean place to stay.

We were in town for a wedding. My parents and brother and his wife were across the parking lot at the Holiday Inn Express. The Holiday Inn Express was OK but not as nice as the Hampton. The Hampton was very nice. the breakfast area was very comfortable and inviting and the foot was very good. The hotel was so far so good, however, the fitness equipment really old and would need definetly a service. The hotel itself was a bit old, however, they're renovating it at the moment. A disappointment was the breakfast, since they were running out of everything 30Min. before ending time.

Only issue was that there were a couple of trucks pulling trailers in the parking lot taking up a lot of the limited parking spaces. Hard to find a place to park.

2nd time we stayed here visiting daughter in college. Pool water was like warm bath water. I could have stayed there all day. Breakfast was very good. Fruit, waffles,bisquits, bacon. Fitness room has Treadmill and elliptical. The only negative thing was my phone rang every morning at 1am. I informed the front desk as to maybe there was a early wake […] up for the previous tennant but they couldnt find anything and it happened every day for 3 days. This hotel was honestly the cleanest hotel I've EVER stayed in. We checked in late and were helped quickly and accomodated very well. The breakfast was delicious, too!

We took grandchildren on short family vacation and stayed in San Marcos. The hotel room was great. The queen size beds were very comfortable, and we all enjoyed our breakfast.

Very nice stay...rooms were clean and well kept. Good hot breakfast in the morning. Close to University and outlet malls.

Great hotel with great staff. Excellent breakfast and room was very comfortable. I would definitely go again. Rates were good too.

Great hotel, with great personnel. Very friendly. We were there to shop at the outlet mall for a couple of days, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed here last year at this time, and enjoyed it then too - hence - out return this year! Great breakfast, everything fresh, hot and well prepared. Will probably come back next year.

Great hotel for the price.

Very clean, comfortable and the full breakfast was great. Didn't have to spend another $70 for breakfast.. Just ate at the motel.Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fint ophold. Boede der i 5 nætter. Meget fine og ikke mindst rene værelser. Lys og pæn morgenmadsstue og god morgenmadsbuffet. Levede fuldt op til forventningerne. Vi ankom en dag før planlagt og booket og ville gerne have haft en ekstra nat, men fik ved tidlig ankomst indtryk af, at de havde overbooket og at - selvom vi havde booket og fået konfirmation […] på to værelser - så stod vi åbenbart kun reserveret til et, men da vi dukkede op næste formiddag som oprindelig planlagt, havde de løst problemet og vi hørte ikke mere til det!? Excelente servicio y ubicacion

Como es de su conocimiento pague doble el primer hospedaje, ya que por "N" error mi reservación salio en San Marcos Camel California y no me pudieron apoyar a transferirme la reservación aun cuando fue la misma compañia..... me sentí robado.
