Kelly Inn on Main Avenue - Fargo

there were crumbs in my bed when I got in and they were not mine, the room was supposed to be non-smokingr but had a strong odor of smoke. We were going to stop there again on our return trip but were disappointed so got a different hotel on the way back. But on the up side the breakfast was great!!

I'm afraid calling this a hotel was an overstatement. It was definitely an old fashion motel that needed serious updating. Let's just say that the photos on the internet were taken from a very narrow view finder.The staff was very sweet, though. Hotels.com was very helpful when I wanted to rebook the next night at a different hotel.

Bathroom door did not even latch, carpet was soiled, loud drunks around front entry to office, room not at all as it was pictured on website.

We enjoyed the hot tub and pool area. Water temps were just right and areas were well maintained! Continental breakfast selections hit the spot:)

We have been to many hotels in the Fargo/Moorhead area with our son having gone to college and now residing in the area. This hotel has a great location and has everything that you need right on the premises. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We will utilize again in the future.

I was not to impressed with the rooms cleanliness. There was a leak in the toilet that caused the floor to be wet and there were little hairs in the faucet. Otherwise it was o.k. Clean bedding and breakfast was o.k.

Great value for the price. Good location, very nice breakfast. Fun restaurant attached with a very nice wait staff. We will stay here again.

My mistake,there are three Kelly Inns and I guess I stayed at the wrong one

Convenient location, comfortable rooms, good price, would stay again.

Heater fan was very noisy and kept us awake. Asked for someone to come and take a look at it, but nobody did. Bed was not very comfrotable.

This hotel is adequate for the price. Everyone was very friendly and the breakfast was better than most hotel free breakfasts. On the down side, the bed was little hard and the draperies did not close completely, I had to use the pant hangers to clip them shut. Nothing major.

Although it was a good price, the accommodations seemed outdated an uncomfortable for a family of four.

Nice size room. Center courtyard with outdoor pool looked nice...might have to come back during summer.

The hotel was fine and the people were nice enough, but it isn't what I would consider to be a 3 star hotel. The decor is very old, the mattresses are very flat and soft, the tv's are old and tiny, and the carpets were old and worn out. Not a bad hotel, just lower than expected based on the rating.

Pool, hot tub restaurants and the mall. Fun for kids.

We thought we were booked at the Kelly Inn closer to West Acres, and had a little difficulty finding this one. Carpet looked new throughout lobby and stairs - but there was definitely a lingering smell of cigarette smoke - which we hated. This probably was a hotel that allowed smoking in the past - and the smell is just not going anywhere. Room was reasonably priced but the room and hallway smelled of tobacco smoke. I wouldn't say anything normally but for a non smoking hotel it was very strong. Everything else was fine.

My husband, my son and I went to get again on kellys information said they had a child pool they should really give a description of that! My son is 3 and when I looked up kellys inn online it showed this huge play ground pool with slides and a kinda jungle theme. When we got there for the child pool was a 1 ft 6 in circle of water. So not impressed, […] showed them a picture of the pool we thought would be there and they informed us that was at the best western kelly inn and we couldnt switch because they were full! They should add pictures of pools at each location! I felt horrible getting my childs hopes up telling him there were slides and fun things to do! What a crappy get away! Our stay was okay, an older hotel. Decor could be updated. Would be nice to have fridges in the rooms.

We were not at all happy with our stay. The room smellled of old cigarettes, the fan for the heat was noisy and there were kids running up and down the halls first thing in the morning. At 7 am the first morning, we were awakened by the sound of a vacuum. Would not recommend a stay here and will not be returning. I was very excited for a weekend away, and i got to the hotel and sat on the recliner, and it was sticky all over the side that i leaned my bag against so obviously that hadn't been cleaned in a while. there was a brown mark on the ceiling by the sink which wasn't a big deal until we went to go to bed and turned off the tv and we could hear water dripping […] onto our ceiling from the floor above it i assume. i didn't even want to think how long that had been going on and the amount of mold growing between the floors. i told the front desk on my way out on Sunday and they didn't seem surprised or concerned Lisätietoja

I stayed for two nights and was very satisfied with the hotel and area it was in. I felt safe, and it was nice and quiet at night, even tho the lounge was very busy with alot of cars outside. The only suggestion is that they update the air conditioning as it was quite noisy when starting up especially. It is not a quiet place and the breakfast is just ok , not great. Only shower provided and water run slow. Carpet area is too old. You need to make sure all the curtain were close properly for the whole glass panel is facing the hallway.

we enjoyed our stay the room was clean, staff friendly, breakfast excellent. The only thing that could have been imporved on was the bed was a little older.

Nice hotel. When booking a room make sure you book a queen size bed. We thought we booked queen size but it was a twin bed. The rooms were clean and they had a excellent breakfast. Would stay again, providing we had queen size beds.....

We appreciated the cleanliness of the room and bathroom upon our arrival at the Kelly Inn on Main Ave in Fargo. Being a non smoking hotel was a big plus for us. Our stay was very comfortable, since our room faced the courtyard it was very quiet. This hotel looked like it hadn't been updated in twenty years. The beds were terrible-- no box spring and no support. You couldn't sit on the edge of the bed because the mattress started sliding off. The room hadn't been cleaned very well the first night. It had been vacuumed and the beds made, but the place was dusty and there was hair in the shower. The […] second night, the air conditioning ceiling vent started leaking. We collected about 2 inches of water by morning. When I mentioned this to the front desk at check out, I was told "maintenance will be notified. Sorry." The only positive thing I have to say is that the woman who checked us in was very nice and was able to switch a room for us (there is no elevator) without any issues. Lisätietoja

This hotel was alright. We were impressed with the pools and the size of the hotel. However, we were disappointed with the rooms. They were paper thin walls and it was super loud. We had a terrible sleep due to a very noisy air conditioner. Next time we wouldn't stay here.

We stayed with our two boys, 6 and 4 years old and were pleasantly surprised. The nice courtyard with swimming pool in the center is a real plus, along with the indoor pool. Having a full breakfast made it a good value. It was easy to find and we heard no traffic even though it is next to the interstate.

Hotel is conveniently located, Clean and good service at a reasonable price.
