Perfect location for business travelers. The concept of shared utilities like iron board and irons are much appreciated. Would recommend to have a new drinking water in each room so the gusts can use that bottle to refill from the water dispenser.

check in took a good 15 minutes - I was the only guest at the desk - and no apology. NO iron in the room, Dark tiny room with window looking across to abother window. Windows dont open. So what os good about it? location and that is it.

The hotel has a great location and is very clean. The amenities were awesome. The rooms are small, but they have everything you need. I will definitely stay at Club Quarters again.

Stayed in a standard room for 4 nights. Much smaller room than a standard room you'd find in a suburban hotel. But who needs the space? Room was fine for two people. Location is great if you want to do anything downtown sf. Chinatown is a 5 min walk and bayline is about a 15 min walk. Restaurant/bar downstairs is convenient and decent food. This hotel was a very nice find in the Financial District. Very good access to the piers and immediate availability to walk about and catch public transportation throughout the city.

First room we tried smelt like smoke. Second room we tried smelt like a dentists office. The smells were really strong and the windows did not open. The third room they gave us was awesome. No smell. There is a nice gym and they will even bring a stationary bike or step machine to your room if you ask!

I especially liked that we could park (public garage 1/2 block away) and walk everywhere. Our room had a shower stall which I think is much safer than a tub-shower. We happened upon a very good Greek Restaurant (Kottori) which was fully booked but we had a drink and several nice appetizers at the bar before the musical we were attending. Hotel was fine, nothing special about it. One big negative though is that it really needs to have a parking agreement with one of the many garages in the area, be prepared to spend an extra $30 + for parking on top of your room charge.

This was my and my husband's first time in San Francisco. The location of the hotel was in the perfect location for walking to all the shops and resturaunts. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If we come again we will definately stay here again.

The hotel was in a good neighborhood, within walking distance to china town, but Fisherman's Wharf and Coit tower where abit farther. It was also close to public transportation bus and 50 minute BART ride to SFO. Not good parking availability nearby. Parking garages were $35-45 per night. This place is in a great location, just a couple blocks from the embarcedero and a couple of blocks from the BART. Not a ton of restaurants immediately around, but close enough within a reasonable walk. My only complaint is that the walls are thin enough to hear everybody around you.

Perfect room for a single businessman travelling. Not quite as good for a couple and would be a poor choice for families. Excellent hotel, services, location and extras. Especially liked coffee, water bottles and business / relaxation area on on the main floor.

Clean, comfortable, friendly hotel well positioned for the financial district, ferry building, north beach and china town. The in-house pub/restaurant 'Elephant and Castle' is sufficient for breakfast or a bite to eat later in the day; however, it is not very good. The only complaint I have about the hotel is the quality of the on-site catering.

The staff was very helpful. The hotel was clean and the common room was nicely appointed. I was surprised at how small the room was, and how narrow the hallways. Understood that this is often the case in large cities. Just wanted to point that out in case someone is sensitive to small spaces.

Club Quarters is a functional hotel near the ferry terminal and the financial district. It was a great location for my meeting but most of the bars and restaurants close early, so it's probably not the best spot if you're in San Francisco on holiday. The room itself was clean, the bed comfortable and had coffee making facilities.

Fantastic views from the sun deck on the roof, the Bay bridge and the Transamerican Pyramid, You can see those from your room as well, if you are lucky enough to get a high floor. I had stayed at Club Quarters in both NYC and Boston, so was quick to book the SF Club Quarters when I needed a place to stay on a last minute San Francisco trip. It was just right ... conveniently located, clean, efficient, well maintained and reasonably priced. stayed only one night for a business appointment, the location was extremely convenient to many restaurants, the Brazilian Consulate (important for me) and the Embarcadero/Montgomery St. BART stops. Clean, comfortable and the free water machines on most floors were a nice touch. Staff was friendly and helpful as well. Definitely would stay again.

When I say small, I mean no place to open a suitcase except on the desk! But the Club Room, downstairs, is very big, with work stations and both Apple and PC computers and printers available. Staff is very helpful. Located right near the Ferry Building (reminds me of Fanieul Hall in Boston) so no starvation!

Stayed here with my sister during the weekend. The location is excellent, both in terms of proximity to public transport, sights, and the general surrounding area, which, though it is the financial district, is pretty mellow and pleasant on non-weekdays. The amenities, such as the lounge and fitness center, are great, free water bottles on each floor, and special little perks like ipad loaners. Also very much appreciated the self-serve kiosks for check in and out.
